Hello, one information. I have a shopify site already up and running with several active info products but I would like to change the template because I don’t like what I have aesthetically. Does changing template risk problems or that something stops working or is it just an aesthetic question? Thank you

Yes. When you change new template, only lose customization, however, your products, categories and applications are remain. Don’t worry about this.

In other words, the Ella theme version 6.0 was built from the Dawn theme with completely different code structures and compatible with Shopify 2.0. We are not able to match the Ella version 6.0 with Ella version 5.0.

When you wanna upgrade your current theme to newest version, you have to rebuild your website as using a new theme as well as we spent 1 year to build Ella 6.0, everything is built from scratch so hope you can understand for our difficulty and set up Ella 6.0 for your store.

We are not seeing the same screenshots for the 6.3 install. In fact, the usual place to change header setups is not the same. I am assuming its the same for footer. Where do you go to choose the format like in 5.1?

Have you limited header and footer options in 6? I dont see same options we had in Ella 5.

Hi, if I renew support will you be able to help me install the updates and also get the header fixed? The logo won’t change sizes in the header 1 setting and the header 2 setting doesn’t allow full width so the navigation menu has to be much shorter. Will your support help fix this?

So you have variant image grouping in your theme, but i just can’t find it. The theme documentation are not helping since one of them points so a General section but there is only 2 settings – the last one which is meant to be this option is missing. I’M not worrying at all but it says that the support is expired and i need to extend or purchase a new license. Is this really posible that i cannot ask about a function? We optimized our theme code for the loading, using lazy loading images.

There are several factors impact your online store speed, including the following:

- Apps

- Third-party libraries and services

- Analytic libraries

- Theme code

- The number and size of images and videos

So please help us to optimize your product images, don’t use many apps on your site which are not important.

There are still bugs in Ella Ver 6.2.3. The collection page title was with h1 tag in all Ella previous versions but now the super genius Ella team thinks that h1 is not important and they turned it to h3 tag which will decrease the search engine ranking of that page. But they did it. While all other shopify themes at themeforest have h1 tag at the collection page title. But they think h3 is important than h1 so they did it. Collection page title should be uppercase but you can not do it.

When you will select the collection Page Title: Alignment then it will remain on left and you can not align it to any other position.

The collection page layout width also not working. The collection page layout width option not working.

I do not know why this super genius team does not check all these bugs before releasing the next version.

Hope they will think about this. And will resolve these issues in the next version.
