Hi!
I’m desperately looking for some way to fix an error, but I don’t know how to do it. My support time ended recently, but I will use the theme only now. The Buddypress plugin is causing a critical error on the site and I don’t know what to do, because as soon as I installed the plugins it already happened.
Please help me in this matter. I love the theme and am going to use it for my course platform.
I’m Brazilian and paying for a renewal is very expensive in dollars. I would just like to fix this error that was not caused by me.

I want to use this theme now, but I’ve a really problem: If a activate the force login, the users can’t use the ‘forgot password’ function, if I put the url of ‘forum’ the subforums are redirected too to the login page.

Hi Toude if you read the changelog, you’ll see that we had 2 updates this month only, one of them to add support for BuddyPress Group Types, but we don’t have plans to add LMS integrations.
Yes, I see bug fix, but I don’t know is there anything new coming like integrations with any plugins.
Btw Group subscription button not working with phone resolution.
At this moment, Vikinger WP reached its intended final stage. We’ll keep updating for bugs and updates issues, but we don’t have big updates planned for the moment.

I’ve deactivated plugins, activated them alone, deleted Vikinger and re-added it—the error only shows up when I activate Vikinger. Any ideas? Thanks.

The theme displays the comment timestamp in the format “n units ago” (where n is a number and units can be seconds, minutes, hours, etc).
For example: “2 minutes ago”.
There is no option to select another format, you’ll need to customize the theme code / use an available filter (i.e. “vikinger_comments_get_results”) if you want to change this.

Clicking textarea on BuddyPress makes all text blurry inside .content-grid.
The problem occurs due to .animate-slide-down in BuddyPress activity as well.
The source of this problem from the beginning was the usage of transform in CSS.
Chrome is affected and it is pretty bad for its users.

Meanwhile, I did a fix on my own.
Maybe you could use something similar.
It does not need much coding, transform is set to none, and then content-grid is wrapped by a new div.
This new div is calculating its width 100% minus the side menu 80px for closed and 300px for opened.

Basically, it is the same thing that you had with transform, just in this case no blur is present.
I already “played” with this when I wanted to show meta field on different place, in this case it is an embed iframe. I created new template calling in a new template part , v4, which is calling video or any iframe in new embed grid, so I was on the right track to find the solution, even though I am not any schooled coder.

Only downside is, my videos can’t be played from blog, because I just use standard post format (not video) and custom template that calls “post-open-v4.php”, get_template_part(‘template-part/post/post-open’, ‘v4’, [ ‘post’ => $post_data ]);,
I do not know where you have $post_data[‘type’] function stored, or how it works, so I just put v4 instead of that.
I am willing to share CSS and all code if you are interested to acomplish this v4 video version as well. For me it looks great.

The marketplace feature is required by everyone, don’t you plan to add it?
We don’t have plans at the moment as free marketplace plugins don’t have fully integration with BP. For example Dokan marketplace plugin is not integrated with BuddyPress: https://wordpress.org/plugins/dokan-lite/ (you can read this in the FAQs section of that page) If this changes, the team will check it out.

I really like your Vikinger theme for Buddypress, however there is one thing that is stopping me buying it and that is it does not have the facility to post on the front end!
I know there is a great editor in the wp Admin panel and I can make members an Author, but I do not want members going in the Admin panel, I want everything on the front end, is this something you may be working on?

Hi Mark, thanks! Sadly, we don’t have plans to add a front end post feature. The WordPress blog feature works from the backend and they have an already really powerful editor with lots of blocks and features (and constantly getting updates).
If you don’t want to grant access to the complete backend features to someone, remember that you also have the option to give users the role of “Editor”, “Author”, or “Contributor” https://wordpress.org/support/article/roles-and-capabilities/ which allows them to write blog posts from the backend but “locks” some of the other features.
Please remember that we haven’t tested any front end submission plugins with the theme (they aren’t supported), so they may require additional coding in order to fully integrate them.

Hello, I have the following issues
1.The rank that I have created are not showing on the rank page 2. Uploaded avatar images however large I make them always appear blurry 3. Is it possible to adjust the blog post/page width. I know the theme is not ideal for blogging but simple text editor features like numbered list or bullet points don’t show

Hi, I’m trying to customize my website but I’m not sure how to do it. I’m trying to include the forum menu inside of a group but I couldn’t find where I can edit the page to include other menus in there, whatever is from the WP admin or inside the code. I couldn’t find this info in the documentation or videos either. This is my first time using WP so I’d appreciate your understanding. Thank you.
