Hello, I SOLVED the variable product issue. Possibly a video tutorial for this would help others, there were a lot of fiddly settings I had to figure out for sizing. I looked over that tutorial for what seemed like the third time and then finally I was able to do it. I am greatful.
My site is hidden behind a countdown, could you send me an email at hello@future-productions.com I can unlock it to show you but on the homepage THE ONLY MAIN ISSUE NOW is video backgrounds not loading on mobile device, is there option:
1) To allow select pictures to be used as parallax backrounds for mobile if videos will not play on homepage – hence my issue with huge empty spaces?? There seems no easy way to do this in this theme?? As the empty space displays a video background on desktop, there is a huge white empty space on mobile (as the video will not play).
2) Can the Shop page be 4 items and not 3? Just to test with the ability to switch back and forth between 3-4 right now the product thumbnails also seem low resolution at the size of 3 across??
3) To allow Tido intergration as this seems not to work consitently on dektop & mobile devices. Plugin issue??

3) It seems to never load on the mobile phone. Still having issues. They say it is possibly the elementor plugin but i turned that off for a while and still no mobile chat. This used to work on previous versions. Now not loading.
4) IM HAVING MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH MOBILE PAYMENTS. PUT A TEST PAYMENT THROUGH AND NEVER RECIEVED IT. IM WORRIED IT WILL TAKE 7 DAYS OR IT IS LOST!! ALSO CANNOT GET EMAILS IN REGARDS TO ORDERS BEING PLACED OR SUBSCRIBE FORM EMAILS. Cant track where that money went. Im using a paypal plugin to try and capture payments.

The main issue was i was able to take payments directly via paypal in the past now its charging fees. I dont want to have to have really high prices just because of the fees. Can we switch back to the old system where the full 100% of the money is recieved my company intends to make some charitable donations. At the moment its saying i only recive 75p for every pound recieved!!!

What do you mean by switching back to the old system? Our theme isn’t related to any payment methods and even more the fees you were charged. We suggest you contact the developer of the payment plugin that you are using for such clarifications or use a new one.

Hi colabrio, thanks for getting back to me. I was able to disable the empty space issue using the setting in wp bakery and telling it to not display on mobile devices or tablets. this seemed to fix it.
The example site in the theme demonstates a clean payment system but when I use woocomerce payments as per the default by the theme, i think it charges for that service. Id like to swap out the functionality to a free service you can reccomend or a free plugin that transfers the red button payments directly to my account with no fees. Im really confused about this. Sorry for the long message. I have spent many days on this site and im tripping up over payments and how to recieve the full figures of product prices mentioned on the site.
By default I am seeing a red add to cart and buy now button. under the checkout section section i click pay by card and immediately it uses stripe by default which leaves me with 75p from each 1 pound listed… id love to get this sorted out and figure out why tidio does not work on mobile devices. Just these 2 issues now…

Oh, I think the reason is that I’m using Image icon, so did you implement it only for icons and not images ?

I was impatiently waiting for the 3.1.9 update to fix the problem of individual products. But after installation it’s even worse than before.
On the product page if I check Sold individually the quantity counter bugs at the display level and displays NaN. In the shopping cart the formatting is also not normal.

For products that are sold with a variable number for the quantity there is no problem. The ideal would be to have exactly the same display as the products with variable quantity but that its remains displayed 1x product.

I was able to deal with this error. It turned out that an error had crept into the code. It should be:
.portfolio-sorting a .num { display: none; }
Instead of:
.portfolio-filter a .num { display: none; }

The menu button only allows me to add a link. But I need to add a shortcode. How can I do this? I can’t simply add a link to the main menu and give it a class to position it to the right of the menu, similar to the menu button because the menu uses a grid. So it would get quite funky for me to try and make this work.
Are there any other options? I would be okay modifying the header.php file since I’m using a child theme if you could point me in the right direction of where to find this element in the header.php file or any other file the markup would be located.

Unfortunately, there’s no option to add a shortcode to the menu button. However, as you mentioned you can use a child-theme solution.
You need the menu_button.php file to be placed under the following directory of your child theme:
.../wp-content/themes/ohio-child/parts/elements/menu_button.php
So that you will be able to modify the button source code.

Hello. EU has banned Google Fonts without consent and we’ve moving all the sites to local fonts. There is <link rel=’stylesheet’ id=’google-fonts-1-css’> that is always generated in the Head, for example here: https://ohio.clbthemes.com/demo8/homedemo8-elementor/

For those, who also need to disable the Google Fonts: Elementor will not let you disable them, this is in their buglist right now and is scheduled to be fixed in the next major update in 2023. Right now the only reliable way to disable Google Fonts is to install plugin Asset Cleanup and under Settings – Google Fonts – Tab “Remove All” activate the “Remove Google Fonts” option.

After update Ohio theme 3.1.8, (my wordpress still says 3.1.7) My contact form shows up wrong, my footer “sign up newsletter” shows up wrong and my logo in the footer is not lined with the top any more. Also my “scroll to top” link on the left does not appear anymore, only in the footer part.
How to fix all this, since it goes wrong after your update…

The contact form issue is a known one that got introduced by an update to the Contact Form 7 plugin. We believe that the developers of the plugin will be releasing a fix as they’re getting bombarded with reviews asking to revert the change. For now you can roll back to the previous version (5.6.4) and wait for an update or apply a temporary workaround.

When I activate the theme, the popup just closed really fast, and nothing happens. I disabled all browser extension, and try to use different browser, but dosen’t work. Please help. This is really bothering and makes this theme can’t be use.
When I click the ‘Activate’ button, the pop-up loads a bit of time; then, after the popup fully loaded with text, it self-closed really fast. The button text changed to ‘proceeding…’, but suddenly changed back to ‘Activate’ and nothing heppens
I am trying to copy the URL of popup, then paste and open in another tab, and then manualy click the ‘Activate’ button on “https://demo.clbthemes.com/activation?code=b29….cfc”, it’s looks works – it showing the license already activated on my website
But, when I back to Wordpress admin dashboard, it still showing “Theme activation is required.”
This is so frustrating. Please help.. what i can do to activate my theme

We’ve upload the recent version about a minute ago.
Ok but i tried 3 times more just right now and still not working. In the ACF options, license key are requested.
I just see another problem with Ohio theme and the last version of Elementor Pro : impossible to edit an elementor page, i have a blank page. I switch to a defaut theme to try, and it work perfect. Therefore there is an incompability with the Ohio latest version of the theme. I asked to Elementor support, and they confirm me this option.
But maybe the reason is the ACF update ?
