Dear, I have created a website based on your Kinsey template, which I purchased on EnvatoMarket, which is currently hosted on “msvmike.net” and, unfortunately, is still in the experimental phase. The reason for this is that the site does not work properly on all mobile devices, both mobile phones and tablets. On desktop computers, as well as laptops with full HD screen resolution, everything is fine. Disappointed and feeling cheated, I am turning to you with a request for help. Please check my claims on “msvmike.net”. I would like to point out that I have already repeated the creation of the site several times from scratch, without any improvement.
Hello. There is a JS error in console on your website. Try to remove the ”#” symbol at the end of your instagram icon link: “https://www.instagram.com/marina_lovesphotography/?igsh=YnRkM2xscDkwdjFu&utm_source=qr#” This should help.
Forgotten note: when I removed the “page footer” section (it is not displayed on the portfolio and all galleries subpages anyway) from all subpages, everything worked except “contacts.html”.

On the main page, when scrolling through slides, there is always a glitch on the second slide (Zero Audio Speaker). The slide is twitching. When scrolling through the rest of the slides, it’s always good. This problem occurs in Safari browser, Mac Mini M2 and MacBook Air M3.
Hello. It seems that the color theme change (attribute [data-slide-theme] on the backgrounds slider) degrades the performance specifically in this browser. I don’t know if there is any specific fix for Safari since there is no such problem in other browsers. May be the only way is to remove the color theme change in here.

whetever i do – the template wont show my image in front of list items (image path: correct, standard css implentation: correct). your theme always seems to (javascript) render and overwrite this (and many other) items ion the page.
Hello! Are you trying to implement the custom markup together with split lines/chars effect for the text? If this is the case It needs to be turned off (remove “js-arts-split-text arts-split-text” classes and [data-arts-split-text]) since there is a limited support for text styling when the effect is on.

Hello. I don’t know if there are any custom styles applied so it became square, but to round anything in CSS, just set it large border radius in pixels, e.g. border-radius: 9999px;

Hello! Thanks. There are some inertia issues arise when smooth scrolling is on and you’re scrolling horizontally at the same time. So the smooth scrolling is being disabled intentionally when horizontal scrolling scene is active.
Hi ArtmeSemkin, there’s an issue with 002-portfolio-fullscreen-slider-background-color-2.html if I use only 3 items. the main titles are not anymore at the top, middle and bottom but all shifted upwards. You can test it on that page. Thanks for any help.
Hello. You need to either have taller slides (e.g. by adding inner vertical paddings to the contents) or more amount of slides in order to let Swiper to position them properly in this template.

Hello. Instead of trying to integrate it to the slider markup I would recommend to create an absolutely positioned element (at section level) with z-index higher than the slider and put your copyright there.

Hi ArtmeSemkin, there could be another bug happening only on Safari 16.4: in 034-services.html the parallax of the footer doesn’t work. If I remove the last slider in the page then the parallax of the footer works fine.
That issue happened in more than an instance when I was using that slider in my website.

Hello! Yes. In the Template Options increase this multiplier window.kinsey.theme.animations.timeScale.preloader. For example, 2.0 value will make the preloader animation to run 2 times faster.

Hi ArtemSemkin, I hope I’m not bothering but I found 2 more issues…
028-portfolio-list-cards-fullwidth.html : the last portfolio card “modern furniture shop” is overlapping to the previous one until I resize the page, then the overlapping gets corrected. If you add more cards they will all overlap to each other. Same issue happen with 029-portfolio-list-cards-boxed.html if I add more cards.
051-classic-menu-center.html : after scrolling down a bit the menu items disappear when hovering on them, no underline effect and item becomes white rather than black. It happens in all pages with classic menu.

the issue on 028 and 029 html pages happen only in Safari. Sorry I forgot to mention that.
There is also another issue always on safari, not the other browsers, with page 030: when scrolling up or down the dark mask of the items disappear as well as the text. It looks like flashing.
Safari is really a pain: I should stop using it to make websites

good morning there. I don’t know if it’s a bug but while implementing 026-portfolio-grid-2-columns.html page for my website the filter doesn’t like odd numbers. E.g.: the underline effect does not work if I have 11 or 13 projects while it works without issues if I have 10 or 12. you can easily replicate the issue by adding one item on the 026 page… Any quick fix? best regards Luigi

it happens on your template as well. If you add the quick fix, open page 026, click on any filter and then back to “all”. Scroll down and you’ll see the issue: the first item of the right column is at the height is supposed to be. The other items are all aligned with the ones in the left column (and they’re not supposed to be aligned on that page)

I have a question regarding images for a high resolution website. In previous templates I used to name the jpgs for Retina displays with @2x. Does it work the same way with your template or should I just double the size of the images following the placeholders sizes? E.g. 1920×1280 becomes 3840×2560

For a lazy image you can specify path for a hi-res image via [data-retina] attribute like this:

For a non-lazy image use a standard [srcset] attribute and “2x” pixel density descriptor:

Hello! Thank you, but unfortunately such feature is not coded in the template. If you’d like to implement your own solution, you can do this in file /SOURCE/components/section/sectionScrollThemeSwitch/SectionScrollThemeSwitch.js or directly in components.js in SectionScrollThemeSwitch class.

Hello! I am planning to use the theme as a personal portfolio, so the Works page is the most important for me. The page transition from Portfolio page to a casestudy is very basic and annoying to the eye to see all items moving. Can I apply the same transition you have between casestudies (when scrolling to the end of casestudy) to the potfolio page? It’s so seamless and perfect. For example, when clicking on the casestudy picture, it expands and the items reveals after?
