Pre Sales: If I don’t want to use WOO commerce with an installation, what are best practices for the install? Do I still need to download Woo plugin or can it be ignored? Also, the events option is it using a plugin? I don’t see a real example of the events page and does it have a calendar of events …. TIA

You can ignore the WooCommerce plugin when installing the theme, choosing not to download and install it.
For events, you can use a third-party events plugin, such as “The Events Calendar” plugin, or other popular WordPress events plugins.

Is it possible to have menu items in different languages, or do we need to translate every bit of content through WPML or whatever plugin? Also, is there another way of creating bookings in your theme, or just that Opentable widget?

PatioTime is translation ready, you can using the third-party plugin “Polylang” ( free ) or “WPML” ( paid ) to translate all content for multilingual website.
Please refer to this chapter of PatioTime online documentation for more information.

PatioTime provides two methods to create a booking form – OpenTable ( please refer to this demo site ) or Contact Form 7 ( please refer to this demo site ).

Hey there, is it possible to close the offcanvas menu (seen on the Seafood demo) with ESC key? This would be a great improvement regarding the theme’s UIX. And does the theme come with other menu styles like a fullscreen menu?

Yes, you can use Elementor to edit the site header, including the mobile version of the site header. So you can change the logo size for mobile and also show button beside hamburger on mobile.

Hi there! I appreciate your response, but I asked about WOOCOMMERCE pages. I love your theme, and actually purchased it when you first released (as you probably know because my 6 months support has expired). I’ve become quite adept with your theme. With that being said, product pages don’t work the same way as posts. The Patiotime page options are not present. The shop page title is carried on every single product page, and becomes quite redundant. I can use css to remove the shop title from the shop page, but it still carries to single product pages. I am not able to leave a ticket because my “support” has expired, but perhaps you can think about adding these options to WOOCOMMERCE pages. This would be a great selling tool for you. In the meantime, I will continue to look for a solution elsewhere. Thank you again!

The page titles on the Shop/Cart/Checkout/My Account pages can be hidden by enabling the “Hide Page Title Section” option, since they are “Pages”. So you can hide the titles on these pages without adding CSS.
For single products, you are right, currently the theme does not provide this option for single products. Thanks for bringing this up. I’ve added it to our “feature request list” and confirmed with the development team that it will be added in the next theme update. The next update is expected in January or February of next year as the holidays approach.

Thank you so much for your reply, and the addition to the features list! I should also point out that a page like ‘blog’ or ‘shop’ still shows the title once it’s set as the default page on WordPress and WOOCOMMERCE settings. If you unlink the page (ie posts page is blog), the settings work again.

Yes, for blog page, it is a known bug, our development team will fix it in the next update of the theme.
For shop page, actually you can hide the page title section via the Gutenberg editor. Please make sure you are running the latest version of PatioTime ( version 1.2.0, released on October 9, 2022 ).
