Hello, what is the ideal version of WordPress? I installed version 5.8.6 and also installed PHP version 7.4.33. Would this be a problem? Additionally, when I try to create a post and select the “gallery” option, the CSS for the “Add Image” button doesn’t seem to work. What could be the reason for this? I’m sure I installed everything correctly, as I carefully followed installation videos.

1. Is there a possibility to add the privacy option in the posts as you have in the demo images?
2. Can you “choose” what is posted in the News Feed?
3. Do you plan on adding customization options within the store in the future? Such as custom profile frame, username in another color, etc. If you don’t plan it, can you do that job for me?

1- Sorry, but BuddyPress only has a privacy option just for groups at the moment, not profiles/posts. We’ll update those images accordingly.
2- No, the BuddyPress feed shows all activity.
3- We don’t have plans for this.Sadly, we can’t take any custom jobs due to lack of time as after the pandemic our team got smaller and it’s already stretched thin.

theme looks great but over time it has become painfully slow to load any page. i removed the theme and kept all the plugins and the same site runs fine. Any suggestions.
From the live preview of the theme, you can see that the feeds and content loads pretty fast. This being a social community, lots of people ask us about speed. Our theme is speed optimized, and we always keep optimizing it further, but speed will also greatly depend on your hosting and scale of your project.

Please keep in mind that it will always depend on the scale of your project, so we strongly recommend talking with them in order to see what service will suit your needs.
my hosting is pretty good. its the equivalent to hostinger vps 8. I have about 750 users. in the database. but they are not actively using it at the same time. I enabled php-fpm and things are a bit better

We don’t have any other reports of other users having the same speed issues, so this might have something to do with your installation/plugins as you receive the same theme as everyone else, if this was a theme issue, everyone would have speed issues.

I am about to release a site that we built using buddyboss and my silly wife came across your theme and now I am upset because yours looks so much better. I was hoping I could ask a few questions. Our community will be a small business community which uses most of the plugins you use but I was wondering if most buddypress plugins would work with your theme?
Such as: Wp Job Manager Space Engine or a business directory we could add Dokan for multi-vendor
Your theme looks amazing and I am very seriously considering changing over before I release it.

Sadly the theme doesn’t have integration with the plugins you mention. This is mainly because of the really different and custom design of the theme, (that has things like a custom slider with icon tabs in the profile pages instead of the classic BP row of links in order to make it look different than the average BP theme). Having this custom things makes that plugins that may work in a vanilla theme, may require some code customization in order to integrate them.

If a plugin is not explicitly listed there, then it hasn’t been tested with the theme and we can’t ensure it will be compatible.

How can a post type be added to activity feeds? I managed to add support for a post by editing js/app.bundle.min.js. Though, now I wanted to change the name and add another, though anything I try doesn’t seem to do anything. Commenting out my last edit also still shows the activities. So I’m very confused on how the activity posts by type are working.

We created more than 20 icons for you to choose from and use with the menu items of the Side Menu menu location. You can assign any of this icons to any menu item by entering the icon name into the menu item CSS Classes property:
