We have checked this out and this actually is not an issue with Lazy Loading functionality but the way you are implementing this. There is no img src’s or placeholders defined for your Lazy Loading Images which is why they have no bounding boxes causing them to jump when they are lazy loaded. You can simply add placeholder along with your Image dimensions and there will be no layout shifts.

Thanks for your inputs. We added the src tag with height and width, most of the layout shifts are solved, but in Firefox if we gently scroll to the bottom of the page, it still shifts the layout and there is a gerk in the page. Please note: this is not the case in google chrome, we are facing this in Firefox.

The .topmargin, .bottommargin, .leftmargin, .rightmargin related Classes have already been deprecated in v6.x and removed in v7.x. We recommend using only Bootstrap related Spacing Classes: https://docs.semicolonweb.com/docs/utility-classes/spacing/ . These class will still work on v6.x but not on newer versions of Canvas. Newer Spacing Classes are more extendable and can be made compatible with RTL Layouts out of the box.

Since Canvas is a Static HTML5/CSS3 Template, the .current Class needs to be added manually. Or you can also use JS Codes to trace the parent of the Item based on the location.pathname.

Thank you for your answer. I did append the .current class to the whole path (3 menu items mentioned). But it seems it merely highlights the .menu-item on the first level. I want to highlight ”Menu Styles”/”Pill Style” as well.

This should work fine. This will automatically add the current class recursively to the Parent Menu Item. Any further customizations must be done manually.

Depending on the Icon Library, the grid sizes of Icons may differ and in case the Bootstrap Icons seems 0.5px more in height. You can simply change the Icon Class to fa-brands fa-instagram and this will fix the issues you are facing. It is not recommended to change the default Icon Library CSS.

1. Since Canvas is a Static HTML5/CSS3 Template, starting a New Website is as simple as Plug and Play. You can consider generating a Custom Package here: http://docs.semicolonweb.com/docs/getting-started/installation/ according to the HTML Files you need for your website and our Package Generator will sort the Files for you to download. Suppose, you need the SEO Template, simply choose this File in the Package Generator and then press the Generate button. A Custom Package will be generated for you only based on your selected file.

And then you can simply edit those HTML Files manually with some knowledge of HTML/CSS according to your needs in a Text Editor like Sublime Text/VS Code and upload it to your Servers using FTP. We recommend starting with a Localhost Setup on your personal PC/Macbook before you deploy using FTP.

2. This depends on your requirements. You can use the Classic Elements: https://canvastemplate.com/index.html#section-shortcodes on your Website use the Premade Blocks: https://canvastemplate.com/blocks.html .

3. Canvas is already PHP Friendly. You can simply change the extension of the Files from .html to .php and then add your PHP Codes. The PHP Codes provided with the Documentation are primarily for Contact Forms which uses PHPMailer.

I use ‘6.6.5’. For checking the issue, please check the ‘header-transparent.html’ file. It has already have ‘dark’ class applied, yet removing the ‘dark’ class won’t make any difference as the class is added (maybe by js?) after loading the file.

Yes, since this is a Transparent Header used alongside the Canvas Swiper Slider, the Header will take the Scheme of the Swiper Slide if the Swiper Slide has a .dark Class applied to it.

Canvas’s Codes does not include any reCaptcha related Codes except the contact-recaptcha.html and contact-recaptcha-v3.html Files. Additionally, reCaptcha is not a feature that is required on every page so not included anywhere. Could be possible that some CDN like Cloudflare is causing this?
