Hello, I had some specific questions, and you told me to wait a moment while you prepared an answer. However, you have deleted all my questions and never received any answer. So, here are the questions again:
1) The overlay color/gradient of the header on the homepage and other pages does not work, or I cannot get it to work. Please advise me on how to resolve this.
2) The color of the “Welcome text” cannot be changed. Could you please advise me on how to modify it?
3) The background color of the logo does not work, or I cannot get it to work. The same issue applies to the background color of “Other pages.” Please provide guidance on how to address this problem.
4) The background color of the top menu does not work, or I cannot get it to work. Please advise me on how to rectify this.
5) The background color of the top menu toggle does not work, or I cannot get it to work. Please provide guidance on how to fix this issue.
6) I am experiencing the same problem with the “Top menu: background color” and “Top menu toggle: background color.” I cannot get them to work. Please advise me on how to resolve this issue.
I have made changes in the theme editor, but they do not affect the design outcome in any way.
Thank you.
Hi gathom. You just posted your purchase code for public. That’s why your comment was deleted. The purchase code is sensitive information and must be used for your personal use. Not public. I will answer all of your questions in short time. You asked many questions at a once. I need to check them all on my side first before answering. Please, give me more time to prepare answers. Thank you.
Ok, thank you.
Hi again. Answering your questions. By the way, thank you for re-posting the questions.
1) You should change the color of the header here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Header -> Overlay color of Header on Home page. See screenshot https://ibb.co/cxxdFSq
2) You can change the color of the welcome text manually only. Go here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Header -> Welcome message -> click on the text tab -> add the CSS style to the text. See screenshot https://ibb.co/1Jy6Gcd
3) Logo background works for first and second positions only. Try to select them and see resilts here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Logo -> Logo position.
4), 5) and 6) Background colors of Top menu should be selected here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Top menu -> Top menu: background color. See screenshot https://ibb.co/z66zQcn
Try to use all the theme settings first without any other plugins. Disable all plugins but DateBook. For example, cache plugin does not allow to update the CSS styles and see current results. As you can see on our screenshots, all color options work properly. We do not use any cache plugin.
Also, sometimes some servers silently display cached pages. Try to check it on your site.
Kind regards
Hi, how i do make icons appear, they seem not to load.
If you use Elementor, then you can disable its icons in its settings, or you can load icons here: WordPress -> Appearance -> Customize -> DateBook -> For e load Font Awesome.
Thank you Pagick it worked you awesome
Hi Pagik, I cant log into the website after logging out, it simply reloads the homepage after clicking login it doesn’t even show the login page so I can enter username and password even when I append the url with wp-admin it simply reloads to the homepage.
Hi PGLDesigns. I answered what to do in the comment below.
I cant log into the website after logging out, it simply reloads the homepage after clicking login it doesn’t even show the login page so I can enter username and password even when I append the url with wp-admin it simply reloads to the homepage.
It seems you did not complete the installation fully. The login page was not created. Now you should rename the DateBook plugin folder to datebook2 on FTP connection, here: wp-content/plugins/datebook
After that, you will be able to login the admin area: wp-admin.
After that, rename the DateBook plugin folder to datebook on ftp.
Now, you should complete the installation here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Theme Installer -> do all three steps.
Remember to check if the login page exists here: WordPress -> Pages. Remember: the login page must have the DateBook template.
After that, check if all DateBook pages were selected here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Pages.
Thank you its the theme options the homepage was specified as login, and also in the theme options i had checked the option which prevents directly visiting the wp-admin
Home page must be set here: WordPress -> Settings -> Reading.
Pre sale question: can the search and insertion of profiles be by cities instead of countries?
Yes, this is possible. The search form can search by country or region or city.
Demo (fake) profiles can be generated by city. The theme has a special function for generating different profiles with different data. For example: create 300 profiles, women only, in Melbourne, from 20 to 60 years old, hetero and/or lesbians only, and other details.
Hi, I have installed the theme imported the data and pages and activated the theme now i cannot edit any pages using elementor or visual composer any directives on how to make it possible?
Hi. The pages created with DateBook are editable. You can not edit them with a page builder.
You should create your own pages with Elementor. After that, you should insert our shortcodes in your pages. Shortcodes can be found here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Shortcodes.
Also, after you created your own pages, you have to select them all here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Pages.
Pagick, i have some questions if you don’t mind. I am using a Chromebook to build my site.
1) Simply saving the changes and edits in the DatingBook theme isn’t working. How do i publish my site after making and saving the changes? I’m asking because the new changes do not take effect immediately and I always have to delete my cookies and cache. Obviously if i am building a site I don’t want to delete my cookies and cache hundreds of times.
How/where do i actually publish my Wordpress site after i’ve made changes so i can actually SEE the changes i’ve made.
2) I have Loco Translate installed and activated. When someone clicks on another language to view the site in their language, is the site translated automatically?
Or, do i have to manually enter the translations into each of the profile and search custom fields? That’s A LOT of manual labor so i pray that you say the site translates automatically.
3) I log into my wordpress site via my Siteground hosting account. Once I log into the WordPress admin, and i open another tab to view my site changes i am automatically logged into the site on that tab. This shouldn’t happen, because i’m trying to see the site as a new member, not as the admin. How do i stop that from happening?
Thanks for your help, i hope you can help me.
Darlene
Lastly, you stated in response to someone, “Demo (fake) profiles can be generated by city. The theme has a special function for generating different profiles with different data. For example: create 300 profiles, women only, in Melbourne, from 20 to 60 years old, hetero and/or lesbians only, and other details.” Where exactly in the theme options is this function located, and is there any documentation for it?
Good day dear Darlene. I apologize for the delay.
1) The theme changes must be displayed on the frontend immediately. If you use a cache plugin, then you have to delete the cache every time you make some changes in the theme settings. There is no other way to see the changes.
You can update the page in your browser with CTRL + F5. Browsers always love to display the cached files even if there is no cache plugin.
2) Yes, the theme has been translated fully. The theme translates into another language automatically. But all custom fields and email templates must be translated manually, here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Custom fields and here WordPress -> DateBook -> Email templates.
3) Use another browser. This is simple way. We always use several browsers while developing the theme: one for administrator, one for loggedin user, and one for notloggedin visitor.
4) Demo profiles can be generated here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Demo content. Try to play with different options and see results.
Perhaps, I might misunderstand your questions, please, let me know if so.
Kind regards
Hello, Just installed, everything is working but a user can’t register, after keying in the details and submitting, nothing happens, also, I am unable to upload images to the existing users’s profiles, after selecting the image and uploading, nothing happens.
Hi. You must activate the theme here: WordPress -> DateBook -> License -> enter your purchase code in the field “Enter your purchase code ”. See screenshot https://ibb.co/2PwwL2D
Some main functions do not work without purchase code.

I want to install Dating WordPress Theme, how to install? is it the first step of install brizy?
Pagick, sorry, can I refund my Dating WordPress Theme?
I apologize for not answering in time very much. All of our assistants are on vacation at the moment. But I will do my best to respond in time. I was very busy with preparing the next update.
Here is a guide with illustrations on how to install the theme https://www.pagickthemes.com/how-to-install-or-update-datebook/
Actually, it does not matter what to install first: the theme or Brizy page builder. It is better to install the theme first and after that Brizy.
Kind regards and thank you for understanding.
Thank you for your response can please reply to my email tembe.khuleh@gmail.com i have sent a request but no reply
SiteGround services are not available in the selected country where I live in New Zealand
I didn’t get what you mean. Sorry. Could you clarify please?
I want to registration for my website with my hosting account in site ground, but I can’t, when I go to step 3 Review & Complete, show “SiteGround services are not available in the selected country “
Yes, most of hosting providers do not support Australia and New Zealand.
You should find another hosting company based in those countries.
For example: webcentral.au
Good day Pagick please help me with this
1 report function is not working is running nonstop
2 wise chat plugin is not working when user is logged in only working fine when logged as admin
Good day. I will check and fix the issue. The update with the fix will be available very soon.
hello id like demo2 where to download it thankx
Hi. For this, you should do the following:
1) Install the Brizy page builder plugin. But do not activate it yet.
2) Find the folder “Demo content” in the archive file you downloaded on ThemeForest. Unpack it on your desktop. There must be 2 files “datebook-brizy-pages.xml” and “datebook-brizy-templates.xml”.
3) Go to here: WordPress -> Tools -> Import -> WordPress Importer -> select 2 files to import from the folder “Demo content”.
4) Go to here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Pages tab -> select all imported pages in all fields.
5) Select this option: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Page Builder tab -> Profile page builder -> select “Third party Page Builder”.
6) Select the home page here: WordPress -> Settings -> Reading.
7) Activate the Brizy page builder plugin.
That’s it.
Hi, why are there no updates for so long? six months have passed…are updates expected within a month ? I would like the errors in the application to be minimal or absent at all
Hi. The update will be released this week. Some errors have been fixed. Also, Bootstrap 5+ (latest) will be added. I apologize for the delay.
Please check that the paid tariff ends in the update, now on the latest version, if you install it once, for example, before June 1, it will not end and will go until it is manually completed.
yes. I will check it. Thank you
Hi Pagick, do you offer paid customization services for your theme?
Hi. No, sorry. I can help install the theme or correct some issues on sites only.
Hello, Pagick! Does the theme support php 8.2 version?
Hi. Yes. The theme supports PHP 8.2
An error occurs when recalculating profiles by country and region when using php 8.0, 8.1 and 8.2:
function(){return o&&i(n,o),(s.migrateIsPatchEnabled(n)?r:a||s.noop).apply(this,arguments)}
Everything works beautifully on our side. No errors.
Hi, Pagick!
My “— Profile – Photos” page becomes “personal” and disappears from publication about 1 time a day if the caching plugin is enabled. I tried with 2 different plugins, everything is the same. What can be done? Please help me.
Hi MihailovRA. This is strange. The theme does not have a function that could change the status of pages. I will check it today. Later I will respond.
Hi, I’m interested in the theme, but I’d like to know when the next update. I read in several comments 2 or 3 days. Could you tell us a realistic estimation? Thank you
Hi. Next week. I will do my best to release the update as soon as possible. Thank you
Is there a way to switch off – or hide the sexual preferences of a user profile?
Screenshot : https://imgur.com/a/zrHlBjl
Thx
Yes. You can remove the sexual orientation field here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Forms -> open the Profile form and remove the fields you want. Do the same step with other forms.
Also, you can disable any field globally with one click. For this, go here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Custom fields -> open any field and uncheck the Enable field.
do you have guarantee for refund? and how long?
