Hi, you need to install Hybrid Composer plugin (it is inside the /inc/ theme folder), then go to Appearance > Theme options > Demo import

The problem is that I can’t find the plugin in the downloaded theme files. I checked all the folders. It should be a .zip file, but there’s no file with that name anyway. I also tried downloading the theme again from my Envato profile.

Hi I downloaded the theme again and installed Hybrid Composer. Thanks. However, I don’t understand how to insert a background photo and get the same stunning effect as the online demo. The only available templates are the basic and slider revolution templates, downloaded as described in the documentation. Thanks.

Hi, please delete Hybrid Composer plugin, download latest theme version, and install the new plugin (you find it under /inc/ folder of the theme), clear the browser cache and should work. You may need to update also the theme. The simplest way to update both two are by FTP.

Hi, I use the theme to list items in a masonary list – it used to work ok but now the items in the list seem to corrupt (I am using a masonry list with info box, and masonry list with content box – both will not work

I purchased the theme yesterday and since then i have been trying to work on it but I cant seem to edit this theme. All i can do is change the logo and that is it. The page builder doesnt work. Plus there’s no response from the seller. I need a refund.

I would like to have one font family for Headings (sans serif) and one for the bodytext (serif). In the theme options when i change font family it changes the font. nothing happens on font family 2. I appreciate the help

Hey there. I am really amazed by your theme, but I am encountering the following problem when I try to log-in. To be able to login I have to deactivate Hybrid Composer and then activate it again once logged-in.
Currently the page is hostet on Ubuntu with Plesk.

A drop cap (dropped capital) is a large capital letter used as a decorative element at the beginning of a paragraph or section. How can I make the first letter of a paragraph large? Drop cap code won’t work in the CSS part of the Textbox component.
You have to use CSS, you can use the code component to insert CSS. Regards
I want the drop cap applied to one section only (or one paragraph only), not all the paragraphs within page/post. I tried to insert CSS to one section, it won’t work. The first letter wont capitalize.

It seems the Alpins theme does not support PHP 8.x. As soon as I switch from PHP 7.x to 8.x, the theme seems to be broken and some parts are not shown anymore. Is it correct that PHP 8.x is not supported? Or do I need to do something?

Hello, I wanted to discuss an issue I’m facing with the Alpine theme. Overall, the theme is working perfectly fine for me. However, I’m encountering a problem with the template function. Whenever I try to save a page as a template, I receive an error message saying, “Error. Template may not be saved.” This prevents me from utilizing this feature effectively.
Additionally, I noticed that there is only a “Coming Soon” template available in the built-in templates section. It would be great if there were more options to choose from.
I would appreciate any assistance or guidance you can provide to resolve these matters.

Your hosting may have some incompatibility, PHP Version (max 8.0 but try with 7.4 as well), some of the causes can be: insufficient resources, folder permission limitation, modules not installed like the zip one. Please insert the demo.zip at http://themes.framework-y.com/demo-import/alpins/demo.zip as from instructions of Theme options > Demo import > Problems?
If still don’t work below the manual installation instructions. If still don’t work I can install it for you with also the original demo images for 15USD, the final result will be exactly like the preview.
MANUAL INSTALLATION
DEMO IMPORT
1) Activate the theme.
2) Go to Tools > Import > Wordpress.
3) Install the Wordpress importer and launch it.
4) Select the files demo-all-contents.xml ( 1-2 … 8 ), in the correct order and click Upload file and import for each one.
5) Will appear the “Assign Authors” form, select “assign posts to an existing user: admin” (or your main user).
6) Select “Download and import file attachments”.
7) Wait up to 5 minutes, when importing complete you will receive a success message.
LISTS – POST-TYPES
1) Select the file demo-list-name.xml(ex.demo-list-1.xml) and click Upload file and import.
2) Will appear the “Assign Authors” form, select “assign posts to an existing user: admin” (or your main user).
3) Select “Download and import file attachments”.
4) Wait up to 5 minutes, when importing complete you will receive a success message.
THEME SETTINGS
1) Go to Apparence > Theme options > Customizations.
2) Open the file export.json with a text editor, copy all text and paste it into
“Apparence > Theme options > customizations > Import settings” area and click “Import now”.
REVOLUTION SLIDER
1) Install and activate the Slider Revolution plugin.
2) Go to Slider Revolution page and click Import.
3) Select the revolution slider demos you want to use and import it.
ASSIGN THE MENU
1) Go to Appearence > Menu.
2) Click on top tab “Manage locations” and assign the following menus: Header
Menu: main menu, Footer menu: footer menu, Top mini menu: top menu. Note that footer and top menus can not be inserted in every demo.
3) If you not see CSS Classes field go to top right button SCREEN OPTIONS and select it.
4) For icons menu you must select the icon manually.
5) For fullpage menu you must reset all the links.
