Hi, I notice that you’ve had only to releases so far. Is php 8.x also allowed or only 8.0? How about updates for the plugins like WP Bakery Page Builder? Is that only through updates with the theme, or do you have another option for that? And you mention a lot of Shortcode in the list of options.
With shortcode the actual text is not placed. But the input is gathered from somewhere else. That’s a lot of requests on a page… Are the pages not built with texts in the page? I’m a little confused by the shortcode .
In the supportvideo’s on YouTube there is NO video about Everlead. Or about WP Bakery Page Builder. Everything is about Elementor and Gutenberg blocks. So the how to video’s are not available for this theme?

The theme can be used with the latest version of WordPress and with PHP 8.0. The compatibility with other PHP 8.x version will be added in the future updates.
Bundled plugins do get updated with the theme, however, in case you need immediate update of any bundled plugin you can contact our support and they will provide you with the latest version.

Unfortunately, there is no video tutorial specifically for Everlead theme, however you can find the documentation and our Knowledge base in this link.

At the moment we don’t have an ETA when the update will come out, however you will be notified via email when the new update is online on ThemeForest.
Current version of the theme should work correctly with the latest version of WordPress and you should know that in case you need latest version of any bundled plugin you can submit a ticket at our Help Center or, if your support period has expired, you can contact us through this email (just add your purchase code in the mail) and our support agents will provide you with latest version.

This is usually due to the new block based widgets require more resources so please check this article about it here, also you can always try to Download and activate the Classic Widgets plugin in your site dashboard so that the plugin will disable all the blocks widgets function and bring back the old widgets option or remove all the widgets that you are using and add all the new blocks in the Theme.

Okay, I’ll email you with my update request but is this the “new” way updates are going to be handled going forward?
Also, you make this statement on one of your support pages: “In most cases, a plugin will work as intended and without causing any issues although there might be a new version of it available.”, which is not true because dated plugins cause major site vulnerabilities.
So since we have to wait for you guys to provide the update because the vulnerable plugins are bundled with the theme is it fitting to have us wait for more than a year for it to happen?

I really appreciate your responding to my questions.
My company purchased this theme to test for a client because of previous purchases from and your partnership with Qode but there’s clearly a difference in the ways you operate.
Instead of having to make email requests for updates, themes with bundled plugins we’ve purchased from them are updated more regularly and can be accessed via the Envato Market plugin, making the whole process quick and seamless.

Although your response is appreciated, we’ve decided not to update or continue to use the theme.
And, maybe it was a bit unclear but when a theme that has bundled plugins is updated through the Envato Market plugin, if it AND it’s plugins have been updated, those updated plugins will be available within the WP admin site, eliminating the need to email anyone ever.
In fact, for years that’s what we’d come to expect with Qode – regular updates easily accessed through the EM plugin.

After updating the theme I am receiving and error “block was affected by errors and may not function properly. Check the developer tools for more details” in the widgets area. I checked the Dev Tools Console and it said “DevTools failed to load source map: Could not load content…” Is there any way to fix this or should I reload a backup of the site? The front end seems to be fine. Its just when I go into the Widgets area.

Hello, Information just so you know and fix the issue for the next version. The image available for the meta data for socials does not work properly ( even with Rankmath extension )
I needed to add this line directly to the theme head.php to generate the correct image when we share our landing page.

Without that, the default image generated by this one : https://everlead.mikado-themes.com/wp-content/themes/everlead/assets/img/open_graph.jpg
If someone has the same problem, they can make a quick fix while waiting for you to fix it on the next version.

For the images and content of sharing (link, title, description, image etc.), you can install a third party plugin that is handling Open Graph protocol (like Yoast SEO).

HI, I see that the Everlead theme is listed in Themeforest as having been updated on Sept 3, 2021. I downloaded the theme files and updated the theme but am still showing that the Slider Revolution and WP Bakery Page Builder plugins still need updated. How Do I update these plugins?

What is the latest version of the theme and how can we update the theme? The JQuery upgrade by Wordpress has broken the WPBakery page builder functionality.
