I like it when themes offer choices in the layout configuration (menu on top or side, etc), but I don’t want users of my application to have this choice. I also want to keep my scripts/assets as compact as possible. In most themes, the only solution is to include all assets, having a struggle to find out which classes to add/remove and leave a lot of assets unused since the end user is not able to select specific features. The same is valid for unused dependencies for graphs/widgets/etc, when I don’t have a graph on my page for example.

Therefore, my question is: does your theme offer a way to minimize unused assets?

I have thoroughly tested the Django project following the documentation, and I have identified several errors that I would like to report:

1- The documentation lacks notes on installing certain libraries, which leads to failures when running Django commands. The missing libraries include: django-multiselectfield, social-auth-app-django, crispy-bootstrap4/crispy-bootstrap5, Pillow

2- The documentation should include instructions on creating a “static” folder at the root of the project, as defined in the settings.py file, to prevent a warning message.

3- The command “python manage.py collectstatic” fails if the STATIC_ROOT variable is not properly defined.

4- Numerous HTML references to JavaScript libraries contain incorrect paths. Specifically, they all have an extra ‘dist’ directory, which doesn’t align with the Gulp configuration.

5- The styles for buttons in the alerts are incorrectly defined when using the SweetAlert2 library. This leads to warnings and buttons lacking proper styling.

6- The module “moment.js” fails to load in the path ”/components/charts/apex-charts/area”.

I hope that addressing these issues will help improve the overall functionality and user experience of the Django project.

Hello, congratulations for the excellent work with this template.

I wanted to send this through support, but it timed out.

It’s actually a suggestion.

The plugins.js file of the template points to the files: choices.js and flatpickr.js libs that are inside the assets folder.

However, the way these files are included ends up harming when dynamically inserted.

Therefore, I suggest that the file paths are replaced by their CDNs. So developers won’t need to rewrite the template file.
