how do we add more social icons, when I try to add linkedin to the social media menu, it comes as text

Thank you for your interest in our theme. All overridable templates are inside: themes/geeks/tutor/ folder. Our theme provides an override for all default templates to match our layout. You can use a child theme and copy the templates you want to override and customise them according to your requirements.

You can update the theme can be updated in 3 ways:

1. Automatically: You can use the Envato Market plugin to update the Theme automatically. Instructions here: https://ibndawood.com/how-to-update-a-themeforest-wordpress-theme-or-a-codecanyon-wordpress-plugin/

2. Semi-Automatically: Sometimes, (1) does not work. You should download the latest installable WP theme zip file from your Themeforest downloads page and then upload it via Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme and upload the zip file. WP will backup the old Theme and install the new one.

3. Manually: You should download the latest installable WP theme from your ThemeForest downloads page, rename your current theme folder in wp-content/themes folder, unzip the downloaded WP theme from your Themeforest downloads page and upload it to wp-content/themes folder.

Please note that updating a theme will override any custom changes that you make to the parent theme. Hence we recommend using a child theme. A child theme is not meant to be updated and should contain only your custom changes. Also, we strongly advise that you backup your website and database before updating. It allows you to roll back the update if anything goes wrong after update.

I was checking the demo and found a bug.. If i login as student and then visit any my-account/* link then i cant access /dashboard/* inks from the sitebar menu. So reset password and some features not working while you are visiting my-account or woocommerce settings page.

Thank you for purchasing our theme and for reaching us. We are sorry about the delay in response. October 2 is a statutory holiday in our country and hence our support was offline.

You can monetise your courses using WooCommerce. You need to install and activate WooCommerce. Once you’ve done that, you need to create a product for the course. It needs to be a digital product and you can set its price. You’ll have to assign the product to the course.

hank you for you reply on the previous comment I have a lot of problems instaling the theme. All I wanted was a course site and some produts to sell. I messed up all the home page , I can´t manage to make produts apeear on home page too. I´ve already uninstal the the the and reinstall it again but it all looks the same. I don´t know if you have payed support for theme instalion at this point I´m about to give up on this one. Thank you

How to add Student dashboard and Instructor Dashboard in the theme and how to edit student and Instructor dashboard

Your requirement can be achieved only using custom code. Please note that while customisations are outside of support scope ( Ref: https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy ), we do help all our customers with customisation requests that do not consume much time and based on our availability. Sometimes it also happens that we are unavailable for custom requests or the custom request would take much time. Please be aware of this clause.

Video storage is not handled by the theme. It is handled by Tutor LMS plugin which uses WordPress’s media if you choose to upload the video to your server instead of to a third-party service.

Hello, in your demo there is no mobile cart icon? most users today are on mobile and I haven’t seen it

and why not just implement the profile picture icon and cart icon on mobile view header? than requiring people to contact support to do it, I feel it should be a fundamental feature on any theme to help better the UX of users
