Hello, I am looking for a suitable theme for my “Airbnb” project. Can anyone tell if this theme is suitable for it? I have the following requirements: - Landlords can offer their vacation apartment / vacation home for rent -Customers / tenants can book apartments through the platform -Calendar with occupancy schedule -Setting for landlords between direct booking or inquiry -Host Dashboard: overview of bookings / booking requests ; own apartments, and maybe incomes / fees -Hosts can register, but must be approved (fake check). -After approval, landlords can create vacation rentals themselves -The tenant must pay a service fee for a booking -The landlord must pay a commission fee for a booking. -Inquiries should run through the portal / dashboard, so that no secret, indirect, independent bookings take place, but the mediations can be tracked. -When a booking is made, the tenant should be invoiced directly with the service fee and offered the option to pay.

No, i am not referring any, i said, it will not work with Homey by default, you have to integrate it.

Homey is a valid topic but unfortunately it brings with it some unresolved problems even if reported several times:

1 – if you have many ads the search is very slow, it even takes more than 1 minute. Very serious because users abandon. 2 – if you access the ad placed in a section, you cannot select the presence of animals and by default the theme indicates the presence of an animal. 3 – if the host wants to add costs to the reservation, these additional costs will be paid to the site and not to the host. Furthermore, the guest during the payment phase does not see this additional amount which then ends up being charged. The guest thinks the site is scam.

When will a solution be given to these important issues?

Hi, I’m with you and with the assumption that I’ve been paying for years. It’s a question I’ve always asked but you don’t think is important. Instead it is very important because the site loses users since the search is very slow and the site appears to be a scam because it takes more money than it should from the guests.

I’d like to know how can we skip the instance page or maybe pay directly on the instance page when using Woocommerce ?

For the moment users have to fill twice their informations when trying to place an order : 1st time on the instance page + 2nd time on the Woocommerce checkout page, which is not logical and waste of time in the buying process.

Ps : yes I did open a ticket but still waiting for your help. I post here because I think this could be useful for others customers as well (maybe you should create a forum for your customers so you won’t have to answer the same questions)

After a booking is completed with payment, its not showing in reservations page of guests/travelers profile and not marking/blocking that booking dates as booked. Also not showing in admin dashboard reservations page.

What to do?

Hi, I have updated to the latest update and now I am having issues with user registration and login. When a new user is registered on my website and after activating their account by clicking on the link in email, they cannot log in on the website. Even after typing in the correct password, they get an error “The password you entered for the username user1234 is incorrect.” Can you please help resolve this bug? Just a little heads up, there is issues with Homey when you upgrade to 6.3. For example the ability to add photos to a property in the backend breaks (the add photos button disappears). I have downgraded to 6.2.2 and it now works again. Thank you.

Just a little follow on from this, when I sometimes click a listing in the backend to edit it, it loads and loads and won’t work until I try it a second time. I am also noticing that when I add some property photos it glitches out a little and might only add a few after being updated and I have to refresh and try adding the missing ones. Took me three updates to finally get all pictures to show on the page (there were 11 in total). Something doesn’t seem quite right… Perhaps I need to re-enable the classic editor or something? Not sure if the below errors are useful:

The update seems to be full of bugs! Suport has been useless. Same questions, over and over and no solution. Tickets get closed without solving an issue. 503 Error every time i try to update and save anything. Photos vanish. The issues go on and on. When will a fix be available??

did you check deeply the hourly theme ?

it is full of bugs, try it in a VPS and you will see; 1- the installation is hardly succeeding 2 – the logs is full of failed cron job and failed email delivery. 3 – the booking is not working for the hourly them, the transactions are succefully working but the code is not catching the event (configured the webhook successfully) 4 – the user dashboar has some unfinished part; like the id validation

please check it and solve all these, I am upset that it is visually nice but it is full of bugs

Hello, I am not looking for support, I am looking for a working product, I am a developer and I understand that bugs can occur. however, the code/them is not working properly. test it on a VPS and you will see the problems, if you don’t have time hire a tester… I am upset about this

Is there a way to turn off email notifications for new user registrations? Or to enable some kind of anti-spam feature for new user registrations? The system has us drowning in new user registration emails that are nothing but spam, which is not great.

Some suggestions for your next theme update.

For BNB owner site or vacation rental.

1. Can you please add Full Name and Phone Number option also in register form and request to book form.

2. When someone requests to book they fill in only the email and we receive only the email so can you add an option for renters to fill Full Name and Phone Number also in the request to book form and we should receive all (Full name, Email, Phone, Checkin-Checkout, Guests, Total amounts) in an email directly.

3. Can you make an SMS on inquiry or sms notification option for hosts and guests?

4. In the Custom Price section there should be an option to add weekend price and weekend days selection options like; Weekend (Friday-Sat) or (Friday-Sat-Sun) or (Sat-Sun). Also a minimum number of nights for that period or each custom period in the custom price field.

5. In the contact host form which is below instant booking, there should be the option of check-in check-out dates, and the number of guests (adults, children)

6. HTML email format with more options

7. Option for hosts to add/show a website link and phone number on the listing page or on the host profile.

Just these customization and your theme will be the best theme for vacation rental, bnb, or small rental hosts.

Please take these into consideration and make it available in your next theme update sooner.

Note: I do use your other theme, houzez.
