It does play videos from Dropbox
Dropbox isn’t suitable for streaming video and the theme does not support it.
Video storage supported: Wasabi, Dropbox, S3.etc.
Building a video streaming website requires a specific streaming service, rather than regular storage, S3 is compatible by using the following plugin https://vi.wordpress.org/plugins/amazon-s3-and-cloudfront/

My hosting doesn’t support ffmpeg, can I use the direct link… can you tell me which hosting does support it?
Without transcoding, you will need to upload the video in the mp4 h.264 format.
If you opt for either Bunny Stream or Cloudflare Stream service, then FFmpeg is unnecessary, and a shared hosting is good enough.

The more I use your theme, the more I’m beginning to like it. Also it seems to be working ALOT better than when I first installed. Encoding of videos just works now, it’s awesome. I have a couple of questions:
1. How to display # of VIEWS for each video as shown in demo? Videos can be sorted by VIEWS, but I don’t see an option to display them.
2. Can I change the encoding options to create 15 second previews of entire video instead of showing just the beginning?
3. The video quality selector only displays on desktop, how do I get it to show on mobile?
Also my PLAY button is aligned in the top left corner (desktop and mobile) for reasons unknown…Fix?
4. Where can I find more videojs skins? I tried a few I found online but they didn’t work.
5. Can I upgrade videojs to the most current version? 8.5.3… I think.

Hello, recently I started to get following error “Available temp directory space may be exceeded or the temp file was cleaned up before the upload completed.” while uploading the videos. This is dedicated server and I changed to default temp folder to a folder with no space restriction. Unfortunately, still getting that error. What else should I check?
I’ll add, that it get’s uploaded into bunny.net, but nothing on the wp side.
Would be great if I could from wp import that uploaded video.
I’ll also add that when video is uploaded I see the temp file in bfu-temp. I know that this folder got no size restrictions.
Looks like simple chmod 777 solved the problem. Completely no idea why everything was working fine, then suddenly some of the videos were uploaded and some some not. After chaining permissions no problems, no matter what video is uploaded.

Cloudflare offers fewer features with a classic dashboard. However, I believe Cloudflare has a stronger overall performance, Cloudflare supports live stream while Bunny does not.
Each service has its own advantages and disadvantages, so it’s advisable to try them out firsthand before making a decision.

Authors can choose specific videos to sell using points. The website owner can set a profit-sharing rate and earn points after the video has been sold. For example, if you set a ‘Profit Share’ of 20%, and a video is sold for 100 points, you would earn 20 points while the video author earns 80 points.
Regular members purchase Points through the Buy Points page using Paypal/Skrill/Bank Transfer gateway that you can set them up from the myCreds settings page.
Points are virtual currency and can be exchanged for real money through the Withdrawal page within the user dashboard.

After updating the theme to the latest version, while also installing the latest version of Better Message, after an hour or two, users’ “dashboard” and “settings” pages simply stop working. It displays the 404 error screen.
I don’t know why this happens.
It’s exactly like that! So, for the “dashboard” pages (https://DOMAIN/author/ANYUSER/dashboard/) to work again, it is necessary to re-import the configuration demo from the DAT file and uninstall the Better Message plugin.
I did that and just to satisfy my curiosity I installed the plugin again. Sure enough, after a few hours or three of the Better Message plugin installed, the site members “dashboard” and “settings” pages stopped working. I use a dedicated server and have now had to stop using Better Message. In fact I didn’t even use it, I decided to use it just to see how it looked and in the end I won’t use it because of the bug.
I hope that one day you will be able to officially partner with them to avoid problems.
