After updating to 1.7.0 the plugins alerts, application deadline, applications, resumes and paid listing all failed to update. – site is broken.
Deactivating, deleting and reinstalling the plugins fixed it.
Hi pkrol1, you have to update the core Plugin from 1.6.7 to 1.7.0. than the most problems are fixed. Henryk

After update to new version 1.7.0 the website lost some CSS – same in the wp-admin dashboard. Someone have the same issue?
Well, I found the issue. It seems after the update to new version, you need to activate the license again to update the plugin, but it’s not working. Just download the cariera plugin manually and it’s good

1) Employers would have to buy submission packages in order to post a job listing. If you need to create subscription packages you would need WC Subscription plugin which is not included with the theme.
2) No. This can only be achieved with the third-party plugin WPJM Visibility.

Thank you for your interest in Cariera.
No, you can not edit all page via Elementor. Pages such as single listing pages, half map pages can not be edited. Dashboard Pages use a predefine template so you would be able to partially edit them. So you can add/remove content within the dashboard with Elementor but not fully edit the whole page or shortcodes that are used within the page.
There are settings regarding private messages but not the popup. That would certainly require custom code.

The theme works as expected with the latest version of WPJM and is fully compatible. As for WooCommerce there are some outdated templates which require minor changes and it doesn’t affect the core functionality. This will be updated with the major update 1.7.0. If you believe that the outdated WooCommerce template will affect your site, you can open a support ticket and I will update them for you until the major update drops.

There is no official support for any third-party Zoom plugin. You can test some plugins and if you decide it works for you, you can add it into a page and add the page in the dashboard menu.

1) There is no social login built in the theme, but you can achieve this with a third-party plugin.
2) You can configure “verify account by email”. The user will achieve an email that has to be clicked in order for their account to get activated.

It looks like geolocation is not working on demo in desktop nor mobile version. Can the theme track current user’s location like yelp?

Yes, you can track users’ current location. Right now the demo is using OSM which is not so accurate, if you use Google Maps you will have a precise location.

The location field will receive the exact address that Google Maps will locate. There won’t be any indications in the map.

Hi, you have a great theme and im really considering this for my project. i have a few pre-purchase questions.
1. On your site you’re saying you offer “Submission Packages” -“Earn money by charging your customers to submit or promote their listing” etc
But after reading some comments here i got a lot confused. Here i read this can only be achieved by buying and extra plugin WPJM Packages. Is that correct? so your theme doesnt really offer “Submussion Packages” only the design for this?
2. Can you Edit/ Add Custom Fields for Job Listing and also add them in the search form?
3. Application Management.
On your presentation photo here in Envato i can see you use a star-rating system for applicants/applications besides the note. Does this exist in the theme? because in the demo i only saw a note system.

1) You don’t have to buy any extra plugin to create submission packages. WPJM Packages is for creating “pay-to-view” and “pay-to-apply” packages.
2) There is no field editor functionality in the theme. You need WPJM Field Editor to create custom fields for job, resume and company listing and Search & Filtering for WP Job Manager” to edit job and resume searches.
3) Yes, you can rate each candidate application via the dashboard.

Both themes use WPJM as a main foundation for handling the job board related features but you might experience issues with migrating the company listings, Cariera has a custom-built Company Manager system.

If you buy the theme and have issues migrating from one theme to another or decide you don’t like it, you won’t get a refund.

First of all, thank you for your interest in Cariera.
Switching themes will not have an impact on job listings and resumes, but the company listings will not integrate. Cariera uses a custom Company Manager system and you would have to export the company listings from your theme and import them to Cariera, after that you would have to assign each job listing to their representative company listing.
