Hello, Pagick! Is it possible to somehow make a general chat between all users? And when will the bugs be fixed and the update released?
Hello, does this platform have option for conditional forms especially when adding fields on profile? I’d need to make it more inclusive eg India uses a caste system but other countries don’t. I’d like to display caste options when user selects India and hide this when user selects another country among other types of conditional values I may need to create.
It would also be great if this is implemented in advanced search form too. Let me know if already available or possible.

Yes correct. You have to enter your purchase code in order to enable some functions. Please, go here in the theme settings: WordPress -> DateBook -> License -> enter your purchase in the field “Enter your purchase code”.

We purchased your theme as we run an agency/model networking site where agencies can contact models to work together.
Ideally, our models have no access to the search functions of the site, nor can they initiate conversations. We believe we can use PublishPress Permissions Pro to block access to certain pages based on user role, and we believe your plugin can handle the message restrictions.
Our main issue stems from the profile registration process. We have created an “agency” and “model” profile type, however we would like them to have different fields on their profiles that are based on roles. For example, models can list their height, weight, etc however agencies do not see those options. Instead they would see something like “Industries” where they could list which industries they work in, etc. Ideally this can all be done when signing up, but also editable under the “profile settings” form.
We do not see an option to add forms, despite the theme saying we can add, edit and delete forms.
Would this be possible?

Additionally, we have issues with the moderation panel no longer functioning. When any moderation tab is clicked, it simply returns to the homepage. We can see the moderation fields in the URL and we can see the amount of images and profiles awaiting moderation, however there’s no pop-up – just a redirect to the homepage.
Moreover, the ability to lock the search results and the profile mosaic on the homepage to display only models (females) would be wonderful. I believe this can be achieved with a shortcode property such as “profile_type=“model””, but you would know better than I.
Additionally, we require a way to gift subscriptions to agencies. We have existing paying customers who have already paid us, and we can’t seem to find a way to give them the subscription for free. Ideally we can control how long the free subscription is active for (1 month, 1 year, etc). We are using woocommerce to handle the subscriptions.

You can manually give a subscription for free to any profile. Do the following:
- Option 1 (recommended). If a profile has not subscribed yet.
- On the frontend (not in the WordPress backend administrator panel), Go to a profile page that you want to give a subscription to. For example: https://demo1.pagickthemes.com/profile/21603599383/
- Go to the Subscription page and select some subscription plan
- Option 2. If a profile has already been subscribed.

Yes the homepage is set in the WordPress – Settings – Reading. It’s a custom-built homepage with Elementor, if that matters. When selecting the “images” tab in the moderation panel for example, the following is visible in the URL: “datebook-moderation=yes&moderation-page=images” however it simply refreshes the page. Disabling cache did not work either.
As for gifting subscriptions – will this method still work if the subscription is a paid subscription?
Edit: We tested a 100% off coupon with woocommerce and entered it during checkout. This seems to have worked and will suffice for our needs.

Ah, ok. I see. Elementor. Yes, the moderation panel does not work with page builder yet. The moderation panel requires its own DateBook home page (not Elementor home page). But no worries please. In the next update the moderation panel will work with page builder too.

Yes, it is possible to restrict visitors to see only those profiles who registered on your website. Also it is possible to allow visitors to see profiles on your website only after they register.

Yes possible. Just go to a profile page. On the profile page, you can see the Administration Dashboard. Click on it to expand it. There you can find the buttons Activate and Unsuspend.

Hi. No, this is impossible to integrate zoom and booking plugins to profiles.
But you can create a page for them and use those plugins on those pages. Those plugins can use users only, not profiles. But this is not a good solution.

Solution: update the cache in your browser with CTRL + F5. Then, resave the theme settings.
Where would I find the mail settings? I have the SMTP set up correctly, but the login verifications emails aren’t sending now.
The email settings can be found on your hosting in the Email Accounts section. Go there Your hosting cpanel -> Email accounts -> create a new email account or open an existing one to see its properties (email account credentials):

just realized an issue with the latest version of theme. However the function in Settings -> Profile -> “Prohibit deleting of Profile images” is set to yes, users are able delete their image set as “profile image””.
Are there another setting that take afect on it or it’s a bug? Can we fix this by our part? It’s not ok, because registration and site usage is restricted to have at least one Profile image, but after register they can delete it. We don’t want to allow profiles without at least 1 image.

These plugins “Yoast SEO” and “Yoast SEO Premium” generated an error and did not open the admin page. I have corrected the settings in that plugin. I disabled “Profile”, “Classifieds” and “Tours” support.
Now, the error disappeared.
Please, note, if something does not work in WordPress admin area, it does not mean that the DateBook theme has bugs. The DateBook does not affect the admin area. We specially made the theme such way so that it does not break admin area and other plugins’ functionality.
But some third-party plugins do not care about other plugins and admin area.
It is pity that you blamed us for critical error, not knowing who is really guilty.

Oh. Your website is really physically deleted. WordPress files in the admin area were deleted.
Today, several hours ago, I corrected everything. Everything (theme and all plugins) was working and opening correctly. If something did not work, I would definitely write to you about the issue.
Now, you have to re-install WordPress. Please, do the following:
1) delete all files of WordPress, themes and plugins in the domain folder on FTP connection. Because there might be a virus among the WordPress files.
2) you may not delete the MySQL database if you want to save all profiles and users.
3) upload WordPress files again.
4) install WordPress.
5) do not upload other plugins. Because first you must be sure that the DateBook theme works properly. Only after that you can install other plugins.

Hello Pagick,
simulation of online presence doesn’t work correctly anymore for demo users. It worked perfect but after a while it shows continously “online” for every demo user. Disabling the “Simulate online presence” function doesn’t affect it. It appears even when it’s disabled.
With real users the online indicator works perfect.
Do you have any idea why it happened and what can we do to let it work properly again?

In the next updates, add an online indicator function for the user if he has accessed the site via mobile devices. Now only the online user indicator is lit, but if he is sitting on the site from a mobile phone or tablet, the same usual indicator is lit. It would be cool if the indicator changed its appearance.

I was getting tis message when entering my wordpress dashboard after updating and setting up subscriptions with WooCommerce. Your theme (DateBook) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this:
Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version. If you copied over a template file to change something, then you will need to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again.
Just ignore that message. WooCommerce always display that message if finds some change in its templates. This is normal. The DateBook theme has WooCommerce templates in its folder.

Install the WP Mail SMTP plugin. It helps to send emails. Nowadays, hosting servers do not allow to send email on simple way. Only SMTP connection is allowed.
