Pre purchase question:

I have a motorbike rental business with accommodation. I would like to setup several booking scenarios.

1st scenario would be daily motorbike hire (with the option of overnight accommodation)

I would then like to set up two packages

3 days @ €320

5 days @ €550

This is a “per person” price and the accommodation can sleep upto 6 people. So, for example 5 people could book the 3 day package and price would be €1600.

Is this something I would be able to achieve with your system ?

Homey not work 100% like your requirements, you have to make some changes to achieve this.

Hi, i see that this theme support multiple iCal for availability syncing. So if i use the ical links from both Airbnb & booking.com in this theme, which one the website will use first? Let say 1 customer buy from Airbnb, but no purchase on Booking.com for the same date, so in homey, which iCal it will use?

Hi, is the demo import feature will import all the contents, listing, images, layout, etc exactly as per shown in the online demo? Will the demo import also work on localhost? I’m asking because some theme developers does not include demo images but replaced them with only placeholder images.

Listing Images will not be include because of copy rights, everything else will be exactly like demos.

how about the license activation between localhost/staging & live domain? will demo import works on localhost and license can be move to live domain?

i have 2 suggestion to improve.

suggestion 1 : counterless holels or rooms.

1. Make an option for the host to choose pickup key at counter or couterless.

2. for the counterless (host doesnt meet customer), host should put the instruction for the customer to check in example, give the door access number, or can find the key below the vase. the instruction may be send after payment via email or sms.

3. for checkout, customer may click the button “check-out” and the system will clear the order. or if it can be done manually by host. Or for optional, after 24 hour, system will automatically checkout for that order.

suggestion 2 : voucher / discount

1. Give the super admin option to set the discount or voucher. the discount or voucher will be borne by super admin. This will be ad advantage to make a marketing.

Hi is it possible to have two filters for location. One: The user selects the city. Two: A filtered list of areas then appears? Currently there seems to be only one option.

there is no phone validation in contact form. Guest/visitor can input letters in the phone field

thanks . also, in your documentation. “Recommend image size 1440×900” does it mean the HOST can upload lower than the dimension?

I bought this theme years ago. Only now testing it. It is a good theme, bar a few fixes that need to be made as per below:

My suggestions of things to ADD TO THEME DOCUMENTATION ARE:

1. Booking Requests are not being received via Email. There has to be information available to troubleshoot this else a booking website is not able to do bookings

2. All Registrations, Password Resets etc to guests should arrive on their inbox “From Company Name”. Instead they arrive as “From Wordpress”. If not standard, documentation must exist for this so every company can have emails sent from their website as their company name

3. iCal Import works 100% fine. Ical Export does not work (does not synch out) and this must be fixed.

4. Become a Host: This Theme can do via a Button called “Become a Host” that gives a Pop Up window, and a Become a Host Page – works well

5. Login: This theme can do via a Button Pop Up ONLY. And it is not available to login via an actual page. If not available documentation on how to set this up should be made public

Like – Booking Requests do not arrive anywhere. Can you advise where is the setup for this to fix?

Anyone who registers gets a welcome email from “Wordpress” – can you advise what email system is so we can amend?

Hi, I’m having problems activating payments with WooCommerce, please note “Follow the WooCommerce Documentation the “homey-woo-addon” and “woocommerce” plugins are needed, this is in the theme settings but the plugin does not exist, what can I do? I need the possibility to insert a discount coupon…..

Not impressed at all by Favethemes support, with me first contacting them on Tuesday morning, (4 days ago), and us still having problems despite their support person making 3 attempts to resolve the issues we are having, and him not even responding by this evening to an email sent last night.

I wish theme developers would appreciate the problems poor support causes, (especially ones that seem to only reply once a day to support requests as Favethemes appears to do), with this week’s’ issues causing me to look for an alternative solution should another similar project come along in the future.

FYI, 23 days later this issue is not sorted out, with my recommendation being if you want a bookings theme/plugin that works out of the box and offers reasonable support, don’t buy Homey as us buying it has cost us a fortune and prevented a site/business launch.

It would not be as bad if somebody senior in Favethemes had got back to me, instead I’m being forced to deal with a support agent who it seems can only break the site worse, not fix it.

Please, somebody senior from Favethemes get back to me about this, that is unless you like costing people who pay for your theme a fortune in lost business due to your lack of support.

My total guests is 7+ 2 for £25 when a user wants to book let’s say for 7 nights for 9 people the 2 Additional guests would be the total of £50 X 7 = £350 but Homey gave me £300 Is there any souloution?

Is there possibility to sell add-ons while guest is making a booking of a room? Add-ons like, bonfire setup, etc. I do see selling experience is available but not all rooms in different locations might have other add-ons or experience attached to each room.

Hi, if i’m using the woocommerce payment, which demo should i look at? I want to see the checkout layout. Also is it possible for the user to book multiple items in single checkout? like 1 home items + 3 experience items in single checkout?
