I couldn’t wait… it’s 4 am, I went to try the live blog, they would have to do a tutorial, it’s not that easy but it’s optimal, maybe the update issue needs to be polished…Maybe you can make it update when you hit enter or update the post from the administrator. Or when you save even though you haven’t added anything. I tried it at 160 not 600 and it took a while to update on the reader’s side.But the idea is very good. It can be improved with future updates.- The live dot could flicker or have some effect.This weekend will be the litmus test with GOLDEN GLOBE

Please note that the theme has a minimum limit of 120 seconds, which combined with the built-in cache, helps prevent server overload during high traffic periods.

Hello, if I saw the configuration form, I tried 160 so as not to overload the server. and from the reader’s perspective it still takes a while to update.I have seen in other templates that when you press “enter” the post update appears almost immediately.I tried text and a photo.I would like the live button to flash, to be static.Once again I congratulate you.

We will consider reducing the limit minimum value in the next update to enhance the updating speed. However, please note that when you update a post, the action triggers a reload of the live blogging cache in server side. The delay experienced by visitors is dependent on the browser’s interpretation of the interval configuration.
To achieve quicker updates for users, we need to reduce the interval time in the settings. Please note that this is a limitation of the current code structure, as we strive to maintain a balance between features and server resources.

If you want I will send you the link to test live blog in another template that does not use gutemberg, maybe it will inspire you to improve the pluging or include it without using gutemberg.

Yes, what you explained to me I understood but there is information that I put when selecting the plugin such as Title and text (paragraph) that never appeared, however when adding text as a common publication it does appear. that is, outside the plugin.

Hi, I’ve run into an issue while attempting to edit the menu. Initially, I could use Elementor to tweak the menu items. Dear team hi!
I keep updating plugins and theme everytime there is a new release, but today i noticed a problem with TOC in posts. They looked messed up, like they were all in one row.
I checked the settings in Theme Options, they were alright (I even tried like the documentation) but they dissapeared!
They show in posts only when I enable them for each post seperately and they look terrible…. You can check the screenshot here https://prnt.sc/ej2ZCELJsu73 Of course doing it for each post isnt the solution.
I cleared and reloaded cache in my cache plugin several times, but this didnt solve the problem.
Do we need an update for this or its something else?

What are the basic requirements for importing demos? I have been stuck before with other theme as my hosting provider only provide me the PHP time limit and execution time of 120 seconds and 3000 for max execution time

I wish all the Foxiz support an excellent 2024. As I have seen many ask, I am going to ask again that you go back to the basic idea that was Newspaper/Magazine and not go solely to business as another asks below filling with sales add-ons.
While it is good to have woocommerce, Foxiz would like to improve the post editing and integrate more Advanced Custom Fields.
Being able to highlight “breaking news” and live posts.
Another necessary thing is to come preloaded sections, the home pages, and not have to go downloading to design, but as other templates that bring all the designs to download live and add to the home page.
I think that if you want a page to sell articles, look elsewhere not a News or Magazine template, there are many hibirdas that are dedicated to Woocommerce…
On the other hand to many plugins with which to convert this template into a sales page … and the one who sells has the money to buy plugins ….
So I ask for this 2024, that the designers of this wonderful template and enlighten them to end up being the number one.

Thanks for the great work and many Foxiz updates that bring us the opportunity to do business online and make money.
For the year 2024, I think that foxiz should focus mainly on expanding business areas and money-making opportunities. As a magazine, it is completely unrivaled and offers hundreds of functions. Now is the time to expand the scope to multipurpose use. For example:
1. Mailpoet or (Fluentform + Fluent CRM) support for automating newsletter sending. Mailchimp is ok, but it’s expensive and it’s outside of WordPress itself, so everything has to be done manually. This is better done from the WP admin.
2. Support and deep integration with Woocommerce – now it is such a base, but it would be good to bring more involvement so that Foxiz can be used as a full-fledged Eshop – for selling info products, virtual products, e-education.
3. Membership support – paywall is fine, but it is no longer sufficient in 2024 – magazine visitors want more for their money, more functions and personal communication, and most importantly a proper user account where they can find purchase history, communication, the ability to download some files… etc… just full membership…
4. Support of Learning managemet systems – for example Tutor LMS (also in the free version) or Sensei LMS, which is already 95% ok with Foxiz – both online courses can be sold using Woocommerce – e-learning is on the rise…
5. Front-end post submission support – in cooperation with Woocomerce to sell PR articles – it’s complicated, but it’s another way to sell content for money if you have traffic..
6. More templates for Elementor + Foxiz elementor library with templates such as (our team, about us, our story, contact, news, etc…)

A couple of comments for others users
1) Jetpack Stats works well with Foxiz, and takes the work off your database/server on busy sites.
2) I see lots of suggestions for new features, it would be great if people could suggest plugins for these features so that the team could style Foxiz to be compatible. I dont think we need them to spend hours coding new features, just to style popular plugins already doing the job.
