my first product image is like small and distorted or something, i cant til if its a glitch or not, how do i fix this?

We’ve detected an Image Display issue in the Ella Theme due to the recent Chrome update, where a short code attribute is no longer supported. Our team has promptly addressed this and released an update to the theme source on Themeforest.

You can follow below options:

- Update the theme to the newest theme version, we have already fixed this issue and updated for the theme.

We have settings to disable them on Product card. Please go to Theme settings -> Product card -> disable for Product action/ Product wishlist and Product Quickview as shown the below image:

Hello, everybody! I’ve noticed an issue, which might only exist in the demo, regarding the display and selection of color variants. On the collection page, I see different items, and one item displays six colors. When I select a color, the main picture changes to reflect my choice, which is great. However, there are two problems: First, when I move the mouse over the main picture (which already shows the picked color), it reverts to the default color. Can this be changed? Second, and more importantly, when I click ‘Quick Checkout,’ the default color is selected in the ‘quick checkout’ window, requiring me to select my desired color again. Is it possible to have the ‘quick checkout’ window display the previously chosen color to avoid reselecting it?

Thank you for your attention to Ella and for your two great questions. We have some feedback and clarification for you below:

Ella offers three different quick shop styles. On our demo – Home 01, we are activating Quick Shop style 2.

- For the variant colors on the product card with Quick Shop style 02: By default, the main product image will show the first image within your Product admin: https://prnt.sc/N5FFGk9eayWt

When you select a color to see the corresponding product image, it will activate as you want. When you move the mouse over the main picture, it will show the second image of that product (not the default color). If you want, when clicking on a color, the main or second image always shows the corresponding images of that color, it is possible to do, but it will require custom code to build it.

- For quick add styles 2 and 3: The colors on the product card are just for you to see the corresponding images of those colors. When you click “quick add,” it will not be related to the color you have chosen.

We only have Quick add style 1 to work as you want so you can use this option if you buy ella.

In the past, we have already done it like your logic, but it will conflict with other requirements from merchants where they cannot show the first image within Product admin.

These two functions you mentioned above are not theme issues. Maybe you have not known about how it works.

Hi Team can you please upload instructions on how to fix image display issues on Google Chrome? Moving to latest version of the theme is a complete headache which will take 30+ hours to reconfig and test. Thanks

Hi There hope you are well. Ive spent another $100 aud on renewing support and opened up a case. Ive managed to part fix, and am rebuilding website now. 3.5 hours in. There are a few issues here. Lazy load must be ticked in General Admin section before anyone start updating code. Secondly, it seems Microsoft and Apple rolling out updates as well. I think this issue is broader than just Chrome.

On the product pages and grid we would like for the vendor link to show/redirect to the collection instead (the vendor and collection with the same name/title). Is this a possible customization? Would you be able to do this customization for us or could you show me how to edit the code myself?

Currently, when you click a vendor on our theme, it will redirect to the collection page containing all the products belonging to that vendor.

Do you mean that when you click on the vendor, you will redirect to the collection with the same title/name as the vendor? If so, we can guide you or help you do it.

When I am adding Discount at Checkout it shows correctly. But when I come back to Cart page then only Discount heading is showing but no discount amount is showing. Is this any know issue with your theme

Even discount is also not showing on your demo product as well:

Add it to cart and then go to the cart page and you will see the discount section has Discount heading but no discount price is showing.

We want to add Video of product in product media. On product page this video should be visible on the second place of the product media. even if you have product variation then video of that variation should have to be on the second place. In addtion, if product have variation then the media gallery should be only visible for that variation.

Here is the reference product link “https://amzn.eu/d/3FKKs1Y” check this product; here you can see while switching on another variation of that product, the images are visible only for that perticular variation. And even video of the product is also visible of that product on all variation. In addition it stays to the second place, and first one is that product variation’s main image.

I purchased your theme it’s good and I wish to purchase second time but I have some problems

how can I customize your theme there is not a much-customized option or disable

1. not duplicate section or block

=> We are not quite to understand this. In our theme, you can add more than 1 for the same section or block within a page. Only blocks within a section which is set up for using only one within a section that will not be duplicated. So you can send us screenshot for this to verify with you.

2. not run a mega menu

=> Our mega menu function is working very well, if you are having an issue with mega menu, you can contact our support via https://halosoft.ticksy.com/ and we can check your setting or check your code.

3. Do not use two different menus in one header

=> You can use it very well, there is no limitation to use different menus in one header.

4. not to change the position of a block or section

=> You cannot compare shopify with woocommerce because they provide different ability in customization. If you are a developer, you will want to use woocommerce to customize it like you want, but Shopify tends to an easy to use platform for merchants.

The Shopify Inbox still does not work, and no proper answer was given as to why. To my knowledge, Shopify has made updates to how their Inbox app works, updating the liquid code for it and moving the admin panel into the theme. For some reason, Ella does not support this because I have tried other themes, and it works fine.

For those having this issue, you can always test it using a default Shopify theme, and you’ll notice it works fine. However, when you test it using Ella, it does not work. Please address this issue. Thank you.

It appears that there has been an update to how the Shopify Inbox works on stores within the platform. This update indicates that the Shopify Inbox is now integrated through the theme rather than the admin. However, this has caused an issue where customers can no longer view the chat widget on the online store. Please fix this as soon as possible. (ELLA 6.5.3 )
