I added all 3 music files. and i still don’t hear anything.. What can i do next to fix this?

Then you can setup homepage gallery using DK admin > Homepage

Hi, my gallery has stopped working and I can’t understand why. When used as a full screen gallery for any page, it just never appears now. It was working just a couple of hours ago and I’m not aware that I changed anything.
The following link shows the message I get when I try to view the gallery directly, can you help with this at all?

You have to create a page and attach gallery to it instead of directly link to the gallery.

Sorry, I can’t find the answer in the manual but I think I might have used the wrong terminology. Here’s another go at explaining my problem:
I am trying to have a “Slideshow” on my home page (www.simonallam.com).
I have created a gallery and named it “default”.
I have also created a page named “home” and set it as a static front page in the theme customisation. This page uses the template “Gallery Fullscreen” and has the “Slideshow” background style selected.
In DK admin > homepage, I have set the “Homepage styles” as “Full Screen Slideshow” and “Choose Homepage Gallery” as “default”.
Can you work out what I’ve done wrong?

It’s working now. I fixed it by reducing the number of pictures in the gallery. Is there a limit on the number of pictures (I couldn’t see one mentioned anywhere)?
Technically unlimited.
Right, I’ve narrowed it down a bit through trial and error. It’s not the number of files that causes the problem. Instead, it seems to be caused by specific files.
The problem is, I can’t find a common theme between the pictures that don’t work. They are all jpg’s created from the same camera using and the same processing software. Landscape or portrait doesn’t seem to be the reason.
Has anyone else had these problems?

Sorry did you edit theme code?
I only did minor font color code editing. I edited this several months ago & haven’t had any issues until recently.
Please revert to original version without code changes because the issue might comes from your modification.
Hi, I re-downloaded the latest version & replaced my DK folder with the latest update. I reset my cache & the main page background slideshow still does not display on mobile devices.
I’ve even tried changing the homepage styles to flip slideshow & stack image. Still no image displays on my home page using mobile devices – only a black screen.
On the page ‘Item Details’, you mention:
Custom Post Type, Unlimited Colors and Image Uploader etc.
This is incorrect, and in fact, could constitute false advertising. There are no unlimited colours because one cannot even change the colour of the font on the menus, which is a little bit silly.
Please can you let me know where to look to change the colour of the menu font and what the coding should look like. I have asked this before but no help has been provided.

Just switched to DK from a previous base WP theme and can’t set up homepage slideshow.

If I select previously created (with Shiba gallery plugin) galleries they do work; instead adding a neg gallery with just 6-7 images produces no effect.
All plugins except SlimStats are disabled. I also have problems adding in a gallery already loaded images from my library. tnx

And you have to upload new images for gallery.
I’ve been following manual since first steps but even doing so, newly uploaded images in gallery, ain’t matter size nor orientation don’t show up.
As you can see the only thing displayed is the back/pause/forward command and nothing else. Also checked wp-cache for permissions.
Getting out of clues. Hope you can help.
And I am sorry, what do you mean by sayin’ I have to upload new images for gallery? Can’t I create a gallery / image portfolio with pictures I already have in my media library?
Found the problem. Apparently image files carrying EXIF+GPS data hag the script thus not loading properly. Exporting again pictures w/out any exif solved.
Hi. Can this site be hosted on Wordpress.com or do we need to do self hosting? I am not a web designer, but computer litterate. Will I need to hire a web designer to implement the site for me? Or is intuitive and can be done by novice like me with some effort?

that’s what i did at first, but i have had no luck yet. i created a homepage with the template of fullscreen gallery, though i dont know what gallery to attach to it or what template is even the right one for a homepage video. can you please give me some more detailed advice? i used all the settings specified in the manual and haven’t got any positive results yet.

The latest version of theme which fix issues on Wordpress 3.5 is available to download.
Download from Themeforest > your account > downloads and replace all theme’s files and folders using FTP account with the new version.

Fullscreen video support only on homepage as you can see on demo site. You can set it up using DK admin > Homepage.
