Hi there ! Using Listeo, everything looks good ! But here is my question : My website is about rental only, Everyone can put their stays for free, I only take on commissions. Listings are not time limited either. Is it possible for the owner to pay only to feature their stay for an amount of time and they it moves back to the standard features ? Thank you

I have a problem with orders that come from “Rental Booking.” These do not appear as orders in WooCommerce (and I have approved them in my administrator), but when I try with another type of service (e.g., event booking), once approved, the order appears. We found a bug with the plugin Listeo Core.
It is causing problems with the Woocommerce checkout page when you add - a woocommerce coupon - WooCommerce EU VAT Assistant
Neither work until you deactivate the Listeo Core plugin.
FYI : – We have tested with all other plugins. Found no issues. – We have tested with other templates. No issues if Listeo Core plugin is deactivated. – We have tested Wocommerce Coupons and Aelia VAT plugins on other sites without Listeo and both work jsut fine. – We did this same test on another sub-site that does not use Listeo core in our multisite and both work fine. – We also reverted to your new listing-submit-package.php from the old one we prefer and this does not solve the problem.

It works on all our other sites. Only issue is with listeo core. But same with woocommerce coupons.
As you probably already saw we don’t use regular checkout for bookings, you don’t add booking to cart and go through checkout process, that is done programmatically when booking is confirmed, then system generates the order based on value of booking etc, and user gets payment link for the order directly. That allows us to use WooCommerce for various payment gateways etc but doesn’t make it compatible with every WooCommerce plugin, especially those who need “checkout” to do something
This is not related to bookings. This is in the cart and checkout pages when businesses pay for a listing.
We charge a specific listing fee. We added a coupon to promote our new directory. So, not related to bookings.
Can you disable Google Maps and reCapcha on pages where they are not used? eg. Homepage: https://ctrlv.link/DqUd recaptcha__en.js is loaded multiple times and it’s half a mb each..
I don’t know where it takes it from but it’s not correct, check in source view, recaptcha is loaded only once https://cln.sh/4HL2rsYy and only for not logged in users, as every has login/registration popup in a header it is loaded on every page but only once.

if you google “recaptcha mutliple request” it seems to be popular problem, even on this screenshot it shows different initiator, I’ll look into this
Changed from Google Maps to OpenMap and and disabled reCapcha and gained a whole second better speeds. Also your demo is very fast, do you use a caching plugin? And if yes, which one? Would you add some speed tips on Documentation?

Not sure if this is a bug or not, on Listeo Editor -> Add Listing Form,
trying add New Field “Categories” (type: Select Taxonomy) on
Rental (Field for type: Rental Type) and
Event (Field for type: Event Type),
but only able add this new field “Categories” either on Rental or Event only.
So if I am adding on Rental later on Event, this new field disappear from Rental but appear on Event and vice versa

You’ve done it again!! You just decided to change the layout of a section of the template and be damned your customers!!
This not only changes the look of our website and our entire theme, but it also forces us to now go look for the CSS we had placed for this section because it is now deprecated!!
In our case, we’re talking about the pricing tables.
This is so disrespectful to your customers. It’s plain arrogance. It’s also NOT how theme selling works. We paid for a theme that had the look and style the we wanted.
If you want to change the look of the theme we purchased, then make another theme. But you don’t get to decide to change the look of the theme we purchased and invested in just like that.
You don’t even update the changelog until later.
And before you say anything, we DID place a copy of this page in our child theme. But this has been overridden somehow.
So, kindly add the ability for your customers to use the original pricing tables for those of us who have invested in it.
This new one is dry, ugly and does not fit the theme’s look in any way.

Additionally, I would like to remind you that we’ve decided not to revert to the old design. It’s also important to mention that I had previously advised caution regarding updates on the live site. Testing on a development or staging site first is always a good practice to avoid unforeseen issues.

I will reinstate – if your position is to simply make changes to the theme, big ones, on one of our most important pages, without even giving your customers an option, then we will make a formal complaint.
It is wrong for you to decide, at will, that you can change the look of a template you sold. It is also unprofessional!
As for making changes in a staging site – well, that’s why professionals use the changelog. Because testing every little thing on a staging site is very time-consuming. With a clear, up-to-date changelog, we can decide if it is justified to spend that time on testing, or if its OK to simply update our live site.
So, to end this thread, if you decide not to give your customers the choice of using the template WE paid for, we will make a formal complaint. You are simply proving that we cannot trust you enough to proceed on a live site with your template. And that’s an expense of time and money we don’t need or deserve.
There’s no chance the child theme template was removed or overwritten during the update, so what’s more likely to happen is that you’ve put the template file in the wrong path, and it’s not being used from the child theme but from the parent theme. The template has to be in wp-content/themes/listeo-child/listeo-core/listing-submit-package.php. If you’ve updated the parent theme, that was changed in the original path.
I understand your position, but you can’t expect a theme to never change. Web design evolves constantly, and changes need to be made. If Avada was still the same theme as in 2012, no one would buy it.
We’ve received a lot of positive feedback about the new pricing tables design on the FB group and in tickets. I get that not all users have to like it, but it’s just one small part of the theme. You’re angry at us, but we quickly provided you with a solution to the problem and gave you clear instructions on how to not lose the ‘old’ layout anymore, even if your support expired 2 years ago.
But feel free to make a formal complaint.

There’s a difference between design and code. Code evolves. But design only needs to adapt. It does not need to be changed so drastically from the original.
No other popular template will impose such huge design changes to a template. They make alternative themes. They give the customer the option. We have Avada. They don’t change the look of a purchased template. They’ll adapt the design to the new code. But they won’t change the design the way you have.
You bang on as if this is a nothing-burger…changes seemingly small to you. But big to us. The customer. And why the heck would we put up with having to revert to old, outdated files every time you update the template???
We don’t need to keep this thread going.
We’ll leave our complaint and move the heck away as soon as we can. Because who knows what you decide to change tomorrow…Our website’s customers and visitors deserve more respect from us.

Filter works with some properties, for others it goes spinning forever and no page update.. Can’t figure out the reason yet. The ones not working are the same every time

I, as a super admin, can add / edit Region and sub-region? Which will be like suburb of a City !! And location and map will be picked up as per Region entered of that listing ? 4. Or ‘Friendly address’ field can pick up more precise location on the map and display in front-end to website visitors? 5. Theme is using ‘Mapbox’. But can it be take precise location using Google map as well? 6. What is limitation of adding photographs & Videos per listing?

Can I also filter the listings by “now open” or times, for example? So I only want to display experiences that are currently available (bowling alley is currently open), or I want to enter a time (e.g. 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.) and only show experiences that can be booked at that time.
It is possible but not as filter as it’s rather heavy sql query, but if you open a page like that https://listeo.pro/listings/?open_now=true it shows listings that are currently opened
