Do we need to purchase the Advanced Custom Fields PRO plugin separately? I’m unable to update it, as WordPress is asking for a license purchase before proceeding with the update.

No, my support has expired. I recently updated the latest theme changes, which included a newer version of Advanced Custom Fields PRO, though it is still not the latest release. The older version of Advanced Custom Fields PRO contains serious vulnerabilities, including an Admin+ Remote Code Execution issue. I have personally experienced a website defacement due to this vulnerability. I request you to take this matter seriously while updating the theme, or alternatively, consider using a different solution instead of Advanced Custom Fields PRO.

I am facing a serious security issue related to the Advanced Custom Fields PRO (ACF PRO) plugin bundled in the Webency theme.
Timeline:
25 Aug 2025: My website was hacked and completely defaced (Dentoto logo/content). Cause: outdated ACF PRO bundled with the theme.
I restored backup and sanitized my website.
15 Sep 2025: After updating the theme to the latest version and reactivating ACF PRO (from your package), the same hack occurred again within hours. Once I disabled ACF PRO, the hack stopped.
Technical details:
Known critical vulnerabilities exist in outdated ACF PRO versions (e.g., CVE-2023-30777, affecting versions < 6.2.7).
The copy bundled in the theme is not the latest release.
Without a valid license key, customers cannot update ACF PRO directly from the vendor. This creates an unacceptable security gap.
Questions for you:
Can you confirm if the ACF PRO copy bundled in this theme is a legitimately licensed distribution from the official vendor?
If yes, what is your plan to ensure timely updates between your theme releases?
If no, please provide an alternative secure solution or remove ACF PRO from the package.
Please treat this with urgency. My SEO campaign and 60+ blog posts are already at risk due to repeated compromises. I disabled outdated Advanced Custom Fields PRO plugin and that’s why my UI is affected. I am sure other buyers may also be exposed if this issue is not addressed.

Hello, As other customers reporteed I am not able to edit the service page. I tried to edit through elementor >> Element Manager but edit button is disabled. Can someone help me to solve this issue please.

By the way Elementor doesn’t allow to edit archive pages without their premium package. What can you do? Thanks for your reply. Yes, I can edit widgets starting with “TJ” using Elementor, but the changes I make apply only to that particular page. If I use the same widget on another page, I have to make the changes again.
For example, if I update the address in the TJ Contact Info widget on Page A, the change does not reflect on Page B. I need to manually update the address again in the TJ Contact Info widget on Page B.
Am I doing something wrong, or is there a way to make the changes apply globally?

Actually, speed optimization is a big part. After buying themes, you may need to ensure good servers, cache, CDN, image optimization and can use other premium optimization plugins to speed up the site.

Please there’s another issue I’m facing. On the team style, I’m unable to edit the sub-title. I mean on the Meet out team section. When you move mouse on a team member it shows the name and the position and the socials icon. I’m unable to edit the position but I have edited it on the team member profile page using Elementor.

Demo 3 has not been imported as I requested. I’d also like to know why it wouldn’t import as I’d also like to be able to experiment with the demos to see what I like but now cant as I don’t have the ability to successfully import myself! Can you explain why I can’t do what the theme offers in regards to the demo setups, otherwise I’d like my money back.

I’ve resolved the too many requests issue with my host. Now that I am able to access the site after being locked out due to my username not existing resulting in too many request block, I am in the admin and see that there are all the demo pages. Not been a great experivence with this theme so far. Hopeful it will get better!

I unfortunately cannot edit the Services page, neither in Elementor nor in the Customizer. For me, it only shows ‘Edit Item’ and when I click on it, I still can’t change anything; the content remains the same even though I have deleted everything. Is this due to the ‘Advanced Custom Fields PRO’ plugin? I don’t want to use the plugin because it costs money, and I don’t understand why I would need it now if I only want to show and describe what my service is.

We imported the demo but all the pages(except home) are showing 404 error when we are using “post name” permalink setting, and the pages are working fine when the permalink setting is “plain”.

Very Bad experience with this theme while implementing same. We followed every instructions as provided in the documentation but it still throwing same error like – “[ERROR] Failed to import ‘scrolldown’ (Media)”, while trying to import any of the demo template. This template is really not working as expected. Please fix it as soon as possible.
