Hi there,
I bought this theme and am trying to install on a brand new, clean copy of Wordpress. The theme installs okay, but as soon as I import the demo content, the site stops working (just get a spinning wheel on the front page instead of loading) and I can’t load Elementor editor at all.
I really need the home page setup, and can’t seem to get there without the demo content. Are there instructions for how to recreate the Home Page like the demo page manually step by step? I know that whatever the problem is will probably just happen again, but if I were building one step at a time, at least I might be able to identify where the problem is happening!
Update: if anyone is having the issue I was having, I tried manual install of the demo content, using the files in the theme download, instead of using the ‘One Click Demo Install’ plugin, and had better luck. The theme is almost working right at this point!
New question: When I update the logo at the top of the website through the Appearance menu in Wordpress, the logo shown still says ‘GameStorm’ When I Inspect the element, it appears to be pointing to a file called logo in themes/img/logo. I can’t get it to update no matter what I do! I even tried just uploading the image I want to that location, but the sizing isn’t correct. Any help on this would be appreciated!

Hi, how can i add a new button to the Home page right next to the “Explore our Games”? I am trying with Elementor but i can’t edit the Hero Banner. When i drag the Button there it goes straight down. Do i need Elementor Pro? Thank you.

I’m horrified, so little customization in the theme. It’s a nightmare.
How could you make a theme with a left sidebar menu and just duplicate the main menu there? What were you even thinking? Why is that left sidebar even needed then? This is terrible. Absolutely no settings.

Hello, I have a child theme and a parent theme, with the child theme currently applied. I need to modify the shapes in the breadcrumb.php file located at wp-content/themes/gamestorm-child/inc/common/gamestorm-breadcrumb.php. However, the shapes are actually located in /wp-content/themes/gamestorm/assets/img/abs-items/bubble.png.
To change the shape, I created the same folder path in the child theme and replaced bubble.png with my own image, but the change isn’t reflected. Could you please explain why this is happening?

Alright. So the import demo will either complete with an error of ‘game media import failed’, but it will have failed completely as no pages or posts, etc. are imported.
I have made sure that this matches my server settings:
max_execution_time 180
memory_limit 128M
post_max_size 64M
upload_max_filesize 32M
max_input_time = 60
max_input_vars = 3000Nevertheless, the demo fails to import.
I removed WordPress and did a fresh install. Still got the error of ‘game media import failed’, but it finally imported the rest of the demo content.
