All assets come from the Shutterstock. The easiest way to locate them is to download them locally to your computer from the WP’s image library and use Shutterstock’s Search by image feature.
Depending on the number of images, you can then license them individually or get a subscription.

Ah good idea. Thank you so much.
All of a sudden the website is doing funky things, like the columns don’t go in columns. The pictures in the slider don’t show up. The theme plugin is updated but when I try to upload the theme files, as suggested above, it says the link has expired. Note that I used a new download of the Wordpress files to upload. I am happy to renew support if you have an answer for why this is happening. I also use Music Club (on 3 sites), Kosa and Organic Food and they work fine. THX

Can you please tell us which theme version are you using?

As the first step, please update the theme and bold Page Builder plugin. To update the theme you can use one of the methods outlined here: https://boldthemes.ticksy.com/article/7123/
Also, make sure to update the Vox populi plugin once you update the theme – their version should always be in sync.

Still, the page markup seems as if the main theme, theme plugin or Bold Page Builder have not been properly updated to the latest version.
It seems like it is the theme – if you look into /wp-content/themes/vox-populi/bold-page-builder/content_elements/ you will notice that you have bt_bb_row folder which is missing in the latest theme version. You need to delete it.
The best option is to either completely delete the current theme folders and files and then upload the new ones or update the theme from the wp-admin which basically does the same – removes all existing folders and files and uploads the new ones.

Great theme, easy to customise it. One question regarding embedding PDF documents in posts. I never used a plugin for this, from what I saw a popular one is https://wordpress.org/plugins/pdf-embedder/ Do you know if is compatible with this theme?

We haven’t tested the plugin with the theme, but based on the plugin’s documentation it seems that you embed the pdf by placing the short code into the post’s content, so we see no reason for any conflicts or major problems.

Presale question. I’m interested in this theme, I’ve checked the https://vox-populi.bold-themes.com/candidate/home/home-02/ demo, but somehow the main image don’t scale down nicely on mobile, seams that the images is cropped. Is this ok?

Bold Page builder offers the option of setting a different image (or completely different layout for that matter) for a specific section on different screen sizes.
We haven’t done that on this specific demo. The same image was used for all layouts / screen sizes and thus the impression that it does not scale on mobile. It does, just its object-fit css property has been set to cover.
You can set it to contain and even have different images for different resolutions if that is your choice.

If you are experiencing issues with page layouts on your site after the Bold Page Builder update to version 4.9.x make sure to update your theme and all packaged plugins to their latest versions – https://documentation.bold-themes.com/changelog/vox-populi-changelog.txt
Theme and plugin updates should resolve the layout issues.
You can use one of the following methods to update the theme: https://boldthemes.ticksy.com/article/7123/
If you choose to do it manually, using FTP, make sure to delete all old theme files as some of them are removed in the latest versions of the theme and they may create conflicts if left on the server.
Of course, remember to clear your server cache if any.

In order to accept donations you need to set up a third party payment provider that supports them, such as Stripe – https://support.stripe.com/questions/how-to-accept-donations-through-stripe or PayPal – https://www.paypal.com/donate/buttons
Once you set it up on third party provider, depending on their functionality you will have a range of options for integration with your website.
For example stripe offers so called stripe payment links https://stripe.com/payments/payment-links which allow you to link buttons directly from Vox Populi’s donation page – https://vox-populi.bold-themes.com/candidate/donation/ to respective pages on Stripe for different donation amounts.
There is a similar solution on PayPal as well.
Apart from this, you can use their embed widgets by placing them on the Donation page using raw bold builder’s HTML element. So, it all depends on the third party payment provider you choose to use. They are all compatible with the theme as they do not require deep integration apart from linking or embedding the widget.

Issue with the Image element. Does not seem to respond to the Size presets, nor the Height setting, and source files of different dimensions are not resized to one uniform size as desired. Having lots of problems.

When setting the sticky header to Transparent Light, it appears as Transparent Dark on the homepage and Transparent Light on all other pages. How to render correctly on the homepage?

Here is how the Setting generally work
The settings in the Appearance > Customize panel are global, meaning that they influence every page on the site by default. On the other hand, you have an option to override these settings on a per page basis. If you take a look at the bottom of the page edit form, you will notice the Override Global Setting part in Settings Section – here you can override global settings for every page.
You probably have a sticky header related override (and some other overrides) set on the home page and it causes the problem. Try removing header related overrides on pages with issues.
If this is not the case or it does not resolve the issue, please submit the ticket at our support site – https://boldthemes.ticksy.com/ together with the site url and wp-admin credentials and our support team will take a closer look at it.

Thanks, this worked! Please note this behavior was a result of the “Alternate Logo” override on the Home page, so changing the header style setting is probably undesired behavior for that override.

You can find the menus at Appearance > Menu panel. It seems that in the demo import Home is set up as Custom Link leading to https://vox-populi.bold-themes.com/party. Please remove that item and instead of it add Page item referencing you desired page. Or you can just change the url of the existing Custom URL item.

What I am saying, I need Demo 02 that you have promised on the theme page, and I don’t have it. I have tight deadline to finish the website, so I purchased this theme so I can import Demo, change text and have website finished now I have to start learning the theme so I can make homepage lookalike a Demo 02 party homepage and I am waisting my time.
My problem is not a menu, I will most definitely adjust it as I need, what I need is Demo 02 Party page that I can use as a homepage and now I don’t have it!

Hi, after the WordPress 6.2 auto-update the theme broke with Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 12288 bytes).... I cannot login in even into the wp-admin but only when I rename the theme via FTP. Any help would appreciated.

There is no tutorial because there is no separate slider builder. We are using our page builder (Bold Builder) to build sliders. Slider items are just ordinary content elements with some specific options. If you have imported the demo, you can reuse demo sliders, e.g. copy slider content element and paste it to some of your pages and modify the content. Okay we’re trying to use the Smart Slider included with this theme. None of the Demo pages came with a Slider in the header which you have to admit is fairly common. We shouldn’t need a ticket for such basic use of a Wordpress theme. We’ve built the slider we’re just trying to understand how to put the slider in the Header. Thanks.
Also we’re trying to get the Smart Slider to replace the header image where the Logo and Menu appear exactly as they do above the Image header in your demo. We keep ending up with a ton of space above and below the slider, which is why we think there should have been instruction for using the included Slide with your theme.
