Unsubscribe, forward to a friend and online version links are available in most email campaigns management services such as Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, etc… To use view online version link without such service you need to host version of the newsletter online and change href value to the online location of that version.

Thanks for purchasing Fresh Newsletter. As far as I am aware currently there is no way in ThemeForest (except for WordPress themes) to get notified when new version or update is made. You just have to check items from time to time to make sure you have the latest version.

Current version of Fresh is v1.3, but the only difference between v1.3 and v1.2 which you have is the help documentation. There were no changes made in the newsletter files.

The images should be showing properly, if you can’t see them in the help file please make sure that you extracted the files and that you didn’t move the .html file away from it’s images folder. It’s meant to be opened in the browser. If you still can’t see the images please send me a screenshot of how you see the page to gifkynet {@} gmail.com

Many thanks for your quick reply to my query in not being able open the help file with pictures. I have unzipped this and all is ok.

I initially inquired as to the ability to use this template in Sendblaster which you were kind enough to reply to as well.

I have opened one of the templates as an Html file in Sendblaster and sent a copy to myself using outlook. Unfortunately it does not seem to render correctly either in Senbalster or as an outlook mail. all pictures and backrounds do not show.

I can forward a screen shot but am not sure how to on this thread.

My apologies for bugging you however I am obviously doing something wrong!

In order to use the template in any email service which doesn’t allow you to upload your images with the template (such as Sendblaster) you need to host the image on your website, here are the steps:

1. Choose the color theme you want to use and upload the included “images” folder to your website via FTP.
2. Open the layout HTML file using any text editor and convert each image path to full absolute path for example from “images/logo.png” to “http://yourWebsite/newsletter1/images/logo.png” that can be done quickly if the text editor you are using has “find and replace” feature so you can find all images/ and replace it with the path of the images folder hosted on your website in the previous example that would be “http://yourWebsite/newsletter1/images/”, If you are using Windows Notepad just press Ctrl + H to open the “find and replace” window.

Now images should appear fine in Sendblaster.

When you are editing the email in Microsoft Expression Web you need to make sure that images which need to be aligned left or right of a text has in the HTML code the “align” attribute like the default images of the template, in Microsoft Expression Web if you click to align an image to the left or right of text the program will add a “float” to style of the image which is not supported by many email clients.

About the font size, make sure to specify the font-size in those TDs which the text appears to be bigger in them, like that:

<td style="font-size:12px;">text</td>

Do you see the problem in the original newsletter code before any modifications applied? If you have edited the newsletter in any HTML editor send me copy of the HTML file to gifkynet {@} gmail.com

Thanks for purchasing Fresh Newsletter. In the “read more” button you should place the link to the website where you have more information/full article etc. If you place all information in the newsletter then you don’t need to use “read more” option.

Thanks for purchasing Fresh Newsletter, it’s best to edit it in the email program/service you are using so you won’t need to deal with the code.

If you want to edit the newsletter then import it to your email program, you can use any free WYSIWYG HTML editor such as Mozilla SeaMonkey and you won’t need to deal with the code.

If you want to deal with the code, basic knowledge of HTML is enough, here are some great videos.

It should open, the folders are not visible so make sure to click on the “eye” sign next to the color theme you want to view (as shown in the documentation).

Thanks for purchasing Fresh Newsletter, just search for <body only as the “link” & “vlink” values may change from color theme to another, and edit it as mentioned in the documentation.

Will update the documentation shortly since Mailchimp has changed the upload instructions, here are the new steps: Go to Mailchimp, In the Dashboard click on My Templates button, Code Your Own, Import Zip File.

Following the previous steps should make it work in Mailchimp without errors
