Hi, if you’re using the newer Journal 3.2 demos they should come bundled with all headers available in all demos so just change the active desktop header in Journal > Skins > Edit > Header… (similar to the one used in Demo 5).

Pre-Sale question. I’m thinking of using Journal beta for my next project, but I want to use a theme that is using the latest JQuery and Bootstrap CDN and/or server hosted files. Your new beta themes are using JQuery 2.2.4 and bootstrap doesn’t have a version number.
Can you please confirm if the theme will accept JQuery 3.7.1 and Boostrap 5.3.

Hi, currently it is not possible to change them, especially Bootstrap since Opencart 3 is based on an older Bootstrap version. We will consider updating these libraries to latest versions in the future.

every time i get to the admin panel and go into Journal settings, it prompts me to insert envato username and purchase license. Every single time. Is it intended like that or it could be a bug? And after i click save, it allows me to go trough the settings. It’s the same place where you insert them to import a theme. Update: by every time, i mean every time i login into the admin panel. Not for every setting i want to access.
Also, there is no TikTok icon available for social media icons. could you please add it or at least give us the option to upload them? Big part of the marketing is done there these days
Hi, we require the username and purchase code for demo export as these are available to verified buyers only.
You can just export all demos one by one and have them locally in a folder to try out.
We have added a TikTok icon in the new Journal 3.2 theme, or you can follow this guide to add custom icons to your own pack.

maybe i’m not explaining myself well enough. I know you require the username and license code for theme import but for me, it asks them every time i log in the admin panel and try to modify Journal settings. Not theme … settings. Every time i go into Journal admin panel, it asks me the username and license. For example, i logged in yesterday to setup my site. I wasn’t finished so, i logged in today again and the Journal asked me the username and license again.
That is not possible, not in your own admin, that is only required in our demo admins, not your own setup.

How can I change the font to H2 in the module’s Block Title? I’ve changed combinations, but it only outputs H3. 3.2.0-rc.100
Hi, the modules title is rendered as H3 for all modules in Opencart. However, in the CMS Blocks module you can just leave it without a title and add the actual title in the block description as an H2, you have full control over your HTML structure in the block content editor.

Scrolling on a mobile carousel is awkward. I turn off the carousel and the last elements stick to the left. How to make them in the center?
That’s right, html content cannot get the styling of the module title, however you can recreate that style for the h2 tag in the Typography style in Journal > Styles > Typography > [Your Active Style] > Headings > H2…
We don’t understand about the scrolling carousel, perhaps you can show a link or example so we can test.

I tested your template Demo 7 / Variant 1 at the link https://www.journal-theme.com/beta-v32/n7/ on PageSpeed Insights, and the results are not great. The performance of the mobile version is below 50 out of 100, and the performance of the desktop version is below 60 out of 100. The question arises: do you plan to improve the speed parameters of your templates and system? Because for SEO promotion, the current statistic is quite poor.

Strangely, I accessed the admin panel of your demo, and these features (webp, Defer Javascript, HTTP2 Server Push, and others) are already enabled in the settings, but the scores on PageSpeed are still below average(
Mobile version is below 35 out of 100, and the performance of the desktop version is below 60 out of 100. For the mobile version, this is very bad, especially if you plan to use Google Ads and SEO promotion.
I also installed this demo on my server https://amoris.dev enabled all the options in the Journal settings, and the PageSpeed scores are almost the same as on your demo. This is despite the fact that my demo does not yet include some of the images that affect speed.
I really like your template and its variety of settings and customization, but you urgently need to do something about the speed performance of the template.
Like I said, new demos are not fully optimized yet as we are still in the process of finishing all variants.
Once we complete the design we will optimize all images and activate all the performance tools.
However, that will not guarantee a high score necessarily, and other individual sites will be dependent on their local optimization and not be the same as any demo.

As work continues on the Journal 3.2 demos, it would be awesome to have a super basic plain vanilla demo that didn’t do EVERYTHING but rather only the absolute basics. No sliders, no images except placeholders, no fancy popups, just the raw basics to use as a building block for people who prefer to start from a cleaner slate but not necessary a totally blank slate. Hopefully this makes sense. Anyway, thanks for all the hard work on the best Opencart theme ever made!

Currently all demos container all other modules used throughout all others. While this will increase the export file size we feel it can be useful to have all headers, footers and all modules already in place for easier access. We may change this in the final release though.
As for placeholder images, demo images are not included so you should already see placeholder images in any demo (or variant) you import.
With that said, what exactly do you have in mind, can you show some examples of a basic demo? Each demo can be stripped down to just a few essential modules, or you can also go through Journal > Modules > ... and simply delete all of them and just recreate from scratch.

I guess the real issue is that I spend a LOT of time trying to figure out where in the Journal Admin to find some setting I want to change on the front-end. Not sure if this is possible, but if from the front end (and only available to admins if they are logged in) a hyperlink appeared (maybe when hovering over a particular element e.g., menu, slider, banner, etc) that they could click that would take them directly to the actual area in Journal that controlled that element… it would be a HUGE help in administering changes and a massive time saver. At least, it would be a big help to me. 
I believe you are referring to the already available Journal Editor, you can activate it in Journal > System > System > Journal Editor…

We are using the “Journal v.3.2.0-rc.100” version of the theme installed on the version of OpenCart Version 4.0.2.3 and we have sent an email to the developers, but we have not received any reply.
