Hi, I just wondering how the “multi-site” works. I understand we can choose “muti-site menu” and setup the differnet landing page and menu.
But is there any way that we can “link” a product to a particular “site”?
Like if people viewing Women cloth, it will automatically link to the “women site”, while “men cloth” link to “man site”.
Is this supported or not possible for this theme?

It seems like you want the website to automatically redirect to the Women site when clicking on a product that belongs to the Women category.

This problem has happened before, the reason is that the latest update of Chrome has added a short code attribute that is no longer supported, then Chrome updated this attribute again and we have promptly fixed this error from Ella 6.5.4 onwards. But it is not clear why they added this code attribute again and it continues to cause errors for sources from Ella 6.5.4 and below.

Combined Products Listing is a feature included in the theme from Ella version 6.6.1 and above. Therefore, if you update to the latest version of Ella, you will be able to use the Combined Products Listing feature without using the app.

It will relate to Shopify store, not from our theme. But as far as we know, there is no maximum product limit on Shopify. You can upload as many products you want.
However, there is upload throttling once your store reaches 50,000 products. After 50,000 products your store will only be able to upload 1,000 products per day.

I have been using the theme for the past 2 years. My support has expired. I will appreciate if you can help me out here.
Firstly, I am trying to update the theme. When I try to copy and paste the old settings from my old code to the new code, I get an error. I have resolved all the errors you mentioned in your video, but another error says Invalid JSON: EOF while parsing an object at line 3591 column 1. Please let me know how to resolve it.
Secondly, when I open my website on mobile, the hamburger menu icon, on some devices doesn’t work and upon clicking it, the shop page opens which contains all our products. I want the menu icon to work properly and also this page shouldn’t be opening. I have read about it on the internet but can’t find a solution. Please help.

Thank you for the reply. It solved. I could manage it. Now another issue happened, it is regarding mega menu. I wanted same menu like home 6 super market. Same categories drop down and shop by categories on the left side of the banner. How can i do it? Is there any option to import its demo content?

Hello I have a query related to sections.
1. I noticed there are variety of section used in demo layouts and also noticed there are different configuration files as json of index pages of each demo so i want to know how can we use particular section of one demo in another demo setup ? For example i liked the design of default home layout overall and now i want to use some section designs used in other demos then how can i import those into default one ?
2. Its related to 1st Q as well somehow, does your theme contains all of the sections templates used all demos or each demo’s json file comes with its own sections ?

Each demo will have a separate Json file, when you import the Json file, it will contain all the sections of that demo.
We do not provide Json for each section, but you can completely add sections of homepages to a specific homepage.
If you do not know what the section is called, you can provide us with a screenshot of that section, we will guide you to add it.

Hello! I bought this theme about a year or 2 ago but I never ended up making a site with it because of one main issue… I’m considering renewing my support and making a site with it now, but I am concerned about that same issue, so I want to check with you to see if that issue still persists before I renew.
Main issue was this: i liked one of your demo home pages, so when I selected the demo version to work with, it was then called a “Child theme”... But when I did that, what seemed to happen is that all of the different nice looking product layouts and category page layouts and other beautiful options etc that your demo displays… were not available to me. I was limited to only the one product layout which was used in that child, which did not look nice for my items, and also limited to the one category page in that child… but your demo shows a myriad of options and much more beautiful layouts.
At the time I was so frustrated I gave up on Shopify completely and just bought a wordpress theme. But now Facebook ads are requiring shopify… so I am again shopping for a shopify theme.
I will be deciding this purchase decision in 2 days so I hope to hear back form you soon.
If I choose to work with your Ella theme again… How can I make it so that I can have the home page of the child I like, but then choose the nice looking product page from your demo selections, and choose a nice looking category page from your demo selections , and other options I like from your demo, without being limited to the very narrow choice given by the one child?

Regarding the use of the Ella theme and child themes: In the past, we included child themes in the Ella theme package for free to assist customers looking for a niche-specific design without using the main Ella source.
However, managing child themes alongside Shopify’s technology updates has been challenging. Therefore, we decided to stop updating them and instead, developed some high-quality child theme layouts directly into the Ella theme source (only homepage layouts).
Could you please let us know which child theme layout you love? We can check if it is currently available in Ella.
We have removed some outdated child themes and retained the best ones.

Why have you taken the ability to have the description not in the tabs and a non formattable short description with three full stops that do nothing? These seems really silly?
