We will try to answer to questions which apply to Madelyn theme.
1. Once you import our demo content you will get all the pages and settings which you can adjust to your needs. There is an option to import just just individual pages, however, there is no option to import just certain sections.
2. You can set up the homepage as explained in this article.
3. All of the features showcased in the demo and listed in the Theme Features list can be achieved with the theme options, custom shortcodes by the theme and free version of Elementor. For a more detailed overview of theme’s options please check the documentation in this link.
4. When it comes to adjusting url customization, you can find more info in this article.
5. There are many ways and tricks for improving WordPress site speed and you can see our recommendations here. A good hosting server is also very important for the site’s performance and you can see our recommendations regarding those in this article – Recommended PHP Versions And Resources And How To Set Them. We always give advice to our users in support tickets when they build a site in our theme, what steps they should take in order to improve the speed.
6. Plugins included with the theme are listed in the Theme Features list. As we previously mentioned, the demo is made with free version of Elementor. The Elementor Pro is not required.
Unfortunately there is no demo content version built with WPBakery. Theme uses Elementor as page builder and the demo content is built using this plugin.
The theme is compatible with WPBakery, and all of the theme’s shortcodes are also available with this page builder, so you can use it to build your content from scratch. However, this plugin is not included with the theme and if you wish to use it you need to purchase it separately.
7. The theme is compatible with Contact Form 7 plugin and they are working correctly.
8. You can use video backgrounds which are on autoplay. The video on mobile is not supported on every browser and device so this is not related to the theme.
9. The current version of the theme is compatible with the latest version of WordPress and with PHP 8.3. If you need any assistance with the theme or theme options you should know that you can always turn to our support team here and our support agents will be happy to help. Thank you for your answer, but typography settings doesn’t have any effect on Clarisse Home page. Also I can’t edit the background color after scrolling. I also can’t disable the custom cursor on the homepage. It seems that is hard coded so I will look into the code.

I have PHP 8.1 and I can’t downgrade to 8.0 because it’s deprecated. My photo slider and portfolio slider are no longer working. The theme needs an update.

If you are using the latest version of Qi Addons for Elementor plugin, then this is most likely caused by the swiper library update inside the plugin. Try to update the QiAddons plugin to the latest version and disable the Swiper library upgrade option in Qi Addons for Elementor > Settings tab > General.

Is the current version of the theme compatible with PHP 8.2? When is the next update expected? After moving the site to a server with PHP 8.2, the portfolio slides and image sliders are no longer visible.

The theme hasn’t been fully tested yet with PHP 8.2. We recommend using PHP 8.0 until update is released. At the moment we don’t have an ETA when the update will come out, however you will be notified via email when the new update is online on ThemeForest.

We couldn’t reproduce this on our installation of the theme.
This could be caused by some third party plugin. Please deactivate all your third party plugins except bundled plugins ( Madelyn Core, Qode Framework, Elementor, Slider Revolution…) clear browser cache and check the page. If the issue disappears, activate your plugins one by one and try to find the plugin that causes the issue.

The ‘Madelyn Section Title Text’ is not working on safari and iPhone (both safari and chrome). In Chrome on desktop it is it working. It seems that it does not get the css code “visibility: visible;” on safari and mobile phones. I think this element is one of the unique functionalities of the theme, so hopefully it can be fixed.

Hi, I would like to buy this template for a client of mine but I need some information: – is the slider revolution plugin included (in bundle)? – is the Elementor plugin included (in bundle)? Is Elementor the standard website editing plugin? I would need it above all because my client is only able to use this and not others (example: WP Bakery) – is WordPress 6.1.1. compatible with the wordpress version released on December 16, 2022? – is it compatible with a php 8.0 (or later) server version? – is it compatible with a database version 5.7 (or later)? this information is necessary and important for us as our server hosting is configured in this way and if your template is not updated to be usable with these requirements it is not good.
