I think since I have already made my custom theme, it might change all of what I set up, right? If so, then I will just keep what I have. I think the only thing I was not able to do that demo 5 has was the icons on the top hero section of the front page changes from a circle to an arrow on hover. If you can let me know how to turn that on, I will not need the demo 5 added.

Yes, you can with WP All Import, but you need to map the custom fields properly.

Can I please get an answer as per my previous message from yesterday? I’ve bought the theme to use the sample demos. It only allows me to import the basic demo site and not the demos as advertised. Hello, i`ve purchased you theme and i`m a little confused about some functionalities. I`ve create listing categories and subcategories. But there is no page where i can see hierarchy of the categories and subcategories. I`ve imagined that if i open the main listing categories i should see all of it`s subcategories.

Is there a way to enable that view?

Listing taxonomy terms are listed in widgets and inside the respective search filters only, as illustrated on the theme previews. The theme would need to be extended to list terms as you want.

Can I customize region page? Like adding custom content to it?

Listing archive pages are special, you’d need to use a Child theme and customize PHP template files, mainly template-parts/directory-parts/listings-grid.php

A Loco Translate issue is confirmed by varied customers, so I’m sending the following message for everybody.

After better exploring, it was found that the issue with Loco Translate was raised after WordPress 6.7 update:

As a temporary fix, the Loco Translate plugin developer recommends to downgrade WordPress to 6.6 version:

The theme version was just updated, please try it. Remmember to also update the bookings plugin, which is provided inside listar/inc/required-plugins/plugins folder. Go to Wordpress dashboard / Plugins / Add New / upload the plugin and overwrite the old version after the upload. You can also upload and unzip it inside the wp-content/plugins/ folder.

If still having issues, send an email to support@wt.ax with admin login credentials and where the issue happens.

You need to translate the theme Listar and the plugin Listar Addons. If you have imported the demo, there are texts to modify in Appearance / Widgets / Front Page and also in Pages / Front Page editor. If after these there are still texts to translate, please send an email to support@wt.ax with admin login credentials and screenshots of parts that are not translated.

You are asking the WordPress search to detect and understand taxonomy term labels mixed in raw text, this is a challenge for any listing directory. The theme contains a few options to help on that but if is not 100% correct for all searches. That is why there are proper search filters for taxonomies (Categories, Regions, etc), I’d recommend you to use it. Anyway, regarding the options, you can go to Theme Options / Search and Archive / Search on listing region names (this is one of the multiple options available).

Thank you for the help with the listings regions. I have sorted my emails out, but I’m still not getting any notifications when I test “claim listing”. Should I get an email or should it show up in the claims section in the dashboard?

Another problem that I have is: I have added listing from wp import and when in go into a region on the front page the listings are there, but if I select “more regions” or select “where?” in the search bar, they are not there. the only one that shows is one that I added manually as a test.

Late reply, I’m very sorry. When a listing is being claimed, an Woocommerce order is created. If the order be completed (manualy by you, or after getting paid), the Claim post is created and a notification is sent to the site administrator, asking to moderate the claim (approve/deny). For that, you need the SMTP configured.

Try to edit the listing via WordPress back end editor and just click Publish/Update. Also, verify if the region is properly selected to the listing in the editor.

If still not working as expected, please send admin login credentials to support@wt.ax.
