Hello i am facing an issue with expired listing. I have made a registration for a vendor (has the verdor role) , i got my free plan which expires in few days . First i dont getting any email before the listing is going to be expired . Second , when the listing is expired then it is still showing in active mode (in vendor “listings tab” and in the search-listing page , but the plan is INACTIVE in Vendor dashboard.. Third, when i click on “Edit” button in this listing from vendor listing tab ..it says the expected below message :
Hello test test,
Your pricing plan is expired dated on 03-04-2025.

Fourth, I tried also to run the wp-cron manual by searching the URL https://my-site/wp-cron.php .. but nothing ..its still active Also i tried to run the wp-cron manually from wordpress tool > cron event > puc_cron_check_updates-weddingdir-listing (Clicking Run Now) Also i added the ” define(‘DISABLE_WP_CRON’, false); ” in root/wp-config.php file , i done all of the above but stillnothing.. Last but not least ,when i go to take again the plan , then the listing turn to draft mode directly…
I dont have an cache plugin active too. Please help me i thing i have already done all the steps , maybe something is going on with the code..!

If you are using {{site_name}} key word in email setting then it’s change with Site name.
Site Name : Open your backend dashboard. Go to Settings → General in the sidebar. Edit the Site title box to adjust your site’s title.

Answer #2 – When you created location as Article Wise WeddingDir will show location dropdown.

1st – Goto listing category > create / edit > choose category icon search venue and select.
2nd – Goto setting option > Listing Setting > Listing Currency Sign. Save it.
3rd – Pricing plan only work for vendor’s. if you wish to pricing plan work couple side then it’s paid service.
4th – Yes, WeddingDir provided payment gateway work for vendor’s pricing. if you wish to create your payment gateway it’s paid service.

Expired listing will work with WP-Cron.
Each 24H will automatically check the vendor’s pricing plan wise date expired after vendor’s listing status change publish to draft mode.
Make sure your listing author is vendor user ( role ) then this function will work.

Hi,i have the below issues , 1.In couple dashbord in section CHECKLIST or from the sidebar menu if i click on checklist sometime im getting this error : Request Timeout This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it should not be timed out, please contact administrator of this web site to increase ‘Connection Timeout’. ..... and sometimes the page appears normally after a minute but its not working the add buton or something else…
2. Also , i have done some changes in the weddingdir settings from wordpress in tab Geust list setting for couples.. but in couple profile in corresponding page tab i dont see my changes (i have done clear cache in my browser but nothing yet..)
3.Finally i am facing an issue when a couple add something for example a new guest or a new group or a new budget category then it doesn’t appear immediately (or after a refresh )but you may need to log out and log in again, or it may even take a while for the add-on to appear.Its not like your site.
Please advise me what to do for the adove, thank you

2nd – In WeddingDir, navigating to Couple Tools > Guest List > Save Settings will ensure that when a new couple joins, their default event list, group list, and menu list are updated in the couple’s database.

Hello , Wish all is good with you now . The website is working now , you can review it 1- regarding issue number 1 , how I can enable this option now , and regarding the quotes you miss understand my question . When the vendor receive a quote all his quotes shows only the last quote , this a bug .
2-claim button is not working
3-also invoices not working
4-reviews not working in both cases of auto approve or manual
5-regarding (The image and video upload limits based on the pricing plan are available under the Paid Customization Service.) I need more info about this service and also what about limit number of quotes for vendors per packages

Specifically i would like to have different event types (wedding , christening, party etc) so the user will search also with this -> bring me all listings which are for wedding or bring me all listings witch are for birthday party. That will be working like categories and location searching .

I’m currently setting up my directory website using WeddingDir, and I’d like to add category-specific filters to my listings. Specifically, I want users to be able to refine their search based on characteristics that are relevant to each category.
For example, in the “Cake” category, I’d like users to filter by event type (e.g., Wedding, Baptism). How can I set up such a filter so that it appears category only for this type?
Additionally, I’d like to add other relevant filters. For example:
Venues: Indoor / Outdoor, Capacity, Location Photographers: Style (Classic, Modern, Cinematic), Price Range Caterers: Cuisine Type, Vegan Options, Pricing
How can I configure these filters so they appear in the sidebar search and within the respective category pages?

If any Category has Child Category Display.
And child term ( Category ) not available after last term wise : Term’s Listing Posts Display with Map.

i already purchase your theme, need to ask how much to customized to be also general people to login as a BIRTHDAY/celebration…not just wedding couple…. because is for wedding couple if ask for GROOM/BRIDE info, i need to add to also all kind of celebration – Birthday, so when they want to create there website/ they can fill the single person.
