1) Disable this option: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Manually activate a new profile. Now, The “Select” button must appear.
2) Go to every profile page (frontend) -> click on the Administration Dashboard -> click on “Deactivate” -> after the page reloads, click again on “Activate”. Now, The “Select” button must appear.
Why it happened. You created sample profiles that are active but were never reviewed by administrator. Therefore, after enabling the option “Manually activate a new profile” in step 1 above, all profiles must be activated by administrator.

The “Views” link in the user menu cannot be removed. In the future, we will add possibility to remove it.
You can disable “Views” showing statistics of views on a profile page: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Profile -> Show statistics and additional info on Profile page.
Trick: you can assign another page in this field: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> pages -> Profile: Who viewed me page
thank you but i still have problem that the countries not showing on the home page just 2 or 3 countries is showing even that i install theme before also i can not edit pages
This is correct. The home page shows only those countries which have profiles. If no profile was registered in a country, then this country is not showing on the home page.
You can not edit the DateBook pages. They are not editable. If you want to create your own design (layout), then you should create your own page by help of a page builder. After that, you should insert our shortcodes into your pages.

1. You can deactivate Font Awesome in the Elementor settings

I’m trying to remove the comment section from the woocommerce. I disabled prodcut review in the woocommerce setting but it doesnt remove the comment section. Looking at DEV Tool, it seems like this is due to the template.
the classname is ”.datebook-custom-card.card” when i try to remove it with CSS, it removes the whole woocommerce product page.
also: i did check dashboard > comments & reviews and these are all deactivated so this shouldnt be showing in the first place.
please disregard, after resaving all products (woocomerce) the comment section disappeared.

thats the one I used. I do have at least 1 features profile which shows on the search as well home page so in general the features profile option is working. but not when I use the shortcode on a different page.

The feature profiles can be displayed only on these pages: Home page, Profile page, Search page, Classifieds page, Tours page, Category page.

1) Yes, this option has been enabled correctly. Perhaps:
- some cache displays an old page.
- you use a home page created with page builder. In this case, use this shortcode [datebook_featured_profiles]
- you wrongly selected the home page here: WordPress -> Settings -> Reading

Hi. I checked your site and subscription. It all works correctly. I did notice any errors.
What I did as an ordinary user:
- I successfully registered
- I successfully uploaded my photo and completed my profile
- I successfully selected a subscription plan that was free for women
What I did as a administrator:
- I successfully approved a new profile in the moderation panel (frontend)
But! Why your users cannot select subscription plans. Because:
- You administrator enabled this option: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Profile -> Manually activate a new profile. This option hides the Select button on the Subscription page, and does not allow to select a plan until a user completes his profile and administrator approves his profile.
- You activated a cache plugin that displays cached pages. Even after you approve a new profile, this profile’s user still sees an old cached page where the Select button is not available on the Subscription page.
The problem: you activated an aggressive cache plugin.
Possible solutions. Use one of them:
- deactivate a cache plugin fully
- disable an aggressive mode in the cache settings
- exclude this page from caching in the cache settings (https://yoursite/mypage/upgrade/)
Do not use a recurring payment! Please, do not select a recurring payment in the theme settings. This option is experimental and has not been completed yet. Because it is very inconvenient for user to cancel a recurring payment in PayPal. I think we will remove any recurring payment in the future. Recurring payments make confusion for users.
A new feature “Description” in the Moderation panel is still under development and not completed yet. It will display the changed text in the description of profile. When a user writes something in the description, this new description goes to the moderation panel under “Description”.
I am yet to check the option where a user must first select a subscription plan and then registration. Actually, this option was corrected few months ago. But ok, I will check it again. But it is not clear what error you see on your site. I checked it on our side. No error.

Thanks pagick. I’m referring to the shortcode used for this page (..mypage/upgrade/) which shows a menue on the left (subs, messages settings etc) and on the right lists all subscriptions.

You can your message in the subscription plan here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Subscription plans -> open a plan for editing -> enter your message in the field ” Title”. This field has 2 fields “Title” and “Description”. The Description is what you need.
hi pagick, thanks but what i was asking was how to change what is behind a shortcode. i.e. when i use the above short code, it shows me a specific content – i want to add text into that content (without changing information in the subscriptions itself) i just want to add space on top of the subscription DIV and put in a link and image there. I so i can send people to my customized subscription page.

Theme subscription module tax compliance issue: Admin-activated subscriptions appear as user purchases. Creates potential tax liability issues. Affects accounting accuracy and reporting.
I wanted to try this with coupons but found that it had not been implemented yet, despite users raising it two years ago. Are there any plans to implement this?
Currently, deciding between the woocommerce module and the theme module is walking on a edge because while the basis functions are the same, there are significant differences in the features provided.

1) Tax issue. If admin activates the subscription, then even the paid subscription gets activated for free. No payments are made neither by admin nor user. So, there must not be the tax issue.
2) Coupons work properly. I just checked our demo 2 site and tried to use this coupon “BJXVYRXW” in the subscription, in WooCommerce. The coupon was accepted, and the discount was successful. See screenshot https://ibb.co/S45D6xjX

Hi Pagick, can you let me know if this will be fixed? There is another issue with using WooCommerce (which does not relate to the theme). I have no other choice but to use the theme subscription module. But the mentioned problem with the theme subscription module is crucial for accounting.

Thumbnail optimization plugins are bad idea. Do not use them. The DateBook theme uses its own optimization and saves all photos in special folders.
So, thumbnail optimization plugins interfere the theme’s photo function and changes its data. Do not use any image optimization!

1. Activate the theme with your purchase code here WordPress -> DateBook -> License
2. Select the home page here WordPress -> Settings -> Reading.
After that, all functions must work.

This doesn’t seem to affect website functions, but I’d love to know what messages are being sent here (without a body).
in the screenshot, you will see that this doesn’t happen randomly, and based on the path, the theme is sending these emails. This is the WP SMTP plugin that ensures emails are being authenticated when sending.

Please, check these email templates:
1) WordPress -> DateBook -> Email templates -> Confirm your email address
2) WordPress -> DateBook -> Email templates -> New message.

Another issue I came across with is the User menu. While my setup suggest that the user menu should show on all pages, it only shows in home (and not on search or on the profile page) this makes navigation a little challenging.

I came across something not working with the gender restrictions. I have set up in “search” that women cannot see women and men cannot see men, but in the frontend, in search, I can still see both gender and also in the featured row on the top, both gender are showing.

I did make the chances there (sorry, it looks like I uploaded the wrong images) but trying it again now, i found that the selection (women cant see women and vice versa) is not holding. I make the selection, save the section and when I refresh the page, the selections are removed.
can we agree that I always test on staging with all plugins deactivated? saves me some time 
The theme settings do not save? Something is wrong with WordPress or database. Perhaps, your MySQL database has a wrong encoding. The collation should be something like “utf8mb4_unicode_ci” or “utf8mb4_general_ci”.
Other encodings make cause unexpected errors.
Hi Pagick, if thats the problem, none of the settings would work. It just doesn’t work for this specific setting.
When you test it yourself, make sure that you refresh youir dashboard and don’t only click on another section of the dashboard. you will see that the selections are removed only for this specific setting.
also another note. there seem to be 2 places where you can apply this setting. one is dashboard > searching and the other one dashboard > Profiles. the wording seems to be the same so I dont understand why there are two different settings for the same function. the settings are not saving for either of the sections.
