Hi I’m looking to form two separate registration forms/ account types one for talents and another for casting reps/producers. After people make an account I want thenyo be about to choose rolls that they like for different project. And the talent or reps can post rolls.

However, the theme itself does not add custom roles like “Talent” or “Casting Rep,” nor does it provide dedicated role/casting management features. If needed, you can map different registration forms to existing WordPress roles (for example, Subscriber or Editor) or create custom roles using third-party plugins.

I purchased the Iconique – Fashion Model Agency WordPress Theme, but it’s extremely confusing to work with. The demo content did not import properly, and instead it installed unrelated WooCommerce elements. Updating or customizing the content is very complicated. I would like to request a refund, as the product doesn’t work as advertised.

Iconique is an Elementor-based theme, so all content customization is handled using the Elementor plugin. You can easily add, remove, change, or rearrange any content according to your needs. Thanks for your reply. I’ve been building and hosting sites for ~20 years and I configured the server before installation to meet your documented requirements.

I followed the documentation step-by-step on a clean WordPress install. The demo content still does not import as shown. What I consistently get are a few generic WooCommerce pages and a layout that’s materially different from the advertised preview. In addition, Elementor loads very slowly during editing and frequently throws errors, even with only the required plugins active.

Given that:

the demo does not import/work as described, and

the editor performance issues make the theme impractical for long-term use,

this purchase falls under Envato’s “Item is not as described / doesn’t work the way it should” grounds for a refund. I appreciate the offer of support, but I don’t wish to spend further time granting credentials and troubleshooting a reproducible issue.

Unfortunately, since no site access or additional information was provided, we weren’t able to investigate what went wrong in your specific installation. Without seeing the environment directly, it’s impossible for us to determine the cause of the issue or offer a solution.

That said, we understand your decision, and we’ve approved your refund request. Please just keep in mind that according to Envato’s refund policy, refunds are granted only when an item is not working as described, and in this case we were not able to confirm any issue on our side.

They don’t give a refund for customer dissatisfaction. The theme is buggy for demo content import. They want you to waste days troubleshooting the issues because “according to marketplace refunds policy, refunds are provided when an item has a critical malfunctioning that cannot be fixed”
