You can add custom code before the Hero block, before and after posts through the Theme settings – Additional Content > Homepage.[screenshot]
But if you need it in special places, you can safely install a Child theme and edit the page template file by adding the HTML code you need.

Well, apparently Lightspeed doesn’t give the same results as directly using PageSpeed, which it should. But yes, PageSpeed shows 96.

I’ve created a nested menu on my site where a parent category (e.g., “Main Topic”) contains three child subcategories (e.g., “Subtopic 1”, “Subtopic 2”, “Subtopic 3”). These categories are used to group posts.
Issue: When clicking on the parent category in the menu, it redirects to an empty page (no list of posts or subcategories is displayed).
Goal: I’d like the parent category page to automatically display previews of its child subcategories, such as:
- Subcategory titles, - Short descriptions, - Images (if possible), - Links to each subcategory.
Similar to how post previews are displayed in a blog archive.
Details:
- The menu is built via Appearance → Menus using categories, not pages. - The parent category has no posts assigned directly to it — only its child subcategories contain posts.
Questions:
1. Does the theme have a built-in option to automatically display child subcategories on the parent category page? 2. If not, could you recommend a plugin or code snippet to achieve this functionality (e.g., displaying child categories with their descriptions and thumbnails)?
