In many types of businesses such as salons, spas, car detailing, or clinics, each service has a different duration. For example, a haircut may take 30 minutes, while beard trimming takes 15 minutes.

Also, each employee may have different prices for each service, and customers often prefer to choose the specific staff member they want.

Because of this, the correct workflow should be:

The customer selects one or more services.
The system calculates the total required time dynamically based on those services.
Then it checks each staff member’s availability to find a suitable time slot, not just any fixed slot.
The customer selects the staff member they want, and sees the corresponding prices for that staff member.

Unfortunately, most systems only allow the customer to pick a generic 1-hour slot or 30-minute block, without linking it to the duration of the selected service(s) and the actual availability of each staff member. This leads to overbookings or inefficiencies.

So, my question is:

Does your system support dynamic time-slot calculation based on the selected services’ total duration, and also support price variations per staff member for each service?

If this is not available yet, is it something that could be implemented or customized?

I want to be 100% sure that it covers everything I need, because if it doesn’t, I might lose valuable time and resources developing something that won’t fit my vision.

Here’s what I want to achieve:

I’m creating a platform that allows users to book services across multiple industries — such as salons, car washes, doctors, pet grooming, lawyers, spa centers, tour guides, restaurants, and even luxury car rentals or Airbnb-style accommodations. It’s a multi-vendor system where each business will manage its own services, employees, availability, and pricing.

Here’s what I need to confirm about your system:

Employee-specific pricing:
Can I set different prices for the same service depending on the employee? For example, the base service “Haircut” could cost $20, but with a senior stylist it might be $35.
Booking without registration:
Is it possible for customers to book an appointment as guests without being required to sign up? Many customers prefer booking without creating an account.
Flexible time slots:
Some services may take 10, 15, 45, or 80 minutes. Does the system dynamically calculate time slots based on the selected service duration, or are time slots fixed (e.g. 30-minute blocks)?
Tablet/Staff Use:
Can businesses manage their bookings through a tablet interface (like a simplified dashboard), and can employees access their schedule through a mobile app or login?
Multiple business categories:
Can the system support a wide range of different business types (beauty, healthcare, auto, rentals, etc.) with different booking logic and custom fields per category?
Points or rewards system:
Is there any built-in loyalty program or integration where users can earn points for each booking and redeem them for discounts later?
Coupons and discounts:

Is it possible to charge businesses a monthly subscription to use the platform, and/or take commissions per booking?
Push notifications / reminders:
Does the system support SMS or push reminders (e.g., via OneSignal or Twilio) to notify customers and employees before the appointment?
Multi-language and RTL support:
I plan to launch in Greece and potentially in Arabic-speaking countries. Is multi-language and RTL supported?

Hello, I dont see an option to update to change the listing placeholder image within any of the theme settings. I don’t even see the placeholder image within the files on the server side. Can you let me know the best way to update to a different listing placeholder image?

Il existe plusieurs abonnements sur Dokan. Votre thème fonctionne avec tous les plans dokan? Du freenium au forfait entreprise? 3. Est-il possible que chaque vendeur soit autonome dans la gestion de ses commandes mais aussi de la reception des paiements. Mon idée est de ne prendre aucune commission sur les ventes et donc que chaque paiement soit reçu directement par le propriétaire de la boutique. 4. I have 2 Q before I make my purchase, and I want to make sure that I understand the categories and sub-categories topic correct, bcz it’s a little bit confused:

Now, I don’t want these Service, Event, Rentals, Classifieds to be my main categories, I just want to create my own Categories; also I don’t want them to be displayed in the Add Listing Form.

For Ex. Main Category: Real State=> Subcategories: Apartments, Houses, Farms..etc.

Attributes for the Main Category in the Add Listing form, Listings pageFilter : For Rent, For Exchange, For Sale.

So users can select homepage filter drilldown lists Real state=>Apartments, then directed to Listings page, in sidebar filter includes Attributes: For Rent, For sale….etc.

I hope you get my point…So can I do that according to above scenario?

1. Okay, let’s clarify the difference between Listing Categories and Listing Types (Service, Rental, Event, Classifieds).

You can indeed create your own main Listing Categories under Listings → Categories in your WordPress dashboard. These are separate from the default Listing Types.

To prevent the default Listing Types (Service, Event, Rentals, Classifieds) from being displayed in the Add Listing Form and used as the primary classification:

Go to Listeo Core → Submit listing. Here you can disable the Listing Types you do not want to use. This will remove them as options when adding a listing.

You can also manage the fields displayed on the Add Listing Form using the Listeo Editor → Add Listing Form Editor. Ensure the Listing Type field is removed or configured as needed there as well.

Ok, now If I deleted or disabled the Listing types such as event, I couldn’t get the options which it has for the normal Category for instance the booking Calendar and Prices..etc.? or it’s available whatever a bookable category I will create?

Can I add more than these types such as Jobs, or it’s only these 4?

We have only 4 listing types, each connected to booking method. If you will disable event users won’y be able to add listings where people can book tickets

Is it include push notifications if not how to do it ?

Hi, I have createc sutom fields how I can show those custom fields on front end on listing?

I have created new custom fiellds and I’m adding those fields to Submit Service Form section when I add section and fields its automatic disappears. when i add new section it shows popup “Are you sure you want to reset to default state? This cannot be undone.”

I have some questions about the subscription process:

The user subscribed to Plan X (paid) on April 1st, with monthly renewal. They canceled the renewal on April 2nd. After cancellation, the listing remained associated with Plan X, but its status changed to “Pending” — it was no longer active.

1. I believe the correct behavior would be: • The listing should remain active under Plan X until the end of the paid subscription period (April 30th). • Only after that, it should either automatically migrate to the free plan or become pending.

Is there a way I can configure the system so it behaves like this?

2. When clicking to cancel the renewal, the cancellation was immediate — there was no confirmation asking “Are you sure you want to cancel?”. Can we add this second confirmation step before finalizing the cancellation?

Newly discovered bugs:

1. When I go on Edit Listing on wp-admin on a rental and I go to Availability Calendar, then click next month >, the calendar disappears. Seems like a bug introduced by recent updates. Disabling caching plugin doesn’t help. Also batch editing on prices and availability in wp-admin like under listeo dashboard would be nice to have.

2. On listings rentals when used for accommodation, when you batch edit some dates to make them blocked, would be good to block them half dates. Meaning they can be used for check-out but not check-in. Otherwise the new functionality cannot be used on accommodation and still have to create fake bookings to block dates booked offline.

3. When batch edit dates for prices under listeo edit, would be good to see numbers for dates that are previous or next month. It shows blank and you have to do head math to calculate which is which. See 3 days before May 1st, they have no numbers.

4. Dark mode colors are a bit off in Listeo listing editor, as seen on my screenshots.

Calendar width issue is on light theme as well when search is on left sidebar.
