My site is in german. Everything seems configurated right, but the site is still in english. I don´t want to publish my site here. Please get in contact with me!!!!!!

This is not the theme. After the WordPress released the update 6.8+, the translation stopped working correctly. The DateBook 4.8.9 also works correctly. It is ok.

Solution: rollback to the WordPress 6.7+.

What?? That can not be. I have soooo many Plugins and so on and only yours has this error….and that is a wordpress fault??? No way…..so we can never Update Wordpress, when using your stuff????

This is not the theme error. WordPress 6.8+ has made modifications in its code.

It is all ok. The update with translation fix will be available very soon.

Hi Pagick, the theme does not send emails to users when they receive a new message. Sending emails in other circumstances, such as new user registration or forgotten password requests, works fine. Unfortunately, users do not receive an email when someone leaves them a message. The problem appears after the last update. Can you please help with this?

Yes, this issue appeared after the WordPress update 6.8. It seems developers of WordPress made a mistake somewhere in the code.

If you need translation, then rollback WordPress down to the version 6.7+.

I’ve followed the instructions for woocommerce but each time I try there is an issue. When going through the process it isn’t registering that the payment has been made and still shows the “You must select a subscription plan” message. I’m a month behind my anticipated launch date as I simply cannot get the subscriptions to work. Any ideas???

It looks like you did not fill in something in the PayPal settings on the PayPal site.

We have installed these 2 plugins on demo 2 site: WooCommerce PayPal Payments and Restore Paypal Standard For WooCommerce.

There you can see 2 PayPal options: PayPal and PayPal Standard. Try to pay through them both. They both work correctly. After the payment on PayPal is done, the subscription becomes activated automatically and immediately.

I don’t know if you read my answer below about the modification to make the translations work. I tried what you suggested but it doesn’t work. At the moment the latest version 4.8.9 only allows those who have the website entirely in English to work without problems while those who have multiple languages ​​active are objectively a mix between the selected language and the English language.

I kindly ask you to fix this bug, I intend to go online to the public but this way I can’t. I personally use LOCO translate plugin only for my language (Italian) where I customized the destination of the file (custom path) and the file itself with translations of some modified words, but here too nothing works.

Basically I would like it to work like the previous version again and be able to use LOCO translate as I always have.

In any case even the translations provided by you with the theme/plugin are NOT selected when using the language selector.

When do you think you can solve this problem?

Hi. I found out from some developer forums that the latest WordPress 6.8+ has an issue with translation.

Solution: rollback to WordPress 6.7+.

I have always been told that usually the best thing to do (in terms of security) is to keep the latest version of wordpress and rollback the theme version and not the other way around, also because wordpress updates are NOT that frequent.

I repeat after 8 days of no response and solution to the problem reported, that version 4.8.9 continues to create problems with the NATIVE translations of the theme.

I also checked the DEMO 1 version on your site and even though I change the language, MOST of the menus remain in English even if I change the language to French-German Spanish and so on. You can see this from the various menus of the various settings pages.

How can I find the moderation panel? The navigation in the Moderation panel doesn’t work. No matter which button I press, it takes me to the Home Page.

The moderation panel is only available if you use the DateBook theme. If you use some page builder, then the moderation panel is not available. In this case, you should check for new profiles in the WordPress admin area: WordPress -> Profiles

It looks like you have not completed the installation of the theme. Please, do the following:

1) Activate the theme with your purchase code here: WordPress -> DateBook -> License.

2) Go here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Theme Installer -> follow all 3 steps.

3) Go here and re-save the Gender field: WordPress -> DateBook -> Custom Fields -> open the Gender field -> save it.

4) Upload the background images for featured profiles here: WordPress -> Media. After that, go here and select those images: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Featured profiles -> click on the “Featured background images” -> select images you uploaded before.

5) Go here and select the home page: WordPress -> Settings -> Reading.

6) You can change the Date of birth here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Custom Fields -> open the “Date of birth” field for editing -> change the title -> save.

Actually, the step 2 above can install everything. So, if you have no success or the theme does not work properly, then start the installation of WordPress from the beginning and follow step 2.
