I’ve updated to the latest theme version and noticed the first big glitch – the “Image Upload” does not work – cannot upload any images… It shows a Javascript error.

Hi, We tested, it is working, you just need to clear cache.
Cleared cache, restarted the browser in incognito mode – same issue – does not go away.

This was the worst update to deal with and every time i update Houzez theme – there’s issues.
Please make this theme reliable after an update. There’s a lot of issues for me to deal with now.

Greetings, the problem is that I’m making modifications to the demo, but I’m confused about how to keep the modified demo as the default. Second, should I just delete one basic page and delete the remaining pages 2-3…because they confuse me and mix up the modified and unmodified pages. Hello After finishing the update, I noticed that the new elements and terms added to the term cannot be translated into French. I use Loco Translate.

I just wanted to let you know that your new “Plugin Management” system does not work. None of the buttons react to any clicks, such as “Update Now”, “Update All”, “Refresh Status” etc.
I guess I’ll have to manually update the plugins through the ZIP files.
I like the idea of this new plugin management, but it looks like it’s not working properly as it appears other users are reporting the same thing.
I look forward to using it though when it does work!

SOLVED. Have to upload plugins directly from the zip file. One at once. don’t use Envato market update. obviously you have to unzip the folder first. Regards AGA

Oh my gosh, to update to Houzez 4.0.0, I have to update the theme & plugins separately. Specifically update the theme in the appearance section, upload the plugins files to Plugin > add plugin. Can not upload “all files at once.”

I’m having major issues after Houzez 4.0.0. I cleared cache and all plugins updated but nothing looks as it did before the update. I tried to downgrade but that appears to not be possible. It would have been nice to have a warning that this was a major change that would require significant time to upgrade. I’ve been using this theme for years and updates have never been this problematic.
