I got some other doubts regarding the theme before purchasing it:
1) On the sample site, I see categories in front-end like Apartments, Cars, Classifieds, Coaching, Eat & Drink, Events, Fitness and Services, but when I try to add some listing I see only Service, Rent, Event and Classifies. Where are the others categories? How to add , e.g. eat & drink listing?
2) Is it possible to put the purchase plans in front-end (during registration process), instead inside when adding a listing?
3) When clicking on a plan does not redirect to payment platform. I believe is just because the sample, right? Does it accept stripe?
Hi, please check – Listeo has 4 listing types – Service, Rental, Event and Classifieds. Those listing types exist to have different booking options, so you won’t offer for example tickets for renting out apartments. If you want to disable the ones you don’t need you can do it in Listeo Core → Submit listing.
https://docs.purethemes.net/listeo/knowledge-base/listing-types-explanation/ Categories are not related to listing types and you can definite them as many as you need https://docs.purethemes.net/listeo/knowledge-base/how-main-and-sub-categories-work/Payment methods are not enabled on demo. You can use any payment method that works with WooCommerce https://prnt.sc/x9AqqsOFYRSa
Ok, but can I show the categories instead of listing types on add listing? If not possible, can I duplicate the listing type and rename it? I ask that because I need to show the “3 categories” of my site, on the time the user will add a listing. Basically the users can add listing of community (roommate), rent room and rent entire apartment. So what you suggest to get this working on my site?
Also, you did not explain about the purchasing plans (packages). Does it can be moved to any other place/page? e.g can I show the packages during registration process?
You can just turn off the listing types and stick with one default, like rental, since that works well with your apartment rental settings. And about the packages, yes, you can use those because they’re pretty much WooCommerce products. https://listeo.pro/pricing-tables/
I can’t stick with one default listing type, this is very confusing to the user. Is there any way to make the categories as ‘add listing’ options?
It’s on roadmap.
Can you give priority to this and implement in a couple of weeks? I believe will not spend too much time because you just need to make the categories to appear in the place of listing types. This is a must have feature to me.
Not really. We’ve got a lot of other requests from other customers who want their features prioritized. Custom listing types creator is on roadmap, matter of 2-3 months.
Do you believe you can implement this until the end of the year? I mean, not custom types, but make categories displayed when adding listing.
I am afraid I don’t understand. You can already select categories when submitting listing. Listing types are related to booking method only…
No. As I said on my first message, when adding new listing the user see types like Service, Rent, Event and Classifies, and I need to display categories instead, such as Apartments, Cars, Classifieds, Coaching, Eat & Drink, Events, Fitness and Services, so the user can insert it directly.
Service, Rent, Event and Classifies are not categories.
Categories are there https://prnt.sc/4DivXr2I6BvE
You still didn’t understand. I need this: https://prnt.sc/EnDWY68REmTQ
Can you please tell me if you can implement this (https://prnt.sc/EnDWY68REmTQ) until the end of the year?
There will be option to create custom listing types but as I said listing types are NOT categories.
Ok, got it, I really need to use custom listing types, hope you can implement it soon (2-3 month as you said earlier). Thank you.
Yes it’s one of things that has higher priority.
Hello,
Do you provide support for configuring Split payment and Stripe configuration the proper way?
We have extensive docs https://docs.purethemes.net/listeo/knowledge-base/stripe-split-payments-support/ and you can ask on facebook group if you have any issues
Hello,
I want to completely prevent listings from being added as WooCommerce products. I do not want the listings to be converted into WooCommerce products or appear in the product store in any way. They should remain solely as listings. How can I achieve this?
Best regards
That’s not possible, because each listing and transaction related to it is hidden woocommerce product.
Hi Again, I¨m still struggling to get this working on homepage, “Show only ADS”, But it show all other to?? https://prnt.sc/T05NofGbRlVe
Do you have any sponsored listings added? Do you have latest version of theme with plugins? Consider renewing support and sending us support ticket
Hi, has tested all, Yes its the newest theme with plugins, using php7.4 and tested with php 8.2, but it still not showing only active ADS.
Hi, The problems starts when after you have delete an ADS, After that it stops Sorting correct!
Hi, on our end it works. Try to change order by to “no order” or “random order” https://imgur.com/9ZyAHLr
Hi Again, After reinstall clean DB, and using php7.4, I not get this problem and it works as expected. Thank you.
Ok, glad it works but honestly PHP version should not cause any issue so I guess it works thanks to reinstallation.
Love your work. I cant produce a mega menu with the Listeo default menu system and when I install a mega menu like Jetmenu or Plus Mega Menu the additional menu configuration options in Appearance / menu stay set to the Listeo default menu system and do not allow the menu configuration options to change for plugins like Jetmenu or Plus Mega Menu and in some cases, it breaks the site.
What code can I add in Functions to disable the Listeo default menu system please

Subject: Feature Grouping in the “Features” Section – Layout Issue on Listing Submission and Display.
We have encountered a usability issue related to the “Features” section when assigning features to listings across different categories.
In our setup, we are using multiple feature groups (main categories) with their corresponding sub-features. For example:
1. Technical & Equipment: Sound System, Lighting System, Stage, DJ Booth
2. View: Mountain, Sea, City Center, Forest
...and many more grouped features according to listing category types.
While the backend setup allows us to organize features logically under these parent groups and assign them to specific listing categories, we noticed that:
1. On the frontend submission form, all features appear as a flat list of checkboxes, without visual grouping under their respective parent categories.
2. Similarly, on the listing detail page, the selected features are displayed in the same unstructured, chaotic way, making the layout confusing and visually cluttered.
This creates a poor user experience both for those submitting listings and for visitors viewing them.
Our Request:
Is there a way to display the features on both the submission form and listing detail page grouped under their respective parent categories, as defined in the admin panel? This would greatly improve the clarity and usability of the interface.
If this feature is not currently supported, is there a recommended way to implement it via customization, or is it something planned for future updates?
We look forward to your guidance and truly appreciate your support.
Best regards
Hi it is something that we plan to improve but no ETA for now as we have busy schedule with other features but indeed it will be nice to have. You can ask on Listeo FB group if someone could help you with implementing this earlier.
Hello,
I’m concerned that using a third-party plugin might cause performance and compatibility issues. Therefore, I would prefer if this feature could be developed directly by your team. I believe it would add significant value to your product, as this functionality would be beneficial not only for us but for everyone using your software for various purposes. If it’s not currently a priority on your roadmap, could you kindly recommend a reliable developer you work with? I would appreciate any assistance you can provide.
Thank you.
Hello dear purethemes team Is the booking feature suitable for a boat rental site? Thanks Regards
Yes I think so
I am planning to purchase your theme, however my current one is TownHub with thousand users and I have to find a way to transfer them. Do you have a migration tool for this change? Or can you build one?
Hi, you can use WP All Import/Export https://docs.purethemes.net/listeo/knowledge-base/importing-listings-using-wp-all-import/
Subject: Booking Calendar – Full Day Marked as Unavailable Issue
Hi,
We are using the Listeo theme with time-slot-based bookings enabled. However, we’re facing an issue:
When a user books a specific time slot (e.g., June 24, 2025 – 10:00 to 11:00), the entire day appears as unavailable (red) on the calendar, and other time slots on the same day cannot be booked. Our Current Settings:
Time slots enabled ✅
Maximum 1 booking per slot ❗
Slot duration: 60 minutes
We’d like to ask:
Is this the expected behavior?
If not, is there a way to make only the booked time slot unavailable while keeping other slots open for booking?
If needed, could you please let us know if there’s a filter or code snippet we can use to override this behavior?
Hi
it’s a bug, we already have it fixed and it will be released in this week update
Does this theme support wishlist member plugin?
Hi, we didn’t test it.
Ticket 61493, very important to reply ASAP please. We had a site with 1500 ads with AdForest that broke after an update, we need to move fast in resetting a new site.
Hi, you received reply within 3 hours.
Amazing support, thank you!
I add FAQ questions and answers, but it doesnt show on the listing. How can I enable it/make it be visible?
Hi, try https://purethemes.net/listeo/ai-assistant/ or Please send us support ticket using this form: https://themeforest.net/item/listeo-directory-listings-wordpress-theme/23239259/support/contact because you didn’t provide enough details that would allow us to help.
Dear Listeo Support Team,
I am writing to you regarding an issue I’m experiencing with the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section not displaying on my single listing pages.
I have consulted your AI assistant and diligently followed all the instructions provided. This included checking settings in Listeo Core → Submit Listing → Disable Submit form modules, clearing my website’s cache, verifying that content was entered for the FAQ, and reviewing settings in Listeo Core → Package Options and Listeo Editor → Submit Listing Form.
Despite all these troubleshooting steps, the FAQ questions and answers still do not appear on the single listing page.
Could you please assist me in resolving this issue, it might be an bug in the theme. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely, Onid
There is no known bug in theme like that so it must be specific to your website, therefore I recommend renewing support and sending supprt ticket.
Also make sure you have latest theme and plugins (Listeo Core, Editor etc.)
Hello
6 months ago you said that “seasonal pricing (e.g., a date picker to mark promotion periods – and a field to specify the discount percentage) will be added in 4-6 weeks.“
I was wondering if this feature has been implemented?
Thanks
With new calendar script in dashboard which allows bulk selecting dates and setting custom prices we didn’t find this useful anymore https://docs.purethemes.net/listeo/knowledge-base/how-booking-works-in-listeo/
so, it is now possible to change price daily, have a high season and a low season for example, I want say have different prices every day
You can drag the cursor through whole month at once and set one price for this selection, instead of clicking each day separately as it was before
If you want to have different prices every day then previous calendar was ideal for you
but with new one you can also do that
so far, your stripe payment gateway can divide the payment as commission and to vendor. is the best so far. One thing I want to know. is the invoice payment of stripe will be forwarded to my website and also to vendor OR just to my website. I am afraid of the TAX calculation by government. if invoice to vendor and my website, surely it will be good. if invoice only to me, i have to bear all tax by government.
We don’t deal with invoicing, that’s on you as the regulation are different per each country etc and it would be impossible for us to handle that as well. As it’s WooCommerce based there are plugins for that, but not sure how to handle Stripe split payment with that
Hi, Is it possible to set up the site so that providers are only charged based on a subscription plan (without charging per listing)? Ideally, I’d like to offer 3–4 subscription packages, and be able to choose which features are included in each plan (e.g., number of listings, access to bookings, visibility options, etc.).
Is this achievable using the built-in features or with recommended add-ons?
See example screenshot https://prnt.sc/x21t31jxz6n7
Thanks!
Yes it is however requires WooCommerce Subscription extension
Unfortunately this one, we have on to do list developing free solution but so far only this one works.
Thanks for advising. Could I ask if there has been a lot of issues reported with this extension at your end or if it’s running smoothly with Listeo?
There are reports of minor bugs from time to time that we rather quickly fix but overall it works
i bought this them but people are not joining my website because its showing this Session token has expired, please reload the page and try again, what can i do to solve it, nyenjeisaac95@gmail.com is my imail please i need help how can i solve it please
Hi,
https://docs.purethemes.net/listeo/knowledge-base/how-to-fix-session-token-has-expired-when-login/Also please check our AI Assistant https://purethemes.net/listeo/ai-assistant/ in this case he’ll know the answer aswell
I want to add a category-level directory, for example, (www-sitename.com/listing/listing-category/business-name) urls, so how can I do that?
An example.: https://themeforest.net/listing/manufacturers/queens-palace
Hi, currently it’[s not possible but we have on roadmap a feature that will allow creating custom URL structure for listings. At this moment you can add region in to URL if you need but category not
How can I add region in the URL then?
You will find this option in Listeo Core / General
Hi, is it possible for customer payments to go directly to service providers (like through their connected Stripe or PayPal accounts), similar to how it’s handled in the Service Finder theme? Or do all payments go through the admin first?
Thank you.
hi presales question, refer to the booking, after visitor buy the ticket how to process check in and how admin know which ticket already checked in
is Listeo plugin itself ? Did you use any other 3rd party plugins in this template ?
It’s our own solution and development
Can i customize it for my needs?
It’s generic question so can’t really answer precisely, if you have coding knowledge you can do anything you want otherwise you need to use existing features
Yes I meant by coding , does this code follow wordpress plugin standards ?
It does
Thank you, I did buy to validate. is there any part of the code that’s hidden ?
Hidden code? Not sure what you mean. For further questions please send us support ticket using this form: https://themeforest.net/item/listeo-directory-listings-wordpress-theme/23239259/support/contact
I meant any code encrypted with PHP IonCube ?
Nope
