Yes, our Ella Shopify theme does support videos in the product cards, like the site you shared, allowing you to display a video instead of a static image on collection or homepage sections.

In addition, Ella also comes with a video swap feature: https://halosoft.gitbook.io/ella-documentation/theme-settings/product-card/set-up-for-product-card#product-video-swap . This means that when customers hover over a product card, the image can seamlessly swap to a video, providing an even more engaging browsing experience.

This problem has happened before, the reason is that the latest update of Chrome has added a short code attribute that is no longer supported, then Chrome updated this attribute again, and we have promptly fixed this error from Ella 6.5.4 onwards. But it is not clear why they added this code attribute again and it continues to cause errors for sources from Ella 6.5.4 and below.

We have 2 solutions for you now:

Regarding the review tab: Ella theme does not include a review tab by default, so this is not a bug.

In older versions of Ella, the review tab was present because we had integrated the Shopify Product Reviews app. However, since Shopify has discontinued that app, we’ve removed the related code from our theme to maintain compatibility and performance.

If you’d like to display a review tab on your product page, we’d be happy to assist! We can help add the tab structure, but to show actual customer reviews, you’ll need to install a third-party review app, as themes cannot allow customer reviews out of the box.
