Hi! After updating WooCommerce to the latest version (10.4.0) there seem to be some compatibility issues with Gwyneth Template. Are there any updates planed for the template in near future? BR Alexandra

Hello, I was wondering, where do I find the settings for making the top header Non-Sticky on mobile devices only, meaning sticky on desktop and non-sticky on mobile. Thanks .

I’ve just realized, the behavior you ask about is actually default behavior of the theme. You can check at theme demo website at https://themedemos.webmandesign.eu/gwyneth/ – sticky header is displayed only on large screens (desktops), not on small (mobile) screens.

Hello, thanks for your reply. On mine this is not the case, but I can see your demo site is the exact behavior I want. It is interesting. I will investigate. The only issue I have is the ClassID for the header is not clear in your template. Can’t find it in the developer tools. Thanks

Yes, you can add any additional functionality to your website using plugins.
For portfolio you can either check a dedicated portfolio plugins, or create a fully custom solution with Advanced Custom Fields plugin (where you can create your own custom post types and taxonomies, option fields, and even blocks if needed).
WordPress provides you with Query block that can display your portfolio custom post type too, so there should be no issue in this regards. As the theme is full site editing (FSE, block theme), you can also create custom template(s) to display your portfolio archives.
Tip: I’ve also created a Search block extension that allows you to narrow down the search to specific post type (portfolio custom post type) and/or taxonomy.

First, congratulation for building such a beautiful website! And thank you for using Gwyneth theme.
Checking your website it seems you are using some script (possibly a plugin) that prevents even opening developer tools in a web browser window. Try to disable this plugin to see if that helps.
It seems the plugin is really strict and could interfere with WordPress mobile menu functionality too.

Unfortunately, after several attempts, I do not understand which plugin after an update prevents using the page editor and especially the menu in mobile mode. Could you tell me based on the above what is the main problem?
Please understand the plugin or script or something on your website is preventing using browser code inspector, so I am not able to provide more info.
Try disabling all plugins on your website to see if that helps. You can then re-enable the plugins one by one to see which one causes the issue.
Also don’t forget to flush your website cache to see the changes in action.

I can’t update this theme. This is the message that I’m getting in WP backend: “An error occurred while updating Gwyneth: Update package not available.” I’ve downloaded this theme for free through the Envato.

For automatic theme updates you need to use Envato Market plugin – check the information in theme documentation at https://webmandesign.github.io/docs/gwyneth/index.html#update-auto
However, if you obtained the theme during Envato free theme promotion, I don’t think you will be able to update the theme. Envato provides free items only at the version they are in during the promotion period and does not allow updates for items obtained for free. You will most likely need to purchase the theme license to keep it up to date. But please check with Envato help directly at https://help.market.envato.com/ as they will be able to provide more info if this is the case.

One additional info: Even if the Envato Market plugin will not allow you to update the theme, it seems the promotion is still running until tomorrow, so you can re-download the theme in its current version and update it manually.
Ok, I did it, but I’m not very optimistic. It is still the same file, called 1.0.7 version. I got above mentioned message when I tried to manually update the theme.
Well, it looks like Envato provides only that version for free. Please contact Envato help for more information about this issue as I have no control over that. Thank you for understanding.

I also ask if it is possible to remove the floating menu and insert the mobile menu next to the button present in the header.

The mobile menu toggle button is styled as any other button on the website. You can set which color is applied on buttons in Appearance → Customize → Theme Options → Colors & Background → “Button color”.

If I understand correctly, you would like to disable sticky/fixed mobile menu button. You can do so by editing “Header” (and “Header: Overlaid header template”) template part and setting “Default” block style for Navigation block (currently it is set to “Fixed mobile toggle button”).

Very nice theme indeed , i saw the menu is collapsed and stays sticky on z-index while scrolling, could i suggest to make it expand in order to have a proper bottom tab bar in mobile view?

Please note I have no control over Envato Market plugin. Try to follow the plugin setup guide and make sure you are using the Envato Market account where you’ve purchased the theme: https://www.envato.com/lp/market-plugin/
If it still does not work, please contact Envato Market help at https://help.market.envato.com/
