the theme import is broken, manual import works but doesn have import of menu items and the full import just gets stuck at 0%. also why does ful import deletes many settings, imports blank placeholders and after fiull import, start getting database connection error every now and then?

In case the demo data installation is stuck, and you see “Error load data from the file … ” error message, you can manually install it by downloading the default.zip archive with demo data from our server https://demofiles.ancorathemes.com/carz/demo/default.zip The archive should be unzipped. Then create demo/ folder in wp-content/themes/carz/ directory and copy /default folder to wp-content/themes/carz/demo.

Is it possible to group features of a car under one title?
Like: - Exterior – option 1 – option 2 – option 3

Unfortunately, it’s not possible.
The Carz WordPress theme does not support grouping features under a single parent title (e.g., “Exterior” with multiple sub-options listed beneath it). The features section is designed to display individual items only, without hierarchical grouping or category-based structure.
If you need grouped features, it would require custom development or modification of the theme files.

On the car overview page, the mileage is currently abbreviated (e.g. 9K, 128K, 105K).
I want the full kilometer values to be displayed instead, for example:
9K → 9,000 km 128K → 128,000 km 105K → 105,000 km
How can I ensure the formatting is consistent across all car cards, uses thousand separators, and always includes the “km” suffix.

On the Single Car page, I want the main car image to be clickable so it opens in a full-screen popup/lightbox view.
Additionally, I’d like the images to be displayed as a carousel within that popup, allowing users to swipe or click through all photos easily. This way, users can browse the full image set smoothly without having to click on the small thumbnail images below the main photo.
For context, the current setup shows one main image with smaller thumbnails underneath (see screenshot), but navigation between images is not very intuitive or fast.

Once the ThemeREX Addons plugin is installed and active, a new menu item (Cars) will appear in your WordPress dashboard. Please proceed to Cars > Add New to create new car posts.
The single car pages as well as the “All Cars” page inherit the general settings (for header, footer, etc.) specified in Appearance > Customize > Plugins Settings > Cars.
The layout of these pages please edit in php files in wo-content/plugins/trx_addons/components/cpt.

This method is recommended because it is non-destructive, easy to manage, and provides full customization options, for example “Click to Chat for WhatsApp Chat” plugin.

By default, WordPress does not support SVG file uploads due to security risks. SVG files are XML-based and can contain malicious code or scripts that could harm your website. To safely use an SVG logo in your theme’s header, you should use a 3rd-party plugin. From your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New and search for a plugin like “Safe SVG” or “SVG Support“ and then add the file.

This is the main field of the form, if you remove it the form will be hidden. You can rename it in trx_addons.pot file via Loco translate. If you want to change the layout completely you should edit php files. Please submit a support ticket for detailed instructions.

I am writing to report a critical issue with my website
The primary problem is: The WooCommerce shopping cart icon in my header is completely non-functional. Clicking it does nothing at all; it does not open the mini-cart dropdown, nor does it redirect to the cart page.
Upon inspecting the browser console on my live site, I found the following critical JavaScript error:

Please update bundled plugins using Themerex Updater plugin. After the plugin installation, navigate to Appearance -> Themerex Updater and enter your purchase code. Then you can update the plugins in the Dashboard -> Updates, just scroll down to section Active theme components: Plugins.

In principle I have everything up to date, so the license tells me this: Specify the purchase key of current (active) theme to enable updates for this theme and theme-specific plugins via admin menu ‘Dashboard – Updates’. You don’t need to enter the purchase code if the current theme is previously activated.

Thank you for contacting us! Please note, that the maximum size of the logo depends on the actual size of the image. This option in Header layout->Logo widget in Elementor works if the max height of the logo is set in em in the Elementor “Layouts: Logo” widget.
Also please try to increase the width of the column with the logo in the Elementor section.

Thanks, now I have another problem: I put a link in a slider button so that it moves a section of the web and it works perfectly. But when I put that same link in a custom menu link it doesn’t work, it doesn’t move to the section (and the menu word appears underlined like the one on the home page, as if that page was also active). Everything is perfectly configured, both the id in the section and the url. Chat GPT mentions the following:
