I purchased the Edmo Moodle theme but I cannot figure out how to recreate the homepage layouts shown in the demo. The included files are only static HTML, and the Edmo blocks install but don’t appear on the frontpage. Could you please provide clear instructions or demo content?
Hello Cristina,
Thanks for your comment!
Please check the installation documentation here:
Documentation: https://docs.envytheme.com/envydoc/edmo-moodle-theme-documentation/installation-and-update/theme-installation-setup/
Video Tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tND2I65YyfE
To access and set up the front page, please visit the following URL on your site: https://yoursite.com/?redirect=0
This will allow you to configure the homepage layout as shown in the demo.
Best regards
Hello, is it possible to set up a membership payment system? For example, a user pays $19/month and gets access to all courses on my Moodle platform.
Hi, thank you for your question!
Moodle doesn’t have a built-in membership payment system by default. However, you can achieve this functionality using third-party plugins or by integrating Moodle with platforms like MemberPress, WooCommerce, or PayPal subscriptions.
These tools allow you to create membership plans (e.g., $19/month) and control user access to your Moodle courses accordingly.
Best regards
“I have a ticket.” #ZIL4ZDL5. I am trying to perform an existing installation. I uploaded the demo_files.zip, and inside it I placed:
Edmo.zip (theme file) → into: /demo_files/theme/
blocks.zip (all blocks) → into: /demo_files/blocks/
It says I need to upload a file called local, but I can’t find it. Now I’m getting this error:
The plugin “theme_demo_files” is defective or outdated: sorry, you cannot continue.
More information about this error: Debug info: Missing $plugin->version number in version.php. Error code: detectedbrokenplugin Stack trace:
