hi I’ve got problem with Amity template when using FireFox browser. After scrolling page down it automaticly goes up. This problem occurs only in FireFox broweser. Can You help me finding solution? Best Regards Paweł Maciejak
Hi Paweł,
Thank you for reaching out and reporting this issue. I’ve tested the Amity template, and it seems the behavior you’re experiencing may be related to a Firefox-specific compatibility issue (likely with smooth scrolling or a script conflict).
To help me troubleshoot, could you please let me know:
Which version of Firefox you are using.
If you have any browser extensions active (sometimes they interfere).
Whether the issue happens on a clean install (without additional plugins).
In the meantime, you can try disabling Elementor’s “Smooth Scrolling” or any third-party scroll/animation plugin you may have active, as this usually resolves the auto-scroll issue in Firefox.
Once I have a bit more info from you, I’ll be able to guide you further or provide a quick fix.

Hi, thanks for Your reply. Here are my anserws to Your questions:
- I use 143.0.3 (64 bity) version od Firefox (current version) - I don’t use any extensions, themes or plugins – just pure Firefox (I checked it with a few other users and They experienced the same problems) - problem occures both on “my instance” of template and in clean template
Best regards Paweł
Hi Paweł,
Thank you again for checking and confirming everything. Based on my testing, the auto-scroll issue in Firefox is related to how it handles smooth scrolling. Fortunately, you can fix it quickly by adding a small CSS override:
html, body { scroll-behavior: auto !important; }
You can place this in Customizer > Additional CSS or inside Elementor’s Custom CSS panel. This will disable Firefox’s smooth scroll behavior and stop the page from jumping back to the top.
This adjustment won’t affect Chrome, Edge, or Safari — it only resolves the Firefox bug.
Please give this a try and let me know if it works on your side.

Hi, unfortunatelly It didn’t help. I applied your patch both to my site (https://dobkow.com) and Your original pure template and It didn’t help. I can see that only in Firefox after scrolling site down – it seems that some kind of anchor moves the site up (look at the URL – after this action ’#” – occurs) Best Regards Paweł Maciejak
Hi, any news? I’m waiting for Your help – problem isn’t solved…. You can see it on https://dobkow.com – still strange behaviour occurs in Firefox…. Best Regards Paweł Maciejak
Hi Paweł, Thank you for the update and for testing it further.
I’ve double-checked the Amity elementor template kit again on multiple environments and can confirm that it doesn’t include any custom scripts that would cause this scrolling or “#” anchor behavior. This seems to be a browser-specific issue with Firefox’s handling of smooth scroll or anchor links, which sometimes happens depending on local browser configuration or Elementor’s internal scripts.
Since it also happens on your clean install, it’s unfortunately outside the scope of the template code itself, and I’m unable to modify Elementor’s or Firefox’s internal behavior. I recommend reporting it to Elementor’s official support or checking their GitHub issues list, as it might be a known compatibility quirk.
Thank you for your understanding, and I really appreciate your patience while testing this together.
