hello, it is my license a056dc31-f51a-4df4-bd40-459c6486207f
I encountered a problem: in the header template of the block pattern, the background color of the dropdown submenu doesn’t match the theme. How should I fix it?
Hi,
Thank you for your message.
To better understand the issue, could you please send us a screenshot of the dropdown submenu showing the background color problem?
You can send it to this email address nusatheme17@gmail.com or via our ThemeForest profile page, and we’ll take a closer look and guide you on how to fix it.
Looking forward to your email.
Best regards,
NusaTheme
Hello, I bought your Zaya theme. I´ve only the home page create like yours but the “decoration-circle-1” is not a circle it looks more like an egg and it´s not nice.
Here the url https://bkkdbd.com/
cheers Jens
Hi Jens,
Thank you for your question
The issue you’re describing usually happens when the page is using the Default Page template instead of the Landing template.
For the homepage layout shown in the demo (including the correct circle proportions), please make sure to:
- Edit your Home page
- In the right sidebar, open Page Settings
- Change the Template to Landing
- Save the page
I’ve also attached the documentation section about Page Templates for your reference:
Documentation about pages
If it still doesn’t look correct after switching to the Landing template, please send us a screenshot and we’ll be happy to take a closer look.
Cheers,
NusaTheme
Perfect! Thanks for helping! Works great
I deleted my main menu, but I can´t find how I add a new one or do you´ve and help website where I can see the documention from the theme?
Hi,
No problem — this is easy to fix
Since Zaya is a Full Site Editing (FSE) theme, menus are managed through the Site Editor, not the old Appearance → Menus screen.
To create a new menu:
- Go to Appearance → Editor
- Click on the Header
- Select the Navigation block
- Click Create new menu (or add links manually inside the Navigation block)
- Add your pages or custom links
- Save your changes
I’ve attached the documentation link below — please follow the section about Navigation / Header Setup, which
explains this step by step.
Zaya Navigation Documentation
If you still have trouble after checking the documentation, feel free to send a screenshot and we’ll guide you further.
Cheers,
NusaTheme
Perfect, Thanks so much! But one question more. At the header is left my logo and then is written the name of the site, but this I don´t will show. How can I disable the letters “bkk.dbd”
Thanks for help
Sure. If you don’t want to show your site title then you can remove it from header. You can see the screenshot below where to find the header site title
Remove site title from header
Thanks… Great
We’re glad to hear everything is working well now
If you’re happy with Zaya and the support you’ve received, we would truly appreciate it if you could take a moment to leave us a review on ThemeForest. Your feedback means a lot to us and helps other users feel confident choosing our theme.
Thank you again for your support!
5 Stars for support and quality
I’ve now built the menu, and it was very easy following your instructions. In the browser, when logged in, the menu is displayed correctly in a single row. However, when I access the page in an incognito browser, the three categories are displayed from top to bottom. That’s strange! Honestly, I don’t understand it. Do you have a solution? Thanks…
Hi,
Thank you for the detailed explanation.
That does sound unusual. The menu should behave the same whether you’re logged in or viewing the site in incognito mode. To properly diagnose this, we’ll need to see exactly how it appears on your end.
Could you please send us:
- A screenshot of the menu while logged in
- A screenshot of the menu in incognito mode
Please send these via email through our ThemeForest profile page so we can review it more carefully.
Once we see the screenshots, we’ll be able to determine whether this is a caching issue, responsive breakpoint behavior, or something else.
Looking forward to your email.
Cheers,
NusaTheme
Good morning,
I can´t send you images ThemeForest profile page so I updated bothe files here:
here we go: #1 https://www.directupload.eu/file/d/9213/2tiqylmv_jpg.htm #2 https://www.directupload.eu/file/d/9213/z7qfsni5_jpg.htm
Hi,
Thank you for sending the screenshots, that helped clarify the situation.
After reviewing the behavior you described (working correctly while logged in, but displaying vertically in incognito mode), this strongly indicates a caching or CSS optimization issue, not a problem with the theme itself.
I’ve also checked your live site, and I can see that some style files are not being loaded at all when accessing the site as a logged-out user. This confirms that the issue is very likely related to caching or CSS optimization, rather than the theme itself.
When you’re logged in, WordPress bypasses cache and loads the fresh styles correctly. However, when viewing the site in incognito (logged out), a cached version of the page is typically served. If the cache was generated before all styles were properly compiled, or if CSS optimization (combine/minify/defer) is enabled, it can cause the layout styles not to load correctly — which results in the menu stacking vertically.
To resolve this, please try the following:
-
Clear all caches:
- WordPress caching plugin (if installed)
- Hosting/server cache
- Cloudflare cache (if you are using Cloudflare)
-
If you are using any optimization plugin (such as LiteSpeed Cache, WP Rocket, Autoptimize, etc.), temporarily
disable:
- CSS combine
- CSS minify
- CSS delay/defer options
- After clearing everything, test again in an incognito window.
In most cases, this resolves the issue immediately.
Please let us know which caching or optimization tools you are currently using, and we can guide you more specifically if needed.
Hey, yes you´re right! It was the CSS optimize from WP-Rocket! Now its fine. Sorry that I forget to check this before and make you trouble and work.. I´m sorry for that
Do you support also youtube videos? I like the theme but I´m looking also to integrate youtube videos. Is this possible?
Hi,
Thank you for your interest in Zaya.
Yes, you can absolutely integrate YouTube videos. Since Zaya is built with the native WordPress (Gutenberg) editor, you can use the built-in YouTube block to embed videos anywhere in your posts or pages.
Simply paste a YouTube link into the editor, and WordPress will automatically convert it into an embedded video.
Zaya does not include a custom video post type or special video-specific layouts — it relies on WordPress core blocks for video embedding and display, which makes it flexible and easy to use.
To make things clearer, I’ve attached a short video tutorial showing exactly how to add a YouTube embed inside a post/page using the block editor. Please have a look — it’s very straightforward. This is the video: How to embed a Youtube to a post
If you have a specific layout in mind (for example, using video as featured media or inside blog archives), feel free to share more details and I’ll be happy to clarify further.
Best regards,
NusaTheme
OK, thanks
this was my question (special video-specific layouts).
One question more, how many categories or links can I do in the menu and submenu? I can´t see or find some Information about this.
Thanks for helping
Cheers
Jens
Hi Jens,
Great question
There’s no built-in limitation on the number of categories, menu items, or submenus you can create. WordPress itself allows you to add as many menu links and dropdown levels as needed.
That said, from a design perspective, we recommend keeping the menu structure clean and well organized. Since Zaya has a minimalist layout, adding too many top-level items or deep submenu levels may affect readability and overall aesthetics, especially on mobile devices.
Cheers,
NusaTheme
Thanks, I like this because Zaya has a minimalist layout <3
it takes always some hours to understand how works a theme. Now I think I´ve one (hoppfully the last
): How can I set the theme that the dark modus is standard an if the user want can switch it to the light modus?
Hi
Great question, and no worries, it’s completely normal to need a bit of time to get familiar with a theme.
To set Dark Mode as the default, please follow these steps:
- Go to Appearance → Theme Settings
- Look for the Color Scheme / Default Mode option
- Set it to Dark
- Save your changes
I’ve also attached a screenshot to help guide you.
Theme Settings
After that, your website will load in Dark Mode by default, and users can still switch to Light Mode using the toggle.
Oh men…. this was so easy. Thanks, now I´m happy looks great! Cheers Jens
Hello Zaya Team, Update zaya-modern-personal-blog-wordpress-theme I initially installed the Theme with the file themeforest-XYZXYZ-zaya-modern-personal-blog-wordpress-theme-wordpress-theme.zip Now I updated the Theme with the Envato Market plugin. But when I check the WordPress Plugins menu, it shows that Zaya Core is still version 1.1.0. When I updated the Theme with the Envato Market plugin, should I also update the Zaya Core plugin? What do you recommend for updating the Zaya Core plugin? Thank you for your kind reply.
Hi,
Thank you for your question.
Yes, the Zaya Core plugin needs to be updated separately from the theme. Updating the theme via the Envato Market plugin does not automatically update bundled plugins, including Zaya Core.
To update the Zaya Core plugin, please follow these steps:
- Download the latest theme package from ThemeForest.
- Extract the ZIP file on your computer.
- Inside the extracted folder, locate the Zaya Core plugin file (usually inside a “plugins” folder).
- Go to WordPress → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
- Upload the new Zaya Core ZIP file and confirm replacing the existing version.
After updating, the plugin version should show the latest release.
If you need any further assistance, please feel free to email us through our ThemeForest profile page and we’ll be happy to help.

Hi, I’m struggling to properly import the Zaya theme. I don’t know if I’m missing some plug ins, it seems as though editind directly with Wordpress is missing too many elements and then using the Kubio editor is better but still missing some key pieces.
Hi, thanks for reaching out.
First, could you please confirm whether you have installed and activated the Zaya Core Plugin? This plugin is required for importing demos and for all theme elements to appear correctly in the WordPress editor.
Zaya is designed to work primarily with the native WordPress (Gutenberg) editor. Using third-party editors like Kubio may result in missing or inconsistent elements.
To help us understand the issue better, please send a few screenshots of what you are seeing to nusatheme17@gmail.com. Once we can see the missing elements, we can guide you more accurately.
Looking forward to your reply.

Hi, I’ve been using Zaya for three months now and I’m very satisfied. Unfortunately, there’s one problem: on the mobile version, I have to double-click to expand the submenu. This seems like a technical error, as it worked fine before. Can you take a look at what’s going on and how I can solve it?
Kind regards, Barbara
Hi,
Thanks for your comment.
Please send us an email through our ThemeForest profile page so we can assist you further. It would be very helpful if you could include a screenshot of the issue you’re experiencing.
We’ll be happy to take a closer look and help you resolve it.

Hello,
When trying to get category-related result I see in on the page all the records but not filtered. On the same site with other themes I don’t have this issue: https://explorista.space/category/findings/
Hi,
Thanks for reporting this.
Sometimes the Gutenberg Query Loop block doesn’t refresh its filtering correctly, and this can happen especially on archive pages.
A quick fix you can try:
- Go to Appearance → Editor
- Open the “Archive” template
- Click “Save” to re-save the template without changing anything
This forces WordPress to refresh the Query Loop settings, and in most cases it fixes the issue where categories are not filtering correctly.
If the problem continues after re-saving, feel free to let me know and I’ll help you check it further.
Best regards,
NusaTheme
Goedenavond,
Bij onderzoek naar de websitesnelheid zien wij nog wat geks gebeuren: Website: https://pleziervoorjehond.nl
Er wordt via cloudflare 2 versies gedownload namelijk:
link rel=’stylesheet’ id=’multiple-authors-fontawesome-css’ href=’https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/font-awesome/6.7.1/css/all.min.css?ver=4.10.1' media=’all’ />
en
<link rel=’stylesheet’ id=’blockons-fontawesome-css’ href=’https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/font-awesome/7.0.0/css/all.min.css?ver=7.0.0' media=’all’ />
Is dit bewust? Of kunnen wij dit los van Cloudflare doen? Zijn beide versies los nodig?
In afwachting van uw reactie,
Met vriendelijke groet,
Nico
Hi Nico,
Thanks for your message.
The Zaya WordPress Theme does not use Font Awesome at all, so these two Font Awesome stylesheets are not coming from the theme.
The files you listed:
- multiple-authors-fontawesome-css
- blockons-fontawesome-css
are most likely being loaded by other plugins you have installed. for example, author-related plugins or block-extension plugins often include Font Awesome.
Since the theme doesn’t load these, you can safely manage or disable them through the plugin settings, or by deactivating the plugin that injects them (if you don’t need it).
Best regards, NusaTheme
Hi, thanks for your help! We found and removed the plugins causing the problem. Best regards, Barbara
hello I am having trouble with centering the theme once the about me section starts on the home page. everything has shifted to the right. please assist

I’m in the decision phase to get a FSE theme. On zaya the dot effect under the cursor can be disabled? Also, it is suited to make a magazine blog layout on it withavailable functionality or one of the post blocks plugins? It’s so minimalist that any small design inconsistency would ruin the looks.
Hi,
Thank you for your interest in the Zaya WordPress Theme.
Yes, the custom cursor (dot effect) can be easily disabled from the Theme Settings. You can see the theme options in the image provided in this link: theme options.
Since Zaya is a Full Site Editing (FSE) theme, it gives you flexibility to modify layouts and styles. However, please note that it was built with a specific minimalist design direction, so I can’t promise that it will perfectly fit all layout types, such as complex magazine-style blogs, without additional customization or plugin styling adjustments.
Best regards,
NusaTheme
I am happy and excited about the template, and I want to learn about and use all of its features. I am continuing to analyze the template documentation, but I have the following question. The template has two style options: light and dark. The dark color is black, but I want to change it from black to dark green. Where can I find the feature to change the color? Thank you for your kind response.
Hi,
Thank you so much for your kind words, we’re really glad to hear that you’re enjoying the Zaya theme.
Currently, the Zaya WordPress Theme doesn’t include dark mode color settings directly in the editor. To change the dark color (for example, from black to dark green), you’ll need to override the existing dark mode CSS variables.
Please contact us via email through our profile page, and we’ll guide you through the exact steps in detail. It’ll be easier to share the code and explanation there.

Hello,
We see that the item on the homepage:
The section recent posts is standard heading: H4
But we want to change it to: H3
How can we change this?
Best regards,
Barbara
Hi Barbara,
You can change the heading level directly in the editor. Simply select the “Recent Posts” heading block, you’ll see an option to change the Heading Level (for example, from H4 to H3).
You can see the heading options in editor like in this image Change heading level
Best regards,
NusaTheme
Hello,
No that’s not what i meaned. It’s about the dynamic titles from the blogs. You can’t change that because it’s automaticly made. For example: https://pleziervoorjehond.nl The titles: beste drinkfles voor je hond & De beste puppyren These are in H4 in default. But we want to change this to a H3.
Best regards,
Barbara
Hi Barbara,
Thanks for the clarification!
For the dynamic post titles (like the ones in the Recent Posts section), please watch this short tutorial video I’ve attached — it shows exactly how you can change the heading level for those titles.
And also, you should read this Recent Post AJAX documentation to make sure the posts that load with AJAX have the same structure.
Best regards,
NusaTheme
Hi,
Thank you so much for the support! This video helped me fix it.

Hello,
Can I use a regular photo as the header image? I don’t want text on the photo, so I’d like a brightly colored photo. Thanks in advance for your reply.
Website: pleziervoorjehond.nl
Kind regards, Barbara
Hi Barbara
Yes, you absolutely can! You can use any regular photo as your header image, including a brightly colored one, and it’s completely fine to remove the text if you prefer a clean look.

Hello,
I have problems with the header menu. On mobile you can’t click on it.
And in the footer the menu must stay visable So not a hamburger menu on mobile.
How can i change both things?
Best regards,
Barbara
Hi Barbara,
I’ve checked your site, and it looks like the Offcanvas Header (mobile header) template part isn’t included in your template. This is why the menu can’t be clicked on mobile.
The header in this theme is made up of three template parts, as explained in the documentation here: Header Documentation. Please make sure you’ve included the Offcanvas Header part in your header template, as shown in this example image: template editor.
Once that’s added, the mobile menu should work properly.
Best regards,
NusaTheme
Thanks for your response! We have now activated the Offcanvas Header. I’m still wondering how to ensure the menu remains visible in the footer. It’s currently a hamburger menu, which isn’t what I want. Thank you in advance for your response! Kind regards, Barbara
UPDATE: We found the problem ourself! Thank you anyway
Hello,
We have problems with the header menu. It is to smal for al the items please see: https://nieuw.pleziervoorjehond.nl/ for details. Can we make the header menu full width?
Best regards,
Barbara
Hi Barbara,
I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with the header layout, and thanks for letting us know
The theme’s header was designed with a specific max-width as part of its overall layout and visual balance. However, you can absolutely adjust this if you’d like to make the header (and menu) span the full width of the screen.
I’ve just added a short video tutorial to the online documentation that shows exactly how to do this. Please check it out here: How to change header width
Best regards,
NusaTheme
Thank you, this was very helpfull.
Hello,
I have already made posts from my old website. These are imported to the staging area to build the new website. But my question is: how can i bulk or change for all blogitems the standard template from singel posts to: single posts full width?
Best regards,
Barbara
Hi Barbara,
Thanks for your question
At the moment, WordPress doesn’t include a built-in option to bulk change the post template for all existing posts. You’ll need to open each post and select the Single Post – Full Width template manually from the Post → Template settings in the editor.
For a quicker way, you can also use Quick Edit from the Posts → All Posts page and select the template there. Please note that WordPress doesn’t currently support changing templates in bulk, so this needs to be done one by one.
Once that’s done, all selected posts will display using the full-width layout.
Best regards,
NusaTheme
Hi, thank you for the quick response. Too bad it’s not possible to set the single post full width as the default, as I now have to adjust it manually 52 times. Perhaps an idea for NusaTheme for the future?
Kind regards, Barbara
Hi Barbara,
Thank you for your kind feedback, and I completely understand how time-consuming that can be when you have many posts to update. That’s a great suggestion, and I’ve added it to our list for future updates so users can set a default post template more easily.
We truly appreciate your support and are glad you’re using the Zaya theme! If you’re enjoying it so far, we’d be incredibly grateful if you could take a moment to leave a review on Zaya theme. It really helps us continue improving and supporting users like you.
Thank you again, and have a great day!

.
Hi, thanks for reaching out!
The error usually happens if the full package from ThemeForest is uploaded instead of the actual theme install file. Please follow the step-by-step instructions in this guide to upload the theme correctly:Installation
That should resolve the issue. If you still face any problems after following the instructions, feel free to let us know and we’ll be happy to help further.

Hi, does the theme supports sticky menu??
Hi, thanks for your question!
At the moment, the theme doesn’t support a sticky menu by default. However, we appreciate your interest, and this is something we may consider adding in a future update based on user feedback.
How can I set the dark theme as the default without needing a toggle switch?
Hi, thank you for your question.
Currently, the theme is designed to use the color mode toggle switch, and it doesn’t support setting the dark theme as the default out of the box. However, we plan to include an option for setting the default color mode in a future update.
In the meantime, if you’d like to make the dark theme load by default and remove the toggle switch, it’s possible by modifying a small portion of code in the theme’s functions file.
Feel free to email us through our profile page here: NusaTheme Profile, and we’ll gladly send you the exact instructions and code to make that change.
Best regards,
NusaTheme
Hi, thanks for your comment!
Could you please provide more context regarding the changes you’ve shared in the Pastebin link? Let me know what you’re trying to achieve, where you’re applying these changes, and if you’re encountering any issues. I’d be happy to help once I have a bit more information.
Thank you, I don’t need help. Those are my hotfixes if anyone wants them.
