Hi chgrcito,
Our support team has already responded to your query. We kindly request that you take a moment to review our reply at your convenience.
The Ynex demo clearly shows a smooth dropdown animation — it fades and expands naturally when opening the navigation. However, the downloaded HTML version doesn’t include this effect at all.
When we raised a support ticket, Spruko first replied:
“We would like to inform you that the menu dropdown animation you’re observing is part of the default MudBlazor behavior. The dropdown in MudBlazor is designed to open instantly without a gradual expand animation. This is the intended functionality defined by the framework itself, not a missing feature or issue in the template.”
After we pointed out that the demo does show an animation, they changed their stance, saying the demo “mirrors the Blazor design” and that animations are part of Blazor only.
At this point, it feels like they’re just tossing explanations around instead of taking the concern seriously. The HTML demo itself visibly includes the animation, yet the downloaded files don’t — and there’s no note anywhere stating that the demo uses effects not included in the product.
If the demo isn’t representative of what buyers actually receive, that should be disclosed clearly. Otherwise, it’s misleading and gives the impression that Spruko isn’t taking legitimate feedback seriously.
Hi devenvato3
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding the menu dropdown animation in the Ynex – MudBlazor Web App Blazor Dashboard Template. We truly appreciate the opportunity to clarify this.
As per your request, we’ve updated the template to include the smooth dropdown animation effect you mentioned in your support ticket. Please note that this animation is available only in the HTML version of the template and not part of the default MudBlazor version, since MudBlazor’s native framework behavior does not include such expand or fade animations.
We also want to highlight that our landing page clearly states:
“Notice: The HTML demo mirrors the final Blazor version’s design; only functionality differs after download.”
This means that while the HTML demo reflects the same design as the Blazor version, the interactive behaviors may vary due to the framework’s limitations.
That said, customer satisfaction is extremely important to us, and to ensure your experience meets expectations, we’ve customized the template as per your requirement. Please visit our support desk to review our latest response.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support.
Best regards,
Spruko Sales
Why all versions Mudblazor, HTML, Laravel, React, etc., have the same demo page? Or is it that some elements on the demo page are from Mudblazor, others from Laravel, and so on? I want confirmation that everything on the demo page uses Mudblazor components, or please tell me which ones do and which ones don’t.
Please, before making the purchase, I would like to know which version of Modblazor is used and if it is possible to change to WASM.
Hi chgrcito,
The MudBlazor version used in Ynex – MudBlazor Web App Blazor Dashboard Template is 8.11.0.
Regarding WASM (WebAssembly), yes — the MudBlazor version is compatible with WASM. However, please note that some adjustments may be required to accommodate the folder structure and certain functionalities when switching to a WASM setup.
Best regards, SPRUKO-SALES
Does the Mudblazor version use Bootstrap?
Hi @adamh409,
Thanks for your question! The Ynex – MudBlazor Web App Blazor Dashboard Template does not use Bootstrap. It’s built entirely with MudBlazor components and leverages NuGet packages for its UI and functionality.

Hi Team,
Your startup kit is still using MudBlazor v7.7, which is significantly outdated. There have been over 30 releases since that version. Could you please let me know when you plan to support a MudBlazor version newer than 7.7?

Hi brijesh43,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We understand your concern regarding the current MudBlazor version (v7.7) used in the stater kit. At the moment, our development team is focused on other ongoing projects. Once those are completed, we plan to begin the process of updating Ynex MudBlazor from v7.7 to the latest available version.
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter, and we’ll make sure to notify you once the update is available.

Hi Team,
The main issue is that after upgrading to MudBlazor v8.8.0, Ynex is breaking the menus and several other controls. I believe this is a blocker, so please review it as a priority.
Thanks

Hi Spruko Support Team,
This is a critical issue, as Ynex currently supports the significantly outdated MudBlazor v7.7, and we haven’t received any timelines regarding an update. I believe raising this to the wider community may help, as it impacts everyone using this theme.
When I try upgrading MudBlazor to the latest version, the application breaks completely.
My humble request is that you please look into this matter for the benefit of all customers. I was one of the earliest adopters (the 4th purchaser, and now there are 94 purchases), and I see this as a major blocker for all users, not just myself.
Thank you for your support and understanding and appreciate in advance.
Hi brijesh43,

Guys, this is not a Blazor WASM (WebAssembly), this is a Blazor Server Template.

Can i use the lastest NET 9 version, or only NET 9.0.102 SDK that you mencioned in the document?
Hi miguelconde,
Thanks for your question! As mentioned in the documentation, we’ve specifically used .NET 9.0.102 SDK for this setup to ensure consistency and compatibility. While the latest .NET 9 version may work.
