I have recently purchased the Vikinger – BuddyPress and GamiPress Social Community theme, and I am very impressed with its design and features.

However, for the specific requirements of my project, I need to simplify the user experience. I would like to know the best way to disable or deactivate the following features:

Media Uploads: Preventing users from uploading videos and images.

Gallery/Video Feed: Removing or hiding the media-specific activity streams and gallery sections from the profiles and the main feed.

Could you please guide me on whether these can be turned off via the theme settings, or if there is a recommended way to deactivate them without affecting the theme’s core stability?

I am using the Vikinger theme.

I added the Google Fonts API key in Vikinger Settings → Font, but the font dropdown list is still empty and I cannot select any fonts.

I already tried: – Clicking Publish – Closing and reopening the Customizer – Purging LiteSpeed Cache – Enabling Web Fonts Developer API in Google Cloud

But the fonts still do not load.

Can you please help me fix this issue?

I’m experiencing a routing issue with Vikinger and the Better Messages plugin.

Environment: Theme: Vikinger (latest version) Plugins: BuddyPress, Better Messages Site: https://www.blogengage.com

Problem: When clicking “View All Messages” from the header messages dropdown while logged in, the link routes to:

/members/blogengage/settings/bp-member-messages/

This page returns a 404 error.

Observed behavior: • Header dropdown “View All Messages” links to /members/blogengage/settings/bp-member-messages/ • Visiting /members/blogengage/messages/ redirects to the WordPress admin dashboard • Visiting /members/blogengage/bp-messages/ results in a 404 page • The correct Better Messages interface never loads

Configuration: • Better Messages → Settings → “Messages Location” is set to “Show in BuddyPress profile” • BuddyPress messaging component is enabled • Permalinks have been refreshed • Better Messages BuddyPress integration is enabled • The messaging link appears automatically in the Vikinger header dropdown (not manually added)

Additional context: The issue appears to be that Vikinger is routing the header message link to the old BuddyPress settings endpoint (/settings/bp-member-messages/), but the Better Messages interface is not replacing or handling that route, resulting in a 404.

Questions: 1. Is /members/{username}/settings/bp-member-messages/ the correct endpoint for Vikinger + Better Messages? 2. Should the theme instead be routing to /members/{username}/messages/ or another endpoint? 3. Is there a required Vikinger integration setting or plugin module that enables the Better Messages template on that endpoint?

Steps already attempted: • Verified Better Messages settings • Verified BuddyPress messaging component • Flushed permalinks • Tested alternative endpoints manually • Confirmed the header link is generated automatically by the theme

Any guidance on the correct endpoint configuration or required integration settings would be appreciated.

I recently installed the Vikinger theme on a fresh WordPress installation for my site Blog Engage and ran the built-in setup wizard to install all required plugins. The setup page now shows that all plugins are installed, active, and up to date.

However, I am experiencing an issue where most of the interactive theme components do not load on the front end. Pages render correctly visually, but sections that should display content (activity feeds, widgets, blog lists, etc.) remain stuck on loading animations. A red “Network Error” message also appears in the corner of the screen.

What I have confirmed so far:

• WordPress is working normally.
• BuddyPress components are enabled.
• Vikinger plugins installed successfully via the setup tool.
• WordPress REST API is working (`/wp-json/` returns data).
• Creating and publishing normal WordPress posts works correctly.

Because the REST API appears functional, I suspect the issue may be related to how Vikinger is fetching data via AJAX or possibly a configuration step I may have missed.

Could you please advise:

1. If there is an additional configuration step required after running the Vikinger setup. 2. If demo content import is required for the theme widgets to function. 3. Whether there are known issues related to AJAX/network requests during initial setup.

Any guidance on what I should check next would be greatly appreciated.

I need some info about the theme. I loved it, altought I know that a fresh install is not the same thing as the demo provided in the preview website.

I already saw that you guys do not provide installation services(perhaps even with additional payment) But the instalation process will lead me to have all functions inside the demo working just exactly the demo? Achievements, badges and etc… If not, please give me where can I find the full package.

And also idk if a cupon is possible, but I’m from Brazil and this price is actually a bit pricey for me. It would help a lot.

Since registration is closed on your demo site, we couldn’t find answers to some of our questions.

Hello, I encountered a problem during installation. After importing the demo data, I couldn’t access the website’s category pages or inner pages, getting a 404 Not Found error. The homepage is accessible, but the category and inner pages are not. I followed the tutorial video, but many plugin functions differed from the video’s instructions. Do you have any updated tutorial videos?

In the Live Streaming section, “Twitch” is currently the only option. Is it possible to use alternative platforms such as kick.com or youtube.com, or integrate external plugins like Streamit – Live Video Streaming Player WordPress Plugin, DynTube Stream WordPress Plugin, or WP Stream?

I am a happy user of vikinger (and other products of yours) Today i re-installed the vikinger theme (which has been upgrated super nicely) – AND am user of the websoc version of “better messages”. It seems, that your theme cannot change the primary accent color (violett), so it shows influence to the better messages colors (which also cannot changed in the wp customizer).
