My website had almost constant broken site issues with LiteSpeed ​​Cache, so I decided to switch to WP Rocket, but it seems the errors persist. However, this time it’s no longer a constant problem.

Perhaps an Elementor setting is causing the site to break. I’ve used other premium WordPress themes and never had this problem.

This issue may be related to caching or CDN issue. Please try the following steps:

I’m testing Foxiz on a new project. When activating the licence, it says it was active on a different domain. The different domain is running a Anesta theme. So, I loaded Foxiz into the old domain and then activated it, then deactivated it. This should clear the license. The message says the theme is available for use on a different domain.

I then attempted to activate the license on the different domain I plan to build a site with the theme. I waited 2 hours, but it still says the license is active on the original different domain.

I lodged a support ticket, but you said my support time had expired. I don’t need support I just need you to clear the license.

Can you sort this out. This delay is screwing up my workflow.

After waiting hours and no reply. On the deactivated domain I spun up a sub-domain and the theme license activated instantly. So even though it said it was deactivated it never was. The license has only ever been used to test projects, never used in production. Never used on a live product.

Here I am wasting fcking hours on a license that I should be able to use on any project I want – before selecting that license and using the license on a live production product.

I’ve been buying licenses through ThemeForest for over a decade. Its’s never been so restrictive to workflow. I am ACTIVELY looking for better providers than ThemeForest whose licensing system is less prohibitive and more in line with how website are actually built.

Please note that our theme license allows you to activate it simultaneously on a subdomain and the production site of the same domain for testing purposes.

However, if you install the theme on a subdomain and then want to activate the license on a different main domain, you must deactivate the license first. Each license is valid for only one website at a time.

To help you move forward quickly, we have already manually deactivated the license on all subdomains you previously registered. You should now be able to activate the license on your intended domain without any issues.

Well I thought there is fallback for entire media library where I can set universal caption like “Copyright Example.com” for all my images. Too bad;-) So fallback only picks the standard Wordpress caption instead of caption you can set in blog post editor in Foxiz menu.

There is no global default caption that can be applied to all images. Each image caption needs to be set individually to ensure proper SEO behavior.

Hello, First of all, thank you for your prompt response to my constructive criticism, or at least what I intended to be constructive criticism.

I would also like to thank the user “nnesovic” for using my opinion as a reference. As you can see, I am not the only one.

As for the repository link, this is a request that several users have been making for at least two years, even providing links to information to give you an idea or option of what the plugin for surveys, polls, or comparisons should be like for many of us who have already tried several survey plugins with poor results. That is why we are asking you for it. But it’s a request we’ve been making for at least two years…. I agree with nnesovic that this new plugin, at least in my case, doesn’t benefit me in any way or change anything. I don’t think I’m going to use it because, when the time comes, I don’t see it as useful, and I repeat, IN MY CASE. It may be useful to others.

I would have looked to improve other things, such as automatic cropping of featured images so you don’t have to set sizes for cropping… Improve the video feature. You could add a YouTube link and let users choose whether the video loops for a few seconds on the home page so that everything isn’t so static. You could have combined several “cosmetic” modifications and made a big update, and it would have worked. And without detracting from what you did, it was just that maybe it was better to go in another direction.

I would like to follow up on the comment written by showsarg, as I fully agree with it and share the same opinion. I also had higher expectations from this “major” update, especially considering the announcements and the amount of time that passed since the previous version.

I would also like to comment on your new Light Views Counter plugin, as unfortunately it is not working properly on my website. I followed all of your recommendations carefully: – I removed the previous views counter plugin you suggested, – migrated the data, – disabled Jetpack, – cleared the cache.

Despite this, the new plugin does not record visits correctly. I can clearly see post views in Google Analytics, but those views are not reflected in Light Views Counter. As a result, I currently do not have reliable view data, which is quite important for magazine and news websites.

The comment by showsarg accurately reflects my general impression regarding the direction of the theme. The focus seems unclear, and users who use the theme as a magazine or news site do not gain many concrete benefits from this update.

I hope you take this feedback in a constructive way. The intention is only to point out real issues and help improve the theme and its tools going forward.

In this update, we addressed two issues that we consider very important and necessary for news websites. We have a broad perspective and update the theme based on requests from many customers. However, we understand that we cannot meet the expectations of every customer.

In previous versions, the post views feature was based on Post View Counter and multiple authors relied on PublishPress Authors. These are third-party plugins. While Post View Counter works very well, its data storage process consumes significant server resources for websites with high traffic. Popular Posts relied entirely on this feature.

Regarding Post Views :

We developed Light Views Counter as an alternative solution for this case. It is suitable for high-traffic websites or basic hosting plans, allowing them to run smoothly with better performance. The theme still supports Post View Counter for those who prefer to use it.

Light Views Counter has some intentional limitations: users need to scroll to view content before a view is counted, and if a user visits multiple times within a short period, the plugin only counts it once. This data may differ from Google Analytics due to different counting methods. These settings can be adjusted in the plugin settings. We implemented it this way to ensure Popular Posts accurately reflects genuine reader engagement.

About Multi-Authors:

PublishPress Authors offers many services beyond multiple authors, some of which are unnecessary for most users. We developed a lightweight plugin that allows customers to assign multiple authors with this single focused feature. We believe this is what customers truly need.

Additionally, as a news theme, we have also provided many new customization options and new demos in this update.

so.. with the new 2.7 version, i installed the recommended Light Views Counter plugin (and migrated the data from Post Views Counter plugin). Now what? I use popular posts (by view count) on my homepage, will it automatically know to take the data from the new plugin? it is safe to delete the old Post Views Counter plugin? i didn’t see any reference to it in the theme’s settings..

Light Views Counter is designed for optimal database performance and is particularly suitable for high-traffic websites that may experience performance issues with Post Views Counter due to its heavier resource usage. You can also still use the Post Views Counter if you prefer.

Hi, I noticed you added your own post views plugin, so I installed it and deactivated the previous plugin, but the view count isn’t showing up on my posts. It used to appear in the Entry Meta Tags, but it’s not there anymore. So I deactivated it and went back to the previous plugin. I’d like to know if there’s a way to make it work automatically, or what I need to do to use it. I no longer have premium support, so I’d appreciate a response here. Thanks.

Hi. Yes, I did that, and everything migrated fine. But that’s not the problem. As I mentioned, the counters simply aren’t showing up. I have the theme and the Foxiz core plugin updated, but the counters just aren’t appearing; they’re not activating. There’s nothing visible. They only appear at the end of the post when I activate that option, but they don’t show up in the meta tags, nor in the “View Post Counter” section. Nothing happens; there are no counters. How can I display them?

Hello, Well, once again I am disappointed with the much-hyped major update. It is still missing something that many of us were expecting: surveys, improvements, and a template that, although the one they published is fine, is not up to the standard of the latest ones… I can imagine the effort involved, but three months for this update is a disappointment. They also generated a lot of expectation, which is why I repeat, this is not a very good way to update. They weren’t big changes, maybe for you they were, but for the user, unless you have a lot of people uploading posts referring to different authors, the rest don’t even benefit from the view counter. In fact, I don’t know if in some cases it doesn’t add, but rather subtracts. In my case, it’s more useful to alter the views. Once again, I ask you to focus on where you are going with the template, because at one point it was all WooCommerce, and now there is nothing beneficial for those of us who make a magazine or news page…. I hope you don’t take this the wrong way; it is always with the intention of adding value and building. But I won’t deny that I expected something else. Thanks a lot for including a replacement for the post view counter plugin. However, you might want to check the plugin’s functionality with elementor. It does not seem to retrieve the posts according to the seletced time frames or the category restrictions. Sometimes, it just shows articles with the lowest page views and sometimes pure nonsense. :-) Page views have been migrated beforehand of course.
