J’utilise actuellement le thème WordPress Datebook sur mon site et je suis en train de finaliser la rédaction de mes CGU / CGV et de ma politique de confidentialité dans le cadre de la conformité RGPD.
Afin de fournir des informations exactes, pourriez-vous me confirmer les points suivants concernant le thème Datebook :
1. Où sont stockées les données des membres (inscription, profil, messages, interactions) : – exclusivement dans la base de données WordPress du site – ou bien également sur des serveurs tiers liés au thème ?
2. Le thème Datebook effectue-t-il, par défaut, des transferts de données vers des services externes (API, serveurs distants, tracking, etc.) ?
3. Le thème intègre-t-il des outils de suivi, statistiques ou collecte de données personnelles nécessitant un consentement spécifique (cookies non essentiels) ?
Ces informations sont nécessaires pour garantir une information transparente des utilisateurs et une conformité totale au RGPD.

I’m contacting you again, not about the update, but about the difficulties my members are having logging in. 80% of my site displays a database connection error. As I mentioned, my hosting provider says there’s a connection loop (the connections remain open indefinitely). You replied that it wasn’t a big deal and that you would fix it during the update, which still hasn’t arrived. Could you please resolve this issue urgently? I keep receiving insulting messages from my members.

Subject: Critical pagination bug for classified categories (Datebook theme)

I am using the Datebook theme and I have a serious issue with classified categories pagination.
I use the taxonomy classifiedcats for classifieds (e.g.: barbat-cauta-femeie, femeie-cauta-barbat, etc).
The category URLs work correctly:
/anunturi-intalniri/barbat-cauta-femeie/
But when clicking page 2, the pagination URL becomes:
/anunturi-intalniri/page/2/
instead of:
/anunturi-intalniri/barbat-cauta-femeie/page/2/
Because of this:
The category slug is lost
The listings become mixed (men + women from all categories)
SEO is broken
Users cannot browse category pages properly
I tried to fix this using WordPress rewrite rules and paginate_links filters, but it does nothing, which means Datebook is generating pagination with a custom function, not WordPress native taxonomy pagination. So my question is:
Where exactly in Datebook is the pagination base URL generated for classifieds taxonomy pages?
I need to know:
The file and function responsible for building pagination links for classifiedcats
Or how to override the base URL so it keeps the taxonomy slug
Example:
From:
/anunturi-intalniri/page/2/
To:
/anunturi-intalniri/{category-slug}/page/2/

We’re expecting great things from this update. I hope the wait is worth it.
I’d like to take this opportunity to remind you of the SERIOUS issue I highlighted over a month ago regarding the custom “gender” field and which I hope will be included in the upcoming update.
I quote from my post:
“I use this field with multiple inputs because I don’t have just two genres (I have several selectable for filtering, while I used the single drop-down menu). Let’s start by saying that the drop-down menu function, like the others, although selected in the backend, doesn’t work in the frontend (I’m talking about the search page). Instead, a large menu appears without a drop-down menu, only a scrollable one (not suitable for the page itself, given the location of the function). I also noticed that in the backend, again in the genre field I’m talking about, after a while, especially if you change the genre display mode, the selected mode disappears and, more importantly, THE DATA WITHIN IT ALSO DISAPPEARS.
Even though the data has disappeared from the backend, the search in the frontend works, but if I return to the backend, the data is missing from the relevant area. If I change the gender field display mode again and save, the data in the backend is still NOT present, and the word “ANY”. The data for the various genders has also disappeared from the frontend.”
I would also add, as suggested by a user, that adding a different icon associated with the unknown gender (which is neither male nor female) would be helpful in my case.

Question: Is it possible to add a reference to the admin profile with “Administrator” so that other profiles can recognize that this person is the administrator? Similar to the TOP reference in the profile, for example?

No. It is impossible to add a reference to an administrator profile. Because administrator does not have a profile and cannot have a profile.
But, if we add possibility for administrator to have his own profile, then yes it will be possible to add the reference.
But I don’t understand why administrator should have a profile. Administrator must not have it.
Because we use the Theme for internal community as well where the Admin can communicate (chat) in site as well with other members. So if you could please add something like an own profile for the administrator I would be much ablide.
Is there a way as well to send you small corrections other then here? Because I got a minor adjust for Dutch language: In DateBook: “My Account” in Dutch is “Mijn profiel” and not “Mijn rekening”. Indead an account is financial “Rekening” in Dutch, but “Profiel” for an profile account.
And I can’t find the place in language file where I can change the “Save” button in Dutch when adjusting profile fields in My Account. It’s now saying “Redden”, but needs to be “Opslaan”. “Redden” is the direct word for saving a persons life.
Maybe, later on, I could adjust more words, because I see Dutch translated words are Google’s litural translation and not translated in the meaning of the correct word.
Plus extra, I created now for test 3 genders: Man, Woman, Trans. Man and woman has their own gender sign, but trans sign is also a woman sign. Is it possible that trans can get their trans sign (https://share.google/VCNeqXVXZLDO5Vb1o)? Or where we can add extra genders, we could also add our own sign per gender item (upload or something like that).

Good day. Ok, I see. Yes, you can create several different subscription plans with different options as you said (as many as you want): (un abonnement à 25 € par mois un abonnement à 79 € pour une durée de 3 mois).
The DateBook subscription can work as standalone (without WooCommerce and other payment plugins) or in combination with WooCommerce.
- DateBook has 2 payment gateways integrated: PayPal and Paystack.
- But we recommend using WooCommerce. In this case, you will be able to install any payment gateway plugin.
DateBook can accept one-time payment and recurring payments. But you should know about recurring payment. If your payment gateway can handle and cancel recurring payments, then you can enable recurring payments in subscription plans. But sometimes, recurring payments may work incorrectly. It depends on payment plugin and payment gateway server. We cannot guarantee that recurring payments may correctly at all. Just test them!
You do not need to buy any other payment plugin: neither WooCommerce Subscription (or Simple) nor other subscription or membership plugins. It is useless!

Je vous contacte car je rencontre un problème lors de la publication d’une annonce sur la page « Annonces ».
Lorsque j’essaie de publier une annonce, le message suivant s’affiche : « You have no permission to post an ad. You must complete your profile first before posting a classified ad. »
Cependant, je précise que le profil utilisé en tant qu’utilisateur est bien complété, et malgré cela, je ne peux toujours pas publier d’annonce.
Par ailleurs, je constate que ce message d’erreur s’affiche en anglais alors que l’ensemble du site est en français, ce qui peut prêter à confusion.
Je souhaiterais donc savoir :
- comment faire pour publier une annonce fictive avec un profil fictif utilisé rien tant qu’admin? - s’il existe une étape supplémentaire ou un paramétrage spécifique à effectuer, - et s’il est possible d’afficher ce message en français. Je précise que j’utilise weglot pour la traduction

Also I have the question for gender in the theme as I see mentioned in these requests by others. I’m also wanting to use the theme for the LHBTIQ+ community, so just the gender male/female button and the male/female picture is a shortcoming. I know I could add genders but please add a genderneutral picture (avatar) as well, because in my community people will fall over this only 2 gender icon options as well.
Then I gladly would like to buy your goodlooking theme.
OK, I see. Actually, neutral avatar is included in the genders (woman, man and user). The user icon looks like a man. But I will do it more flexible. Thank you for the question.

Looks like a nice theme with some nice options in it. However, reading a lot of comments, makes me wonder if to buy this theme:
There seems a lot of issues with this theme, and a lot of errors are found by users who bought the theme and user RaCLD is not only a user but seems to be the tester of this theme, finding faults in the theme and asking for the fixes. Also it looks like Pagick is well willing to sort all the errors but lacks in time. Long promised updates are not presented (looking back RaCLD is already waiting +2 months for the next update which will sort out critical errors and newly found errors).
Makes me wonder if to buy this theme. We have 6 months of support, but the noumerous errors keeps us coming back here to present the errors in the hope they will be fixed in a short time.
But what if the 6 months of supports ends … Do I then need t buy extra support because this theme seems to be still in development stage?
Do not confuse bugs and errors! These are different things.
We always fix errors immediately! Immediately! Because, errors stop the theme.
But fixing bugs, takes some time. Because we need to reconsider some functions related to those bugs. We need to think why bugs occur and how to fix them better way.
So the theme cannot have errors because they get fixed very fast.
The theme’s functions are smart and complex. They think! That’s why we need some time to fix bugs.
Lots of bugs were fixed long time ago. But it looks like they are still relevant.
Unlike many themes, our theme has many more functions. If other themes have about 30-50 functions, our theme can have about 300 functions.
All of those functions must work with each other.
Do not worry about the support. If you find some error or bug, we will always fix it very fast. We will assist you as long as you use the DateBook theme.

Another possible cause is the number of open connections to your database.
Indeed, once the maximum number of connections is reached, the site can no longer create any more, which causes this error. You should therefore ensure that connections are closed as soon as the database query is complete to avoid this type of problem in the future.

But I will help you. In the next update I will add a special function that solves this problem.

Please note that there is a (significant) issue with the REST API, Elementor, and last but not least, the malfunction (and loss of settings) regarding the custom “gender” field with different inputs on the search form on the search page.

When someone registers, I am able to view their profile from the admin panel. However, when I click “View Profile” on the admin side, the profile opens very small and without any content. This issue occurs only for new registrations.

Hi thevarajah22. Thank you for the access to your website. I checked it. The problem was in the IP location function. It is the theme’s function. That function tried to connect to paid service and failed. Thus, the theme could not open the profiles correctly. Now I corrected the issue, I just disabled that function.
