I’m currently on Affinity 1.7 and Mikado Core 1.2.1. It seems that the theme has been updated, but I can’t see any updates in my WordPress dashboard. How can I force the update?

To update theme and bundled plugins please follow instructions from this article – How To Update A WordPress Theme And Plugins. After you update the theme all of the plugins with available updates will be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins.

Soon will be 3 years from the last update. When will it be available? I have the theme v2.1 with Mikado Core v1.2.5 that doesn’t work on PHP 8.0 and I had to downgrade to the obsolete 7.4.

The current version of the theme is compatible with the latest version of WordPress and with PHP 8.0.
The theme is added to the update list. At the moment we don’t have an exact update date, however you will be notified via email when the new update is online on ThemeForest.

Unfortunately, it’s not that. There is something else related to the mkd.functions.php file: “array_key_exists() expects parameter 2 to be array, string given in /affinity/framework/lib/mkd.functions.php on line 270”

I’m using Mikado Core 1.2.1 and it’s not working with php 8.0. It only works with php 7.4 or below.

We are aware of certain issues which surfaced after the WordPress 5.8 update rolled out, and we are doing our best to release the fix for this issue as soon as possible. I am trying to change the homepage of my webpage, but I’m having troubles. Now the “Maintainance Mode” page is selected and is well displayed, but when I try to select the final homepage, all the original layout of the page changes, and the message “Ha habido un error crítico en tu sitio web. Aprende más sobre la depuración en WordPress.” appears.This happens with all the pages I try to set as Homepage. Why is this happening?

1) Can we change the URL “portfolio-item” to other name (example: event) without amend the PHP?
2) Can we change the content layout of single portfolio with visual composer? Or it is a fixed layout (follow the option from theme) ?

1. This is possible to change within our theme options as you do have an option to change the portfolio slug.
2. You can do both. You can either choose to have an already predefined layout on portfolio single, where you do have several options but you can as well choose to create a custom portfolio single page creating your own layout with help of WPBakery.

Hello. I can’t configure my address on the contact page on google maps. I have already generated API Key and added it in the theme settings. On the contact page when pasting the link (embed map) and updating the address disappears.
