Technical Request: Ad Sections & Bump FunctionalityI would like to implement a professional ad management system on our WordPress site. Please review the following requirements and let me know if they are feasible.

1. Two-Tiered Ad Display (Premium & Regular)The ad listing page should be divided into two distinct sections:Premium Ad Section (Top): Only posts with a specific metadata (e.g., is_premium = true) should be displayed here.Regular Ad Section (Bottom): All standard posts will be displayed here.Logic: The Premium section must always stay at the top of the page, regardless of the Regular posts’ dates.

The ‘Bump’ (Jump-up) FeatureEach ad should have a “Bump” button that allows users to move their post back to the top of its respective section.Mechanism: When clicked, the system should update the post’s post_date or a custom sort_timestamp to the current time ($NOW$).Sorting: Within each section (Premium/Regular), posts should be sorted by this timestamp in descending order (DESC).Constraint: The Bump feature should only move the post to the top within its assigned section (A Regular post cannot bump into the Premium section).

Okay, now we have a better understanding. The listing feature is powered by the directorist plugin, a robust business directory plugin.

__1. Yes, you have have featured/paid listings. And yes, you can have the listing page divided into sections (by using 2 different shortcodes) to display paid and regular listings (payment can be made via paypal. Stripe would require you to purchase a paid addon).

You can also take advantage of the membership monetization features (for example, free user: 1 regular listing per month, and pro users 5 regular listings per month).

__ 2 & 3. No, it doesn’t have a “Bump” listing feature. But based on what you have written, it could be done with some extra code, but no promise. We may discuss a bit further.
