I found the source of the comments pagination issue.
Waveme / Play Block seems to replace native WordPress comments pagination with a custom scroller / load-more system inside:
`play-block/inc/class-play-comment.php`
The plugin adds `data-plugin=”scroller”`, removes the normal comments pagination output, and creates its own “more” button for comments.
This means that even when WordPress Discussion Settings are configured to break comments into pages, the frontend does not use the normal WordPress pagination.
A good improvement would be to add an option in Waveme / Play Block:
- Use native WordPress comments pagination
- Use AJAX load more comments
- Disable comments scroller
I temporarily fixed it by removing the Play Block comments filters, and native WordPress pagination works correctly again.
This theme seems to not be perfectly compatible with WP 6.9 onward. The pjax loading prevents some blocks to load their stylesheet, causing frontend mayhem. For example “last comments” block is broken if loaded on the second page visited because it is not loading its inline styles.

The software is still being sold, yet the developer appears to be ignoring all users completely. There are no meaningful updates, no visible support, and no real communication — but the product remains on sale as if everything were fine. Honestly, that feels very close to a scam.
I was actually considering buying another license for a second domain I own, but after seeing this situation, I have started looking elsewhere. To be honest, I am also losing trust in CodeCanyon, because this is not the first time customers have been left abandoned with products that are still being sold without proper support.
Instead of passing the project on or selling it to someone willing to maintain it and take care of customers, they seem to prefer continuing to sell it while not even showing their face. That is not professional, and it is not acceptable.
At this point, the only real solution seems to be a mass complaint sent to CodeCanyon support.

I noticed one of the users that registered on my site was able to create playlists and add music/radio stations to their own playlist, that account was not verified.
I kind of forgot about the verification part and just deleted the user account, I noticed after deleting that user account that the music//stations that user added to their playlists were gone from my website (the stations that I added to my website)
Also, can I install any user login/registration/verification type plugin with this theme? I’m testing User Verification, and want to test another membership and registration plugin.
I want to set up a better user registration system and verification process to keep out bots and fake accounts that don’t verify their emails, User Verification has an option to auto delete accounts that don’t verify their email by a set period (Daily) I’ve seen a few accounts signup with random names like: Username: tbttnoxpudydojjkz

Is it possible anything to do with registrations coming in from XMLRPC? I’m not getting many, since I setup verification plugins, but it hasn’t stopped. Random long usernames when someone signs up, they haven’t verified emails.
I currently use your Muzik theme on one of my sites but there are may features that I like about this build (as far as the page layouts). Can you tell me If I used this theme would I still be able to integrate EDD like I do the Muzik theme you have?

Hello, Since the last update of the wordpress, I cannot add any track. Even if I want to add a post the page remains blank, I reinstalled the theme same result. If I deactivate the Play Block plugin everything on the website is working. PS: also from more than 6 months the player doesnt load the current track playing. Any info please?

Hi, have a small issue, the header menu is overlapping the left menu. Depends which browser it’s viewed in, each displays it different.

Tried disabling all plugins, no luck, tried uploading the child theme zip, no luck.
It’s only happening with the child theme, works fine when I switch to the main Waveme theme. any suggestions appreciated. I installed the latest theme and child theme.
I fixed it, was plugin conflict
It’s happening again, I have one object cache plugin “Redis Object Cache” which is disabled, I also tried disabling all plugins, I can’t find any conflicts from other plugins. When I’m editing the site, it all looks fine in Chrome, if I view it in incognito or any other browser, the left menu is overlapped by the top menu. I have PageSpeed enabled on the server for this website.
Any help appreciated.
I think the issue was PageSpeed, which I enabled in CloudPanel. Guessing it’s to do with the CSS rule in PageSpeed settings. Disabled PageSpeed, theme fixed. Removed: PageSpeed. DisableFilters prioritize_critical_css; from PageSpeed settings file, saved, enabled PageSpeed, theme is fine.

Hi, having an issue where the website is loading with a white page, all text down the left side of the page, I enabled debug mode in wp-config and see a message at the top of the site.

I need to be very clear, because this is now affecting many users.
Waveme support replies, at best, every 2–3 months. That cannot be considered operational support for a product that is still actively sold on ThemeForest. At the same time, the theme is listed with outdated compatibility (WordPress 5.9.x / obsolete PHP), which gives a clear impression of abandonment and causes real frustration among customers.
I understand you may be working alone or managing multiple products, but in that case, responsible decisions must be made for users.
I need a concrete answer to the following points:
Is Waveme actively maintained, or is it effectively discontinued?
Is there a realistic timeline for updating compatibility with current WordPress and PHP versions?
Can you provide minimally regular support (weeks, not months)?
If you are unable to maintain the product, the most honest options would be to:
remove it from sale, or
transfer/sell the project to someone who can properly maintain and support it.
Continuing to sell the theme in its current state is damaging user trust and the product’s reputation.
I expect a clear response with decisions and timelines — not general statements.

Important note: The Loop-Block and Play-Block plugins should be included as mandatory components in the download package. They are part of the core structure, even if they are not always used directly.
Removing or missing these plugins can easily cause unintended breakage if someone modifies or deletes blocks by mistake. For stability and safety reasons, both plugins should remain installed at all times, unless the user fully understands the internal structure.

Hello, PLEASE HELP< I purchased the WaveMe WordPress theme. The “All files & documentation” download is incomplete. The package only contains:
Licensing folder
waveme-child.zip
waveme.zip
waveme-documentation.txt
There is no Plugins folder, no core plugin (waveme-core), no player plugin, and the theme ZIP itself contains no /includes directory or CPT files. As a result, the theme does not register Tracks, Albums, or Artists, and the required plugin installer (TGMPA) never appears.
Please provide the full theme package, including all required plugins (waveme-core, waveme-player, etc.) and the complete theme directory.

Hi, do you keep updating this theme? I have yet another suggestion for it: currently there is no option to delete a user avatar, which can be a problem when it comes to open sites with spam users or inappropriate images. Having to go to the database for that is annoying. A button to remove avatar from the admin panel would be awesome!

The issue seems to be that counter-reset does not take the paged offset into account.
The fix should calculate the offset as: (current_page – 1) * posts_per_page and apply it to the counter on paginated pages.
This affects SEO/UX on high-traffic listing pages.
